Boom!

The Heavenly Dao thunders, the fortune of the Human Race rises, and the Heavenly Dao rit is divided into three, falling respectively into the congratulatory clouds above the heads of Lieshan, Xuanqing, and Chi Jingzi.

With this rit aiding them, Lieshan becos the new leader of the Human Race without any obstruction, with even Fu Xi personally appearing to converse with Shennong for three days and nights.

This is not about discussing the Dao!

It is rely to inquire how Lieshan, after becoming the leader of the Human Race, plans to govern the Human Race and elevate its fortune.

Lieshan’s idea is also based on construction; he prepares to lead the Cultivators of the Human Race to transform those barren lands by cultivating Spirit Roots.

Fu Xi is very satisfied.

At this ti, the 86th-generation descendant of Fu Xi, who is also the current leader of the Human Race, Jie Mang, imdiately abdicates in favor of the virtuous, recomnding Lieshan to be the new leader of the Human Race.

Hence, the era of the Heavenly Emperor ends, and the Human Race officially enters the rule of the Earth Emperor.

And Lieshan, for cultivating various kinds of Spiritual Roots and Immortal Wood, has transford a vast expanse of superior Spiritual Fields and auspicious lands for the Human Race, and is honored by many as "Shennong."

As the teacher of the Earth Emperor, Chi Jingzi also leverages this bout of rit to successfully slay the first corpse.

However, unlike other Quasi-Saint Cultivators, the first corpse that Chi Jingzi slayed is not a Good Corpse or an Evil Corpse but the self that is claid to be the hardest to slay!

Chi Jingzi retreated to contemplate the Path of True Self, and his self-corpse, bearing the na "Chi Songzi," continues to cultivate new Spirit Roots with Lieshan.

However, before long, Chi Jingzi cos out of seclusion to find Xuanqing: "Daoist Xuanqing, could you give a few of those red threads of fate that Lady Nuwa once bestowed upon you?"

"What’s wrong?"

Xuanqing was startled to hear this.

But when Xuanqing heard about Chi Jingzi’s recent experiences, he couldn’t help but burst into laughter: "This is a good thing, why do you resist it so much?"

It turns out that he had always been by Lieshan’s side, and Lieshan’s two daughters, the imperial daughters Wei Yang and Sang, both began to harbor a trace of affection for him.

It must be said, when Yuanshi Tianzun was taking disciples, he cared quite a lot about appearance; the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect, except for Ju Liusun whose appearance is sowhat unsatisfactory, each and every one of them is graceful and virtuous.

"Ha ha ha!"

Xuanqing chuckled lightly: "If you don’t fancy them, just reject them directly; is there a need to ask for red threads of fate to match them with soone else?"

Listening to Chi Jingzi’s idea, he couldn’t help but suppress a chuckle: "Moreover, isn’t it quite common for Cultivators to take one or two companions in the Dao?"

Upon hearing this, Chi Jingzi’s face darkened instantly: "Then why don’t you find one?"

"Cough!"

Xuanqing, not expecting Chi Jingzi to turn the tables on him, cleared his throat and said, "Haven’t I just not yet t a suitable Daoist companion?"

A Daoist companion is not a lover, but soone who shares the sa ideals and can cultivate and discuss the Dao together, but within the Primordial lands, many Daoist companions also beco spouses.

Even Xuanqing doesn’t know why!

Perhaps because the union of Yin and Yang and the matching of Heaven and Earth lead to higher efficiency in cultivation?

In the end, Xuanqing still refuses Chi Jingzi’s request, using the "red threads of fate" on Mysterious Bird and Penglai—He wouldn’t feel guilty... But using it on Lieshan’s daughters, he dare not entangle himself with that karma!

Although both of the imperial daughters Wei Yang and Sang have half of the Phoenix Clan Bloodline in them, they consider themselves part of the Human Race, and so they naturally are mbers of the Human Race!

In the days that follow, Chi Jingzi does his best to avoid Imperial Daughter Wei Yang and Imperial Daughter Sang, while Lieshan also continues to research more Spirit Roots and Immortal Wood capable of transforming environnts.

Even combining the Heavenly Immortal Dao and Earth Immortal Dao for innovation, on top of the foundation of the Path of True Self, he adds the Heavenly Ti Skill and Earth Advantage thod to the Way of Shennong!

Heavenly Ti Skill, Earth Advantage thod, Self thod, these three aligns perfectly with the trinity of Heaven, Earth, and Man; only when rged into one, they beco the complete Way of Shennong, possessing the might to alter both Heaven and Earth.

He also passes this thod on to even more mbers of the Human Race, and for a ti, Lieshan’s reputation within the Human Race is elevated to a level comparable with that of Fu Xi.

Heavenly Emperor Fu Xi, despite opening the path to explore all heavens and myriad worlds, many of those small realms near Primordial lands are worlds with extrely harsh environnts.

Not suitable for the Human Race to live in.

Yet, those Spirit Roots cultivated by Lieshan can transform these worlds, requiring only a few Golden Immortals to make the change, turning them into superior Spiritual Fields and auspicious grounds.

In addition, he also researches the "Mother-child Vine," where just by planting a single vine, even if not in Primordial lands, the subtle connection between the child vine and mother vine allows communication across billions of miles of the void.

Spirit Roots that can postnatally improve aptitude or change the properties of Mana, Lieshan has also cultivated many, and many Human Race Cultivators have embarked on the Way of Shennong.

During this period, Ting Yao once again gives birth to a son and daughter for Lieshan, their son nad Emperor Kui, and their daughter nad Yao Ji, both showing promising cultivation aptitudes.

At the sa ti, the "red threads of fate" that Xuanqing quietly tied to Mysterious Bird, Penglai, and Emperor Donghua are revealed, triggering a great battle in the midst of Primordial lands.

The main characters of the great battle are Mysterious Bird, Penglai, and Feng Jiu from the Qingqiu fox tribe.

After returning to the Undying Volcano, both Mysterious Bird and Penglai are unable to stay calm in their cultivation, and upon careful deduction, they discover their matrimonial threads remain unsevered.

"Damn it!"

Both naturally think of Xuanqing first.

But at that ti, Xuanqing is cultivating on Golden Turtle Island, and even if they had ten thousand guts, they wouldn’t dare to travel to Golden Turtle Island to settle the score with Xuanqing.

Did they actually think the Tongtian Sect Master is vegetarian?

Seeing that they can do nothing about Xuanqing, both have no choice but to find their fated partners—only to discover that Xuanqing has tied their red threads to one person.

Emperor Donghua!

Had it been an ordinary existence, killing the other party would naturally sever the fate—

But Emperor Donghua has now recovered his Quasi-Saint cultivation, and with the aid of Feng Jiu from the Qingqiu fox tribe, neither of them can directly kill the other party!

And Feng Jiu finds herself instantly embroiled in the Enigma of the Heart of a Daluo, wishing to suppress these two Phoenixes seeking Donghua forever under Qingqiu Divine Mountain.

Being outnumbered, Feng Jiu is naturally not their opponent and imdiately calls for her aunt Bai Qian to help.

For Emperor Donghua, it’s like swallowing flies, horrible. The reason being, the "Thunder Spirit Pearl" bearing the "red thread of fate" has been used by him for slaying his corpse!

At this very mont, he finally realizes that he has been played by Xuanqing.

But he had no other choice!

Boom!

Endless "Phoenix True Fire" swept across the vault of heaven, and Feng Jiu’s nine fox tails also evolved into the "Nine Heavens Mysterious Fire," with a terrifying might that erupted in an instant.

The Mysterious Bird and Li Huang sought to end this karmic entanglent by slaying Emperor Donghua. At the mont, with their strength, they could still temporarily suppress the lustful power of the "Red Thread of Fate." However, if ti went on, they would inevitably fall into a mire of love from which they could not extricate themselves, placing them in a situation of irreversible doom!

And of course, Feng Jiu had no intention of letting them get what they wanted, nor was Emperor Donghua willing to await his execution passively.

Feng Jiu’s aunt, the Fox Queen Bai Qian, was unwilling to continue fighting and imdiately spoke, "Both Daoist friends and Emperor Donghua have been sched against. Isn’t such action exactly what the scher desires?"

"What do you suggest we do then?"

The Mysterious Bird also sensed sothing amiss.

But if they don’t kill Emperor Donghua, this karmic connection can never be severed!

Seeing this, Bai Qian glanced at everyone and said, "Since the strength of you Daoist friends is quite matched, why not simply beco Dao companions?"

"Impossible!"

Feng Jiu, caught in the Daluo Enigma of the Heart, imdiately shouted, "Those two feathered birds, steeped in Karma from head to toe, how could they be worthy of Emperor Donghua?"

"No way!"

The Mysterious Bird and Li Huang also flatly refused.

The Phoenix Clan has always valued lifelong commitnt. Even if looking for Dao companions, they would not share a husband with others.

The group resud their fierce battle.

Even under the influence of the Dao of Relationships, Mysterious Bird and Li Huang felt a hint of resentnt toward each other, despite both being powerful beings from the Phoenix Clan.

"Even if I can’t kill Emperor Donghua, if I am to fall into a love trial, his Dao companion could only be !"

Mysterious Bird and Li Huang thought the sa thing at that mont, then imdiately ca to their senses, "No, how could I have such a dreadful thought?"

"Suppress it!"

Shaken by fear, they hurriedly activated their techniques to suppress their desires. Just monts before, they felt as if they were lost in the Void Illusion Sea.

It was too terrifying!

For cultivators of their level, the unseen desires and karma are truly the most frightening, far more than any visible enemy.

One misstep could spell total defeat, and a single wrongful thought could plunge them into an unending disaster.

And Emperor Donghua was also frowning, then slowly suggested, "Could we not ask Lady Nuwa to cut the red string?"

Although he had limited interactions with the Phoenix Clan and had no close relationship with Lady Nuwa, he knew there was so history between Lady Nuwa and the Phoenix Clan.

Upon hearing this, the Mysterious Bird began to view Emperor Donghua more favorably and shook her head, "Cutting the string is easy, but the consequences are chaotic. If the red string could be so easily severed, it wouldn’t be called the red thread of fate, nor would the Red Embroidery Ball be considered the treasure of marriage bonds."

She had asked Lady Nuwa for the "Red Thread of Fate" previously, and Lady Nuwa used Chang’e and Hou Yi as a cautionary tale to warn her!

At the ti, she thought she was scheming against the Lieshan Tribe and didn’t take it seriously.

But now, this sche had been turned back on her by Xuanqing, to give her a taste of her own dicine. Only now did she realize it was reaping what she had sown.

Alas...

It was too late for regrets!

The battle ended inconclusively, and even so innocent beings were affected by their fighting, increasing the karma upon Mysterious Bird and Li Huang.

They could not overco Feng Jiu and Emperor Donghua, and similarly, Feng Jiu and Emperor Donghua could not overco them, nor did they wish to share a husband with Feng Jiu.

"Xuanqing!"

The two bit their teeth in anger.

Li Huang was so furious she wanted to go to the East Sea and guard it: "I refuse to believe that guy won’t leave Golden Turtle Island!"

Seeing this, the Mysterious Bird worried about Li Huang’s impulsiveness and quickly comforted her, "If it really cos to that, we will have no choice but to go to Mount Suru and ask Jieyin Saint to use Six Roots Pure Bamboo to temporarily suppress our passions with his seal!"

She did not want to resort to this thod, unless absolutely necessary. A cultivator should not be imrsed in passion, but without it, what difference is there from plants and trees?

Hou Yi was an example.

Now, Hou Yi’s desires were suppressed by the "Six Roots Pure Bamboo," making him no different from a Daoist soldier puppet.

anwhile, Emperor Donghua, watching the two leave, then turning to Feng Jiu beside him, felt the ambitions he had suppressed in his heart flare up again.

"If I can bring the Phoenix Clan and the Qingqiu fox lineage under my control, even if I can’t make a coback, I’ll be able to carve out a power in Primordial tis that rivals the Heavenly Court!"

However, he just thought about it and then shook his head. Although Mysterious Bird, Li Huang, and Feng Jiu were influential in their respective clans, they did not have the authority to directly decide the future of a whole race.

Besides Mysterious Bird and Li Huang, there were still many old Phoenix Clan figures in the Phoenix Clan.

Above Feng Jiu, too, there were several fox elders, and the current Fox Queen Bai Qian before him was one of them, and by no ans soone who would follow his commands.

...

anwhile, Yuanshi Tianzun, who was perceiving the Heavenly Dao on Kunlun Mountain, suddenly felt sothing: "Just as the Earth Emperor rises, signs of the Human Emperor’s ergence are appearing?"

He made a calculation and imdiately summoned Guang Chengzi: "The Human Emperor is about to appear; go to the Youxiong Tribe and wait. You should have a destined teacher-student connection with him!"

"Yes!"

Guang Chengzi was overjoyed.

After many aeons of retreat without finding the opportunity to cut the Three Corpses, and still being at the pinnacle of the Daluo, he naturally longed for the rit of teaching the Human Emperor.

Previously, besides the Nanji Daoist, he was considered the leading figure among the second generation of disciples in the Chan Sect.

But now, Chi Jingzi, with his rit from teaching Earth Emperor and perfecting the Dao of Shennong, had surpassed him and broken through to the Quasi-Saint realm first... To say he did not feel a sense of urgency would be impossible!

Therefore, when Yuanshi Tianzun appointed him as the Human Emperor’s teacher, his excitent was palpable!
