The skies over Wraithspine still burned.

The Judgnts were montarily scattered, their divine network broken. Rebel forces scrambled across the battlefield, wounded but alive—barely. And in the middle of it all, Elias stood atop the wreckage of the broken watchtower, staring into the black rift Zenith had left in his wake.

But beneath his feet... sothing stirred.

Not System-born.

Not celestial.

> Sothing Devil-made.

---

The System Reacts

> [Critical Alert: Soul Signature Divergence Detected]

Elias Black has triggered an unauthorized core-level evolution.

System Counterasure: In Progress...

Sowhere deep within the universal code, the System panicked.

Elias’s soul wasn’t just rebelling anymore—it was rewriting the rules. His core had started to reject divine tethering. Not because of external force... but will.

His devil blood was awakening sothing long suppressed.

Sothing forbidden.

---

The Crimson Rebellion Regroups

In the hidden ruins beneath the Sanctum, Ceryn, Myra, and Kael gathered beside the makeshift command pillar. Wraithspine’s suppression field was down, but they knew the Judgnts wouldn’t stay gone for long.

"They’ll co back stronger," Myra said.

"With more," Kael added. "They always escalate."

"We don’t have ti to run anymore," Ceryn said. "We have to finish this where it all started."

She turned to Elias, who had just entered through the cracked vault doors—his presence burning, eyes rimd with a faint hellish glow.

"I found sothing," he said, voice colder than before. "It’s below the city. Buried in the Pit."

Kael blinked. "The Pit? You an the one they sealed during the Soul Purge?"

Ceryn narrowed her eyes. "That’s where they buried the First Devil, Elias. You’ll die down there."

"I won’t," he replied, stepping toward the ancient lift. "Not this ti."

---

Descent Begins

The lift groaned as Elias descended alone, torchlight barely touching the walls of the shaft. Faint whispers crawled across the stone—whispers in languages long forgotten.

> "El’Azar failed."

"Devil blood always betrays."

"You are not a monarch—you are a mistake."

Elias clenched his fist.

But the further he went, the clearer the air beca.

The pressure didn’t crush him.

It recognized him.

And when the lift finally stopped, he stood before a gate built from obsidian bone, lined with runes etched in pain itself. A single word burned in front of him:

> UNLOCK

He placed his hand on it.

And it shattered.

---

The Devil’s Core

The chamber was vast—circular, with a black fla hovering above a pit that roared with screaming shadows. Floating above the center of the room was a crimson crystal—pulsing with demonic energy so potent it made his knees buckle.

A voice whispered from it.

> "So... you finally returned."

Elias blinked. "Who are you?"

> "The one who failed you last ti. The Devil you needed. The Devil you’ll now beco."

From the shadows erged a shape.

Tall.

Horned.

And wearing Elias’s face.

Only older. Angrier. His skin was cracked with molten power, his eyes glowing like twin infernos.

> "I am your other self. The one the System locked away. And if you want my power... you’ll have to kill ."

The Final Trial

Elias surged forward, blade drawn, eyes glowing. His clone—the Devil Mirror—smiled and returned the charge.

They clashed with an explosion of crimson energy.

Fire and soulsteel collided. The floor cracked with every impact. But this wasn’t like Zenith. This was personal. Every strike cut through mory, through pain, through the past he never lived—but felt.

The Devil Mirror snarled. "You think you can carry what I couldn’t?!"

Elias roared back, eyes burning. "I don’t need to carry it. I’ll beco it!"

With one final blow, he plunged his blade through the mirror’s chest.

It smiled.

> "Then burn."

---

The chamber exploded in light. The black flas consud the room. And from the pit, a voice echoed:

Back on the Surface

Ceryn looked to the sky.

A red pillar of light erupted from beneath the city. Myra covered her mouth. Kael dropped his blade.

"He did it," Ceryn whispered.

Then she smiled.

"No—he beca it."

Wraithspine was burning, but it wasn’t dying.

Not yet.

The crimson light pouring from the depths painted the ruins with a devilish glow—flas that didn’t scorch but changed what they touched. Stones began to hum. Shadows bowed.

At the epicenter, the lift shaft ruptured open.

And from it—Elias erged.

No longer cloaked in mortal uncertainty.

Now... he walked like he ruled the void.

---

The Bloodbound Sovereign

His cloak was shredded and replaced by living fla that pulsed with infernal sigils. Horns, faint but glowing, curled back through his hair. His eyes? Still blue—but with rings of red orbiting them like cots of wrath. His skin shimred with runic scars, etchings of his trial burned into his flesh.

The mont his boots touched the broken earth, the air shifted.

Kael fell back on one knee instinctively.

Ceryn’s breath caught in her throat.

And Myra whispered, "That’s not just Elias..."

"No," Ceryn said quietly. "That’s a king."

Zenith Retreats

Far across the ruins, Zenith stood atop the ruined sanctum spire.

He watched Elias’s transformation, eyes narrowing.

His own armor cracked.

His own breath caught—just slightly.

He turned to the empty air beside him. "He’s coming."

From the void shimred a silhouette—the Pri Seraph. A being so blinding that the world warped around it.

"Then it’s ti," it said.

"Ti for what?"

"To awaken the Creator Protocols."

Zenith clenched his fists. "So we’re going to unchain the last failsafe?"

"Either that... or burn."

---

Rebellion Rising

Elias returned to the Crimson Sanctum, greeted by cheers and disbelief. Rebels gathered, still bloodied from their losses, but their eyes now held fire.

The Sovereign had returned.

And with him—a chance.

Ceryn led him into the war chamber, tossing aside the outdated maps and holding up a small obsidian orb.

"This... is a celestial gateway key. You unlock this, and we’re not just fighting for sectors anymore."

"We’re bringing the war to the throne," Elias said.

Kael laughed. "You’re mad."

"I’m sovereign now," Elias said, teeth flashing. "I don’t need permission."

The Plan

Elias gathered his lieutenants.

"We attack within three days," he said. "They’re retreating for now, but that’s temporary. If we don’t press this advantage, we’ll never get it again."

"We don’t even know how many gates there are," Myra warned.

"I know where the Pri Vault is," Elias said. "And I know how to breach it."

Kael blinked. "How?"

Elias lifted a blood-red crystal from his chest. "Because I made this place."

The room fell silent.

Ceryn stepped forward. "What?"

"I was El’Azar once. I helped build the first codes of the System. I rember now."

"And what else do you rember?" she asked.

"...That the Pri Vault doesn’t just hold weapons."

He looked up, voice low and deadly.

"It holds the Devil Codex. The origin of all forbidden power. If we take it... we don’t just break the System. We can remake it."

---

anwhile – The Creator Protocol Awakens

Deep in the Celestial Core, a cage split.

Out walked a humanoid figure with no face—only glowing cracks of light leaking from its skin.

Its body was made of code. Of law. Of rules.

It was the First Enforcer.

It had no na.

It did not bleed.

It only followed one command:

> "Erase the Sovereign."
