"Attention, people! I have an announcent to make!"
At dusk, on the bustling streets of Fuyuki City, Fang Mo's voice suddenly rang out without warning.
Leaning on a podium, his expression was resolute and impassioned, though the pendant hanging from his ear glead with a chaotic, otherworldly light.
Originally, a film crew had been set up in the area—a local TV station's outdoor news crew. But out of nowhere, Fang Mo appeared, hijacking the caras to begin a spontaneous speech. Luckily for him, the crew on-site were all his fans, so no one tried to stop him.
In fact, no one wanted to stop him.
As soon as Fang Mo appeared on cara, the viewership skyrocketed.
Viewers at ho thought this was so kind of bonus segnt or a scripted part of the show. Enthralled, they began calling their friends to watch the pri minister’s unexpected speech.
The people gathered in the streets transford into enthusiastic fans, cheering and waving banners.
"I am A-san, your new pri minister."
"But honestly, I don't care much for this title because I'm just an ordinary person."
"Like many of you, I’m simply a mortal—a commoner with dreams, yearning for a brighter future. So please, don't turn into a god."
"I hope to help those in poverty, to give everyone the chance to create their own happiness through hard work. I hope businesses stop exploiting workers, that bullying in schools ends, and that governnts slow down for us citizens, so we can visit our parents and enjoy the beauty in life. Above all, I hope to see a future without oppression or injustice... 'cough, cough'!"
Fang Mo suddenly coughed violently mid-speech.
"Pri Minister, are you alright?"
One of the staff mbers imdiately called out with concern, "Please take care of yourself!"
"Don't worry."
Fang Mo waved them off, signaling he was fine.
Then, his voice rose again with renewed vigor:
"I know, in this era, I am not alone in dreaming of such a future."
"But... this is not sothing I can achieve alone!"
"To reach true happiness, we must work together to create a future even more beautiful than our wildest dreams!"
"Those high above, those ruling from their golden thrones at the top of the pyramid... are you truly happy? Bound, corrupted, enslaved—do you even rember the dreams of your childhood? Even with all your earthly riches and power, in the end, you will beco nothing more than dust, right?"
"Only true honor will immortalize your na in history!"
"The achievents of the great will be eternal—that is true immortality!"
"So co! Let’s work together. Cast aside your arrogance and prejudice. Forget petty struggles over narrow interests. Aim for the stars! Let our descendants spread across the cosmos! Let humanity's glory shine brightest through us!" 𝑅ΑNՕ𝐛ËṠ
"Today, we are rely rulers."
"But tomorrow! We will beco the creators of a new era, bringing the gods down from heaven, and our deeds will be sung by all! Far beyond eternity... to the end of ti itself!"
"So, my friends."
"For happiness, for glory, for everything that is good and just—"
"Lay down your endless disputes. Quench the flas of war. Let us welco true peace."
"And if anyone is stubborn, if anyone insists on oppression, inciting division and enslavent, turning their bloody blades against our fellow citizens, then they are the enemies of all humanity! The Jews... 'cough' I an, those vile enemies must be annihilated!"
"..."
Rin Tohsaka stood below, listening to the speech in bewildernt, frozen in place.
"Brilliant! Amazing, Pri Minister!"
All around, the crowd was cheering wildly. They were under the influence of the pendant's power, so despite Fang Mo’s speech being riddled with contradictions and flawed logic, they could only respond with frenzied applause.
Though, for now, only the people of Fuyuki City could hear the speech.
Soon, through broadcasting platforms and internet communication, video clips, transcripts, and even audio recordings of the speech would spread worldwide.
And with it, the chaotic power of the Outer Gods would begin to expand in tic form, spreading through all available dia, corrupting minds across the globe—from ordinary citizens to elites and governnt leaders—until the whole world was irreversibly changed.
"Hey, you there!"
While Rin stood dazed, a man next to her suddenly turned and glared, "Why aren’t you clapping for the Pri Minister?"
"What?"
Rin was montarily stunned.
"Yeah, co on!"
The crowd around her began to grow hostile. "Clap your hands!"
"...Oh, right."
Realizing the danger, Rin quickly started clapping along with the others. But her gaze remained locked on Fang Mo, who continued his impassioned speech from the podium.
To be honest, Rin found so truth in Fang Mo’s words.
Humanity shouldn’t oppress or fight one another; that only made the world worse.
But the problem was... Rin couldn’t trust her own judgnt. She suspected that she, too, was under the influence of Fang Mo’s Black Emperor effect. After all, this man was a terrifying demon who had exterminated entire races and dominated Europe. She couldn’t allow herself to be swayed by his words—otherwise, the consequences would be disastrous.
With that thought, Rin made up her mind.
She quietly pulled a red scarf from her coat and used it to cover the lower half of her face. While continuing to clap along with the crowd, she slowly inched her way toward Fang Mo’s side.
"Excellent! Such energy!"
Fang Mo, pretending not to notice Rin’s approach, smiled warmly at the crowd. "Well then, let just—"
BANG!
Out of nowhere, the sound of a gunshot echoed through the streets.
"?!"
Imdiately, the crowd was startled, all eyes turning toward the source of the noise. Fang Mo, too, ‘instinctively’ turned to face the direction the shot had co from.
And in that split second, Rin fired again.
BANG!!!
The strange gun in her hand thundered once more, and the bullet tore through the air, slamming directly into Fang Mo’s chest.
Since the weapon ca from the Imperial Treasury, this gun—called 'Ambacher'—was a powerful Noble Phantasm. A cloud of blood exploded from Fang Mo’s back as the bullet punched through his body.
Without a mont's delay, Fang Mo collapsed to the ground.
Blood poured from his body, pooling rapidly beneath him. The amount of blood was staggering, like soone had dumped a bucketful onto the street.
"This!"
"What happened!?"
"Pri Minister! Noooo!!!"
Panic instantly spread through the streets. Caran, bystanders—everyone was thrown into chaos. So people scattered in all directions, while others rushed forward to try and help.
But there was another group...
"Seize her!"
Soone shouted, and the crowd erupted into a frenzy.
Hundreds of civilians and crew mbers, their eyes glowing red with rage, charged at Rin. Those closest tried to grab her, to pin her to the ground.
"This is bad..."
Rin started to panic. These were ordinary people—she couldn’t use magic against them.
"Rin!"
From a distance, Saber called out, clearly anxious. She, too, hesitated to harm innocent civilians, and her injuries made it impossible to help. All she could do was shout in frustration.
Suddenly, a voice rang out from the podium.
"Everyone… everyone stop!"
"Huh?"
"Is that... the Pri Minister!?"
The crowd froze in place, recognizing Fang Mo’s voice. Slowly, they turned their attention back toward him.
By this point, so of the bystanders had helped Fang Mo to his feet and were leading him toward a black car.
"I’ve said everything I needed to say," Fang Mo muttered calmly, clutching his chest. "Everyone, disperse. Don’t stay here any longer. Whatever happens next, just wait for tomorrow’s news."
His voice carried an undeniable power, compelling those who heard it. The crowd’s expressions grew dazed, and, like puppets on strings, they began turning away, shuffling off in silence.
In no ti, Fang Mo was seated inside the black car.
But before the car could leave, the window rolled down. Rin glanced up, only to see Fang Mo beckoning her over.
"Is he…?"
After a mont’s hesitation, Rin decided to accept the invitation.
Naturally, Saber followed her inside, gripping Excalibur with wary eyes. Fang Mo was the most dangerous enemy they had ever faced—there was no way they could let their guard down.
The two of them stepped into the black limousine.
It was a luxurious, stretched car of an unknown make, with Rin and Saber now seated across from Fang Mo.
Rin imdiately began to scan her surroundings, and to her shock, she realized that the driver wasn’t just any staff mber. When the driver removed her hat, revealing a head of soft, fluffy orange hair, Rin gasped in surprise.
"F-Fujimaru? What are you doing here?"
"You’ll find out soon enough."
Fujimaru Ritsuka smiled but didn’t offer any further explanation.
Fang Mo, on the other hand, seed completely drenched in blood from his gunshot wound. He looked ‘weak’ as he turned his gaze toward Rin.
"Ah, my dear Rin."
"You…"
Rin’s expression was conflicted as she stared at him.
"It seems I’ve lost." Fang Mo sighed softly. "No matter how hard I try, my empire is destined to fail."
"It’s good that you understand that."
Looking at Fang Mo, Rin felt a small pang of sympathy. Despite everything, he looked utterly defeated—pale, bleeding, with a gaping hole in his chest. "You’ve lost. Just return to the Throne of Heroes and never co back."
"Cough, Rin…"
Fang Mo coughed weakly before speaking again. "I know you must hate , but… do you know why I did all of this?"
"Why?"
Rin asked instinctively, her curiosity piqued. There were so many mysteries surrounding Fang Mo.
"The standard Holy Grail War has seven classes: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker," Fang Mo began to explain. "But I was summoned as an eighth class—'Avenger', the class of vengeance."
"...What?"
Rin was stunned. "Avenger?"
"Yes. Do you rember the explosion when you activated the summoning circle?" Fang Mo nodded ‘weakly.’ "That was caused by your ritual being out of sync, which led to the summoning of two Servants at once. I purposely replaced Archer because you would never have accepted as 'Avenger'. That’s the truth."
"Why wouldn’t I have accepted your class?"
Rin asked, confused.
"Because…"
Just as Fang Mo was about to continue, the car suddenly lurched violently.
Bang, bang, bang!
Several golden weapons suddenly pierced through the car’s exterior. One of them—a sword—stabbed directly into Fang Mo’s mouth, its force slamming his head into the seat behind him.
"Watch out, Rin!"
Saber quickly raised her sword to deflect another incoming weapon, but it sliced deep into her shoulder.
"Ha ha ha! You mongrels!"
A familiar voice rang out from outside, unmistakably belonging to Gilgash. "You dared to wound so grievously before, forcing to resort to a sneak attack! I’ll wash away that disgrace with your deaths!"
"Him!?"
Rin's heart sank as she glanced out the car window.
Perched on a nearby lamppost, Gilgash brandished a terrifying red weapon, the segnts of its blade spinning rapidly. Waves of destructive energy were building around it.
"This ti, I won’t give you any chance to escape!"
Without hesitation, Gilgash swung 'Ea', the Sword of Rupture.
"Enuma Elish!"
"It's over..."
Rin’s face turned pale, and for the first ti, she felt a deep, overwhelming sense of despair.
But before she could react, an intense pressure filled the car. The overwhelming force made Rin’s heart race with fear, and when she turned, she saw that it was coming from Fang Mo.
Without saying a word, Fang Mo pulled out a colossal bow, seemingly crafted from the stars themselves.
He drew back the bowstring, aid, and fired in one fluid motion.
As soon as he let go, a wave of blinding light erupted from the bow, carrying with it the force to obliterate everything in its path. The sheer magnitude of the attack forced Gilgash's 'Ea' back, and in an instant, the destructive power he had unleashed was sent hurtling back toward him.
This ti, Fang Mo’s aim was perfect.
Gilgash had no ti to react.
"No… it can’t be!?"
The King of Heroes scread in disbelief. "You were supposed to be dying! How can you possibly unleash such an attack—!?"
His words were cut off as his body was completely engulfed by the blinding light.
The massive wave of energy ripped through the spot where Gilgash had stood, carving through the sky above the city, slicing through the clouds and the atmosphere, leaving behind a massive, gaping hole in the sky that extended all the way into space.
For a long mont, the black void remained in the heavens, refusing to close.
"..."
Fang Mo quietly lowered his bow, his face devoid of expression. He turned to look at Rin and Saber, both of whom were staring at him in shock.
He wiped his face, exhausted.
"Do you want to keep playing?"
Just then, Fujimaru Ritsuka, sitting in the driver’s seat, chid in. "I can keep going if you’d like.”
