Throughout the journey, Daniel finally understood why Aurelia had chosen to seal Isabella away all those years ago. Isabella was simply too annoying. In the short span of just a few minutes, she had asked him no less than a hundred questions. There was even a mont when Daniel considered whether he should lock her back in the ti corridor.
Of course, it was just a fleeting thought. After all, aside from being a bit noisy, Isabella didn’t present any major issues. It wasn’t worth offending a Demigod Rank powerhouse over sothing so trivial.
So, Daniel chose to ignore Isabella’s questions, as if she didn’t exist at all.
However, his disregard only made Isabella even more curious. She practically glued herself to Daniel’s side, continuing to ask him questions without stopping. Daniel, on the other hand, acted as if he hadn’t heard a thing and kept walking ahead.
Fortunately, the journey was much faster than Daniel had anticipated. Of course, part of the reason for this was that Daniel had quietly used a speed-enhancing God Rank Skill.
Finally, after what felt like a much shorter ti than expected, Daniel arrived in front of the ice shard once again. At that mont, he sensed the presence of a Demigod, and as he used his Eye of Insight, he pinpointed the location of the Monolith Mask.
Daniel also realized that Monolith Mask was one of the forr devotees of the Luck Goddess and was also a Demigod carefully trained by Luke.
At this mont, Monolith Mask hadn’t noticed Daniel’s arrival. He was staring at the ice shard, his face etched with a look of confusion.
"Why did Daryl suddenly disappear? Where should I go to save her?"
"This... seems like a very difficult problem!"
"Who can co help ? Daryl is in danger! But it seems I can’t do anything about it."
Daniel could feel the imnse anxiety and even the faint despair in Monolith Mask’s heart. He had considered praying to the Luck Goddess for divine assistance, but his prayers had received no response from her.
Daniel could sense that Monolith Mask was currently very agitated and anxious. He had already tried touching the ice shard, but it had no effect.
At that mont, Daniel’s gaze turned toward the ice shard. As he activated his God Rank Skill, the scene that had unfolded earlier appeared before his eyes, clear as day. He could now see exactly how Daryl had disappeared.
At the sa ti, as Isabella’s presence beca noticeable, Monolith Mask finally sensed Daniel’s arrival. He imdiately turned to look in Daniel’s direction.
But in just a mont, his gaze was completely drawn to Isabella.
Her flawless, otherworldly beauty captivated him; even a Demigod was not immune to it, and even gods would secretly covet such a sight.
Monolith Mask clearly felt his blood pressure rise. Almost instantly, he used a ntal Guard skill to strengthen his resistance to temptation.
However, even with this, he found his rationality slipping away as Isabella’s powerful allure wore him down.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Daniel’s figure. At that mont, he saw Daniel raise his hand lightly, and a faint beam of light, irresistible in its nature, shot into Monolith Mask’s mind.
In the next instant, Monolith Mask’s mind began to clear. He could feel his resistance to Isabella’s allure dramatically increase. This newfound clarity brought his rationality back, though he was still amazed by Isabella’s beauty.
But the overwhelming urge to worship her had vanished.
On the other side, Isabella, seeing that Daniel had taken action, squinted her eyes, her gaze narrowing like a crescent moon. She covered her mouth, giggling softly.
"Little brother, what are you afraid of?"
"Let guess... Are you jealous? Seeing so many people chasing after , are you upset?"
"Don’t worry, little brother, I’ll be obedient and stay by your side as your forbidden fruit!"
Isabella’s voice entered Daniel’s mind, the words only ant for him to hear.
Daniel, feeling helpless, could only roll his eyes at Isabella, then turned his attention to Monolith Mask, who was now on high alert.
At that mont, Monolith Mask was feeling intense nervousness. Since becoming a Demigod Rank, he hadn’t felt this completely out of control in many years.
If it hadn’t been for the powerful presence that had helped him just now, he likely would have already fallen under Isabella’s spell.
Realizing this, Monolith Mask felt cold sweat dripping down his body.
But the next mont, he noticed Daniel’s appearance, and a look of surprise appeared on his face.
"Lord Crossbridge, is it really you?"
Hearing his na spoken by Monolith Mask caused Daniel to pause for a mont. He was surprised and looked at Monolith Mask, asking in a slightly puzzled tone:
"How did you recognize ?"
Monolith Mask respectfully bowed his head.
"It was Luck Goddess’s arrangent."
"She had already inford that you would be here, and that I should obey all of your commands."
Daniel nodded slightly. It seed that Luke had anticipated all of this. He knew that Monolith Mask had entered the Godfall Battlefield to seek the opportunity to beco a god.
"I need these ice shards," Daniel said without wasting any ti, his tone direct.
With that, Daniel imdiately activated his God of Thieves dagger. Without any hesitation, he lightly sliced at the ice shard in front of him. The space seed to tear open.
The previously intact ice shard was instantly divided into exactly 128 pieces.
In the next mont, these 128 pieces of ice began to float on their own and reassemble in midair. They gradually ca together, forming a single crystal-clear shard that emitted the aura of Infinity Possibility.
Ice of Possibility.
Daniel nodded again. This matched his earlier guess completely.
His gaze grew sharper as he prepared to absorb the Ice of Possibility and combine it into the God Rank Skill Infinity Possibility.
Monolith Mask, seeing Daniel’s actions, felt the respectful expression on his face turn into one of grave concern. He quickly stepped forward and spoke urgently.
"My Lord, please be careful!"
"Once this ice shard is fully reford, it will summon an extrely powerful monster!"
"That monster is also known as the... Ice of Possibility!"
Daniel, hearing this, simply nodded in acknowledgnt.
"I know."
He didn’t even look back. Instead, he gave Isabella a look. Isabella imdiately understood and prepared to assist as needed.
