"Indeed, once I leave this place, it will no longer serve any purpose," Daniel muttered to himself.
"Even if I use a God Rank Skill to preserve it, the effect will still be the sa."
Daniel scratched his head, then realized the source of the problem. If the blue sand couldn’t be preserved, then it ant that if Daniel wanted to gain the benefits provided by the Miracle Sands, he would only have a re three minutes of active ti.
However...
Daniel never intended to follow the standard course of action.
After all, the Miracle Sands didn’t cover a very large area. He could just use his Myriad Worlds Mastery to take control of it, right?
With that thought, Daniel raised his hand, and a faint purple energy slowly spread across the entire Miracle Sands. Within a few minutes, the entire domain of the Miracle Sands had fallen under his control.
Daniel nodded in satisfaction and then directly pulled the Miracle Sands into his ntal world.
"Such a rare thing should not be missed. If I let it go, that would be too unfortunate!" Daniel thought as he smiled.
anwhile, Daniel’s clone had already entered his ntal world. He walked into the range of the Miracle Sands, then without a second thought, laid down on the sand as if lounging on a beach.
At the sa ti, that familiar sensation of the basic mode returned to Daniel’s being. His luck point also soared back to 12 points!
"This feels great!" Daniel thought, basking in the feeling, when suddenly, within the range of his mind power, a blurry figure wearing a robe appeared before him.
Although the face was indistinguishable, Daniel could feel that the person’s strength was at the Demigod Rank.
Daniel couldn’t help but wonder—why would a Demigod Rank co to him just as his luck point increased? Was this connected to the boost in luck?
As these thoughts swirled in his mind, he used his Eye of Insight to observe the figure’s details.
[Soros]
Level: 1000
Tier: Demigod Rank
Description: A devotee nurtured by Faer, with the potential to beco a god. He has signed a pact with the Ancient God and gained power from them.
After reading the panel, Daniel couldn’t help but furrow his brow.
This was the first ti he had encountered another Demigod Rank since arriving at the Godfall Battlefield.
But...
To his shock, this Soros was actually nurtured by Faer?
Did this an Faer had decided to make a deal with the Ancient God? Daniel frowned slightly. He was quite surprised by this. He didn’t agree with Faer’s path, but he had no reason to interfere. After all, even Daniel himself was still at the Fake God level, and the matter of becoming a real god was still far beyond his reach.
At that mont, Soros stood before Daniel, casually sizing him up.
Daniel, in turn, used Psychic Perception to probe Soros’s intentions—wondering why a person bound to the Ancient Gods would approach him.
"According to our agreent, I’ve already dealt with those two Luck Goddess devotees. After they died, my chance of becoming a god should have increased significantly," Soros muttered to himself, unaware of Daniel’s keen perception.
"Next, my plan is to disrupt the Godfall Battlefield. I must create chaos and force the gods to stumble first. Only when they are in disarray will the battlefield truly be lost."
"Once the inner gods can enter, I can enlist their help to ascend to godhood."
"Teacher, you are too stubborn. The path I am taking is the true way to beco a god!"
Daniel felt the weight of Soros’s words, his lips curling into a faint grimace.
He had never expected that a devotee chosen by Faer would turn out to be an ambitious man who had sold his soul to the Ancient Gods.
In so ways, Soros could be considered a traitor, or even an insider working against the very people he swore allegiance to.
Daniel wondered whether Faer knew about this. Judging by Faer’s refusal to allow the inner gods to invade, it seed unlikely that Faer was aware of Soros’s actions.
Still, regardless of what Faer knew, Daniel wouldn’t let this go unchecked.
Of course, Daniel didn’t intend to engage in an all-out battle with Soros at this mont. Thanks to Mist, Soros actually saw Daniel as a regular figure, unaware of his true identity.
"Strange... Did the Miracle Sands change locations?" Soros murmured, confused.
"Should I ask this human? He looks so weak; maybe he’s soone randomly teleported by an unstable rift in space-ti."
To beings of God Rank, even a Demigod was little more than an insignificant ant. Soros barely paid attention to Daniel, treating him as no more than an afterthought.
anwhile, Daniel had already begun preparing his plan of action. Just a mont ago, he had used ntal Deduction to map out his strategy.
Although Soros was a powerful Demigod Rank, Daniel was confident that he could defeat him in the shortest amount of ti, as long as he didn’t give Soros the opportunity to fight back.
Daniel steeled himself and unleashed his ultimate move.
[Domain Ultimate Skill: Ruin of the Gods]
Effect: Shatters a God Rank Skill, dealing significant damage to the target’s divine authority. Once the divine authority is damaged beyond a certain point, the target’s powers will be temporarily sealed.
Yes, Daniel was using Ruin of the Gods.
And he had long since prepared the shattered God Rank Skill scrolls, collecting nurous Demigod and Fake God souls over ti. He had gathered enough materials that his backpack was overflowing.
Now was the ti to use them!
Daniel even arranged for a clone to handle the synthesis of the God Rank Skill scrolls, while his main body proceeded with shattering them.
As his domain expanded and the Shatter of Gods was activated, Daniel could clearly feel Soros’s divine authority being stripped away.
Though the power taken wasn’t of much use to Daniel, it did serve to greatly reduce Soros’s ability to resist.
Despite being strong among Demigod Rank beings, Soros was severely weakened by the broken God Rank Skill scrolls. While Daniel didn’t fully shatter Soros’s divine authority, he had certainly weakened him to the point where Soros would be much less of a threat.
After feeling that the effects of Shatter of Gods were reaching their limit, Daniel halted the procedure.
Without hesitation, Daniel summoned Isabella.
In fact, before Daniel even made his move, he had already communicated his plan to Isabella, fully briefing her on the situation.
So, before Soros had ti to react, Isabella appeared before him, prepared to assist in executing the next phase of Daniel’s plan.
