With one portal after another opening, the figures of Daniel and Milla flashed swiftly across the stormy sea.
Daniel was running his efficiency at the absolute limit.
Every one of his avatars had been dispatched, spreading outward to explore this vast world as quickly as possible.
At this mont, Daniel even felt that the number of avatars he possessed was far from enough.
The imnsity of this world had already surpassed his imagination by an unimaginable margin.
With the amount of avatars he currently controlled, it was basically impossible to conduct a swift exploration of the entire world.
But the key problem was that Daniel did not have much ti left.
He still had to complete the Star Upgrade Quest as soon as possible, and raise his own level.
Once his level increased, the effects of the God Rank Skills he possessed would also beco significantly stronger.
At his current level, he could not even display the full might of his God Rank Skills.
That was why, as long as he completed the Star Upgrade Quest, Daniel would be able to create even more avatars.
After finishing this round of the Star Upgrade Quest, the number of avatars he could summon would directly double.
When that ti ca, the pressure he was facing would clearly beco much lighter.
Even so, Daniel was still unsure if doubling the number of avatars would be enough.
anwhile, Milla, who was beside him, had fallen into a state of numbness.
She had beco like nothing more than a tool for opening portals, continuously opening and closing them without even a mont’s rest.
"Um... Lord Daniel, are you certain you don’t want to take a look around the surroundings?"
Daniel simply shook his head and urged her on.
"Don’t waste ti, keep moving forward."
Milla’s lips twitched slightly.
She truly could not understand why Daniel’s deanor now was such a stark contrast to before.
Even so, Milla would not ask further, for in her eyes, this matter had nothing to do with her.
As a devotee of the Luck Goddess, her duty was only to go with the flow of fate.
As for other things, she would neither question nor harbor any intention of interfering.
...
Deep beneath the stormy sea, Daniel passed through a narrow underwater cavern, eventually arriving before the ancient deep-sea portal.
Under normal circumstances, opening a portal that led to another plane would require the corresponding token.
But to Daniel, this was not a difficult matter at all.
With the Universal Gauntlet in hand, he could open the portal before him without the need for any token.
However, to his surprise, this ancient deep-sea portal was sowhat unusual.
Although he felt as if it was right before his eyes, no matter how he approached, a certain distance still seed to remain between them.
Thus Daniel could only keep advancing forward, and before he realized it, two full hours had already passed.
Yet even then, he still felt as though the underwater cavern stretched endlessly without bottom.
Could it be that this cavern actually possessed infinite depth, much like the settings of the abyss?
Daniel pondered for a mont but did not imdiately ask for Milla’s assistance.
Instead, he maintained his current pace and pressed on.
As for the monsters encountered along the way, they were all swiftly dispatched by Lulin the mont they crossed paths.
To avoid waste, Daniel also gathered their souls.
On this journey, Daniel had already co across many different types of monsters.
And the creatures of the outside world were not only stronger, but the loot they carried was also far richer.
Of course, to the present Daniel, such loot had little actual use.
Even so, he continued collecting their souls, intending to create a specialized training area once he returned.
What made him feel sowhat regretful, however, was that he had only managed to obtain silver-rank monster souls on this trip, and had not acquired any of gold rank.
Strictly speaking, Daniel had in fact seen many gold-rank monsters.
But those gold-rank beings were either the "New Life" created by the Artists, or pets that had been raised to that level through Divine Incubation.
When it ca to truly wild gold-rank monsters, he had never once seen any, nor even heard of their existence.
...
On the crystal island, Daniel used the Universal Gauntlet to break the seal on a storage chamber.
The sealing on this chamber was extrely complex.
Daniel could not even comprehend the runes inscribed upon it, for they belonged to no civilization he was familiar with.
Even so, opening it was no challenge to him—he simply relied on the Universal Gauntlet.
During the span of those two hours, Daniel and Milla had already explored several different regions.
But the sheer vastness of this world was overwhelming.
Even with all his efforts, in just two hours Daniel had managed to uncover only the tiniest fraction—rely the tip of the iceberg.
Unless he could truly find a way to freeze ti itself, or cast Ti Stream infinitely and use Flashback to refresh locations, it would otherwise be impossible to cover everything.
At that mont, Milla suddenly spoke from beside him.
"Lord Daniel, the sun Apollo seems about to rise. If we head back now, it should still be in ti.
The sun of the Origin Land is not easy to deal with.
If you wish to continue traveling, we can simply kill the sun Apollo first. That way, no one will disturb our journey."
Daniel heard these words and gave a small nod.
"All right."
In truth, Daniel had never intended to fully explore this world in a re two hours.
After confirming the ti, Daniel unhesitatingly used Ti Stream.
...
When Daniel next opened his eyes, he had returned to the mont just after he left the Exile Plane.
"Lord Daniel, you actually ca out of the Exile Plane so quickly!
I never thought you would return even faster than you did from the ntal Plane!"
Daniel nodded lightly and then spoke.
"Milla, I need your help with a few things."
"I’ll trouble you to take to Silent Castle, the Dark Strand, the Desert of Ti..."
Daniel listed a series of place nas once more, though this ti they were completely different from before.
What he intended now was to continue unlocking new maps.
Upon hearing his request, Milla gave a slight nod.
"These locations—I can only say I’ll try my best to take you there.
But Lord Daniel, as for the Desert of Ti, I do not even know where it is.
Can you tell where you heard of it?"
Daniel shook his head.
"I don’t know. Is that detail important?"
"It isn’t important, I was only asking casually. If you’re ready, then let’s set out now.
But I should warn you in advance—so of these places lie very far apart, and we might not be able to reach them all.
Still, I will do my utmost to guide you to them."
Daniel nodded in response.
"All right, then I must trouble you."
