Chapter 617: Chapter 617: The Note for Help
On the ship.
As soon as Chu Yin boarded the ship, she felt sothing was off. Fortunately, there were other people on board.
Bai Zhengxian, the kind of gentleman on the surface, should have no interest in causing a scene in front of others.
She sat down calmly and curiously asked, “President Bai, why did you bring onto the ship? My leg is still injured, I can’t be exposed to moisture.”
Chu Yin had a naturally delicate and pitiable deanor. As long as she didn’t speak carelessly, anything she said could easily stir others’ compassion.
Except for Sang Li.
Bai Zhengxian looked at her seriously and patted the seat next to him.
“Why sit so far away? Since you’ve agreed, there’s no need to put on an act.”
Bai Zhengxian saw through Chu Yin’s facade.
Chu Yin pressed her lips, realizing that her current deanor might not be what Bai Zhengxian wanted.
After contemplating for a mont, she rembered Bai Zhengxian’s gaze when he took Lin Zhiyi’s call in the car.
In an instant, she retracted her timid deanor.
Sitting up straight, she crossed her arms, keeping a cautious distance from Bai Zhengxian.
“Then President Bai should know why I agreed. I never wanted to co; you leaked blackmail online to force ! Since President Bai disapproves, dock the boat, and I’ll leave now!”
Bai Zhengxian stared at Chu Yin for a long ti, then smiled.
“You’re more interesting this way.”
Chu Yin turned away and said nothing.
She knew she had made the right gamble.
Bai Zhengxian wasn’t interested in her, but in her resemblance to Lin Zhiyi.
No matter how alike others looked, they couldn’t imitate Lin Zhiyi’s spirit.
She was different.
Even after putting on makeup, she only resembled her by three or four tenths, but she had been imitating Lin Zhiyi for over three years.
If you didn’t look at the face, her actions and deanor could almost be deceivingly similar.
Though she avoided a disaster, Chu Yin was still on edge.
The flesh on her arm was nearly bruised from her own pinching.
Bai Zhengxian’s smile was more unsettling than his stoic expression.
Every pore on Chu Yin’s body scread with fear.
She even thought Bai Zhengxian might kill her.
She gazed at the vast ocean, her fear deepening.
After a standoff, three n erged from the cabin, each dressed seemingly respectably, holding a drink in one hand and a bikini-clad beauty in the other.
Chu Yin looked up and noticed the bikini beauties in their arms were all very young.
They swayed from side to side, limp as if drunk, while the n groped and fondled them.
Chu Yin reacted quickly, instantly realizing sothing was wrong with their state of mind.
Noticing one man staring at her, she quickly withdrew her gaze.
Chu Yin recognized the man, also a well-known gentleman in Jing City.
Unexpectedly…
The man said, “President Bai, replacing soone? Or are you capable of getting us a change?”
Bai Zhengxian smiled, “Sure, once the cruise ship sets sail, you’ll be the first guests, and I’ll treat you well.”
“No need to wait, I find this one quite fine,” the man pointed at Chu Yin.
Chu Yin glanced at Bai Zhengxian, stubborn but unyielding.
Bai Zhengxian enjoyed this act, imdiately intercepting the approaching man.
“Next ti.”
No matter how well Chu Yin could act, those three words shocked her.
It didn’t matter whether it was her or Lin Zhiyi; both could easily be discarded.
The man gave face to Bai Zhengxian and turned back to cling to the bikini beauty.
Chu Yin tried to calm herself down, lifting her head again to find the bikini beauty looking at her desperately.
The next second, she was tossed into the middle of the deck by the man.
“Dance, can you gyrate?”
The bikini beauty wore skimpy clothing, and any large movent would lead to exposure.
Chu Yin initially thought these won wore this in winter to earn money, willing to sacrifice more than herself.
But watching their stiff movents, it was obviously not the case.
The man, feeling bored, grabbed a woman’s chin and forced her mouth open, pouring alcohol inside.
“Cold? Here’s sothing to warm you up.”
“Ah… mmph mmph…”
Soon after, the woman, seemingly oblivious to the cold, began gyrating wildly on the deck. The fine straps at her waist were already coming undone.
Seeing the straps about to co loose, Chu Yin imdiately stood up.
She imitated Lin Zhiyi’s tone and shouted, “Enough! President Bai, if you brought here just to scare , it’s unnecessary.”
Chu Yin’s voice drowned out the music.
Bai Zhengxian raised his hand to signal for the music to be stopped, then smiled at Chu Yin.
“Alright, no need to be angry; I just wanted to get you used to the ship. When the new ship sets sail, I’ll be on board for a while, and you’ll accompany .”
“On the ship?” Chu Yin asked suspiciously.
“You’ll know when the ti cos.” He waved his hand, coolly addressing the three won, “Go inside.”
“Yes.”
The three of them wrapped their bodies and walked toward the cabin, one of them glancing at Chu Yin.
Chu Yin saw but could only pretend not to notice.
She understood the current situation clearly.
Bai Zhengxian was testing her to see if she had truly agreed to his terms.
She couldn’t reveal anything.
Bai Zhengxian, seeing her expressionless, didn’t think much about it either.
After a while, one of the n, having drunk enough, got up, smiled at the others, and turned into the cabin.
A few minutes later, a woman’s crying was heard from inside.
Chu Yin clenched her fist, thought for a mont, and then pressed her fist against her stomach.
“Ugh…”
She leaned against the railing and vomited.
Bai Zhengxian frowned, “What’s the matter?”
Chu Yin covered her mouth, “I, I get seasick and couldn’t hold it in.”
Her eyes glistened with moisture, invoking pity.
Bai Zhengxian stood up and said to the others, “Let’s head back.”
The cabin fell silent, and the man with alcohol on his breath walked out.
Bai Zhengxian pointed to Chu Yin, “You should rest inside for a while.”
“Alright.”
Chu Yin covered her nose and mouth as she entered the cabin.
Inside, the three won quickly pulled blankets over themselves and sat at the farthest end.
Chu Yin ignored them and closed her eyes to rest.
When they docked, Chu Yin got up to leave, one of the won suddenly rushed over and stuffed a piece of paper into her hand.
“Sorry, miss, I lost my balance.”
“It’s fine.”
Chu Yin nodded, then turned and walked out of the cabin.
The woman behind her stared at her for a long ti.
Off the ship, Bai Zhengxian glanced at her.
“What’s wrong? You seem distracted.”
“It’s nothing, I just want to go back.” Chu Yin responded indifferently.
“Get in the car then.”
Before getting in the car, Chu Yin directly threw the paper in her hand onto the ground.
After the car started, Bai Zhengxian’s phone buzzed.
He glanced at Chu Yin and then opened the ssage.
“President Bai, she threw away the rescue note.”
“Alright.”
After putting away his phone, Bai Zhengxian was visibly in a much better mood.
“I have an apartnt in the city center, I’ll have soone take you there tomorrow.”
Chu Yin didn’t answer, her fingertips digging into her palm.
The old fox was really shrewd!
Fortunately, she was cautious. When that woman handed her the note, she slled the perfu on that woman.
Coincidentally, one of the celebrity guests filming a variety show used that sa perfu to create a wealthy persona.
During the two-day show shoot, everyone knew that the perfu used by the guest cost over twenty thousand.
Soone using a perfu costing over twenty thousand asking Chu Yin for help?
Chu Yin almost wanted to kneel down and bow to her.
She went on the ship because she was broke!
Bai Zhengxian was clearly still testing her, confident that she wouldn’t dare act out, so he let her move into the apartnt.
Facing such a smiling tiger.
Chu Yin even found her breathing beca cautious.
She was scared.
Suddenly, her phone, regaining signal, buzzed.
Looking at the incoming call, she seed to see hope.
“President Bai, it’s Zhiyi’s call.”
“Answer it.”
