“What did you have for lunch?”
“I ate with everyone… just steak, from a nearby steakhouse that’s really good. Once I get my salary, I’ll treat you.”
“Okay.”
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now, or it’ll disturb others.”
“Alright.”
After hanging up, Lin Zhiyi sighed in relief and resud eating her takeout.
She didn’t notice a car parked under the shade of the opposite tree.
The person inside was watching her.
Inside the car.
Chen Jin turned and asked, “Third Young Master, should I go get Miss Lin?”
Gong Chen raised his hand to interrupt, “No need. Her silence ans she doesn’t want to help. With her proud character, she wouldn’t want to see her in this state.”
“Should I let President Xue know?”
“No need, let her handle it herself.”
Gong Chen said to let Lin Zhiyi handle it herself.
But watching her eat unappetizing takeout at this hour, his dark eyes gradually narrowed.
His fists clenched, restraining the urge to barge into the studio.
A mont later, Lin Zhiyi disposed of her finished takeout, wiped her mouth, and returned to the studio.
Gong Chen loosened his fists and turned to Chen Jin: “Have that newly opened restaurant at the corner prepare a private room for tonight.”

Bai Ruoshu turned and left.
In the end, Bai Ruoshu had an important client appointnt in the afternoon and left directly.
Lin Zhiyi was annoyed, knowing full well that Bai Ruoshu did it on purpose.

Gong Chen said calmly, “You said it was good, so I made a reservation. Let’s go in.”
