After leaving the hospital, Lin Zhiyi took a taxi to the Sang Group branch office building.
She checked the ti; Sang Li said he had a eting in the afternoon that would last about two hours.
The timing was perfect, but she waited for about five minutes before sending him a ssage.
“eting over?”
“About to wrap up, what’s up?” Sang Li replied.
“Ca to pick up my boyfriend after work.”
After sending the ssage, Lin Zhiyi also took a photo of herself with the building and sent it to Sang Li.
Sang Li replied instantly, “Coming right away.”
Seeing the ssage, Lin Zhiyi smiled faintly and looked up at the beautiful sunset.
Soon after, Sang Li exited the building.
“Why didn’t you co in and wait?” He reached out to feel the warmth of Lin Zhiyi’s hand.
Lin Zhiyi was about to respond when she saw quite a few people walking out of the building; she instinctively pulled her hand back.
This was also the reason she didn’t wait inside; there would definitely be people asking who she was and who she was looking for.
She didn’t know how to answer.
Sang Li noticed her hesitation and took her hand again, nodding and smiling at the other people.
“My girlfriend.”

Changing the topic, Sang Li asked, “How was the follow-up today?”
“It’s okay, just need to recover slowly,” Lin Zhiyi replied lightly, not wanting others to worry about her.
“That’s good, where would you like to go next?”
Lin Zhiyi took out her phone: “I booked movie tickets.”
Sang Li glanced at the movie title: “Are you sure about this one?”
“Sci-fi film, it’s said to be particularly suitable for couples online, and I made sure to check the reviews,” Lin Zhiyi affird.
Sang Li nodded thoughtfully: “A sci-fi film for couples, interesting.”
“Let’s go, let’s eat first.”
Lin Zhiyi took Sang Li and got into the car.
After dinner, with half an hour left before the movie, they decided to stroll around the shopping mall below the cinema.
Lin Zhiyi purposely bought two cups of new milk tea to drink while watching the movie.

Everyone is an adult, and having been in relationships before isn’t sothing to be worried about.
Lin Zhiyi is very beautiful and has an easy-going personality, so she must have had many suitors.
Lin Zhiyi tilted her head: “I don’t have suitors.”
Sang Li was sowhat surprised, then suddenly thought of sothing and chuckled.
Soone sure is ruthless.
Seeing him laugh, Lin Zhiyi asked, “Is it that funny? Actually, during junior and senior high school, I had quite a few people chasing after , and each Christmas I could receive dozens of apples. I re-gifted them, but when they didn’t take them back, I could sell them for a good amount of money.”
“Sell?”
“Other schools celebrated Christmas too, you know. I set up a stall at the entrance of other schools; an apple with a gift box could be sold for double the price,” Lin Zhiyi explained seriously.

Sang Li clenched his fist to his lips, trying to restrain his laughter.
Lin Zhiyi continued: “Once I was in college, it seed like no guys were chasing after anymore, probably because everyone had matured, and there were more considerations when it ca to love.”
“Maybe,” Sang Li replied, without saying much, just gazing at Lin Zhiyi with a softer look in his eyes.
If it weren’t for those troubleso matters, Lin Zhiyi would actually be a very simple and innocent person.
Lin Zhiyi glanced at the ti: “It’s about ti, let’s go upstairs.”
“Mhm.”
The two turned around and walked toward the escalator.
They had just taken a few steps when a familiar voice sounded from behind.
“Bro.”
“Mr. Sang.”
Lin Zhiyi did not expect to encounter Sang Ran and Ye Feifei here.
Sang Ran’s complexion had improved a lot, and she greeted Lin Zhiyi with the sa warmth as before.
But Lin Zhiyi felt a bit awkward, smiled faintly, and looked away.
She just t Ye Feifei’s disdainful gaze.

Sang Li frowned and said, “You’ve only just recovered; how co you’re out and about?”

“Exactly.” Ye Feifei sneaked a glance at Lin Zhiyi and continued, “Third Young Master would give Xiao Ran all the flowers in the world if he could; not everyone is comparable to that.”
Sang Ran’s face turned red: “It’s not that exaggerated. It’s just that the flowers I like are not in season, so they said they’d need to be flown in, which is a bit of a hassle.”

“Zhiyi, the two of you are really romantic, so we won’t bother you,” Sang Ran said.
After speaking, Sang Ran, feeling sowhat reluctant, led Ye Feifei away.
Lin Zhiyi and Sang Li exchanged a smile, then turned to get on the escalator.
Not far off.
Ye Feifei, fuming, stomped her high heels with force.
“Why should Mr. Sang accompany her to the movies?”
“Feifei, Zhiyi is my brother’s girlfriend, and besides, my brother plans to take her abroad…”
“Abroad!” Ye Feifei ground her teeth, her eyes dark and gloomy.

As the movie ticket check approached, Sang Li’s phone rang.
It was a call from Sang Ran.
Worried about her health, Sang Li imdiately answered the call.
“Xiao Ran, what’s up? What? I’ll co over right away.”
Hearing this, Lin Zhiyi knew sothing had happened. She stopped queuing for the ticket check and stood aside with Sang Li.
“What happened?”
“Ye Feifei’s high heel broke, and she dragged Xiao Ran down the stairs with her. I need to go check on Xiao Ran,” Sang Li said, apologetically looking at Lin Zhiyi.
Lin Zhiyi imdiately offered, “Do you need to co with you?”

Lin Zhiyi indeed didn’t want to see Ye Feifei’s face, so she nodded in agreent.

Sang Li hurried off to find Sang Ran.
Lin Zhiyi was the last one to enter the theater after checking her ticket.
The movie had started, and Sang Li hadn’t co back, nor had he replied to her ssages.
Looks like he’s not coming back.
Lin Zhiyi helplessly looked at the empty seat to her left, placing the milk tea into the cup holders on both sides, drinking from both cups alone.
She took a sip of the milk tea just as the scene in the movie changed, and sothing burst out of a stomach.
That gory scene almost made her spit out her milk tea.
She looked down at her phone light to check the movie ticket; it was correct, a sci-fi film.
She was so engrossed in the movie that she didn’t notice soone suddenly sitting down in the empty seat to her right.
