Nancy sat in the back seat.

Emma continued to complain to Basil: "What kind of eye do you have? It’s normal for us tough-skinned types to sit in the front! What if sothing happens to Nancy with her small fra?"

Basil adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose and replied, "You’re right."

Emma finally had no objections.

Nancy simply watched them with a smile.

They all arrived together at the place for taking wedding photos.

Emma initially didn’t want to take the photos, always thinking wedding photos are too cheesy.

But the big day was coming up soon, and a wedding photo at the entrance was a must, so she ca along.

Emma pulled Nancy to walk in front, with Basil following behind.

The receptionist warmly greeted them, saying to Emma and Nancy, "Are you the couple that made the reservation earlier? Truly a perfect match made in heaven."

The receptionist mistook Emma and Nancy as the couple.

Emma was montarily stunned, then looked back amusedly at Basil, who was trailing behind them like a butler, and couldn’t help but laugh.

Nancy lightly slapped Emma’s arm wrapped around her and stepped back.

Emma then laughed and pulled Basil over, saying, "We are the couple."

The receptionist’s eyes widened, looking like they just witnessed sothing they couldn’t believe.

Emma retorted irritably, "I’m a woman!"

The receptionist was thoroughly confused.

In the end, while choosing the wedding dress, Emma, with her tall fra of six-foot-tall, handso looks, reluctantly wearing a wedding dress, seed like a cross-dressing man, Emma was dissatisfied with everything.

Emma simply chose a n’s suit.

She’s always been a bit rebellious; as long as Basil doesn’t mind, she doesn’t care.

Basil was quite indulgent towards Emma, having no issues as Emma chose the n’s suit.

Ultimately, they chose two red suits; Emma wearing it with carefree elegance, Basil with conventional neatness.

Emma raised her chin slightly and asked Nancy, "Nancy, does this look good?"

Nancy nodded silently, indicating, "It looks good."

The photographer’s eyes glead while shooting.

These two, looking both masculine, inexplicably have a strong chemistry!

Nancy observed from the side and thought they looked great too.

Emma, acting cocky, grew increasingly impatient: "Are we done yet? This outfit is so hot!"

Emma went to ss up the bow tie on her collar, but Basil, with his compulsive neatness, adjusted it again.

Their personalities truly were polar opposites, one calm and composed, the other fiery and brash.

After taking three photos, they chose the best one to be sent to the hotel tomorrow.

Then Emma grabbed Nancy and in a coaxing tone asked, "Nancy, look at all these pretty dresses here, should we take a set of photos too, how about taking a sisterly... best friends photo?"

Emma initially wanted to say sibling photos, but changed her words on the spot.

Nancy finally understood the reason Emma asked her to accompany her.

As Emma’s big day approached, she wanted to take photos, and Nancy hoped she would be happy, and so agreed.

Emma perked up, choosing the most beautiful and glamourous dress in the shop for Nancy, while she stuck with a n’s outfit, just changing to a black tailcoat.

Emma initially wanted to take several sets of photos, but Nancy’s health was poor, so she worried about tiring Nancy.

Having changed clothes, the waiting photographer was left speechless.

Their supposed best friends photos looked like wedding pictures.

While the earlier wedding photos looked more like a magazine cover with male models.

This ti Emma was in great spirits, no impatience, cooperating perfectly with the photographer’s requests.

Nancy couldn’t help but glance at Basil, finding Emma’s attitude completely different from before.

Basil maintained his ticulous deanor with glasses, indifferent to Emma’s antics, even when Emma’s hair beca ssy, he compulsively fixed it.

At this mont, Nancy also understood why Emma was willing to marry Basil.

Basil could accommodate Emma’s whims.

anwhile, Basil was thinking that the big boss, upon seeing these best friends photos, would definitely be jealous.

Emma and Nancy took two sets of photos, happily preparing to leave.

With the wedding arrangents to handle, Emma planned to first drop Nancy ho, and so asked, "Nancy, should we send you back to Ink Manor, or Imperial Garden?"

Internally, Nancy wanted to return to Ink Manor.

At Imperial Garden, the presence of Godfery and Julius was a huge pressure for Nancy.

But her models were still at Imperial Garden, and Master Fan was also waiting there.

Nancy whispered, "I’ll go back to Imperial Garden."

Emma imdiately complained, "You’re such a good-natured person, it truly benefits Godfery, wait for my wedding day, you co be my bridesmaid, I’ll find you a very handso groomsman, Sophie can be our flower girl, just not Godfery, see if he gets mad, for daring to leave us Sophie back then."

"Okay." Nancy gently agreed.

Emma drove Nancy back to Imperial Garden.

Upon entering Imperial Garden, Nancy saw Godfery was there, the atmosphere was a bit tense.

Seeing Nancy’s figure appear, this tense atmosphere quickly eased.

Godfery poured a glass of warm water for Nancy and kindly said, "You’re back, are you tired?"

Nancy shook her head and walked towards the model table, Godfery naturally followed to help.

With Godfery finished work, Nancy had no reason to refuse Godfery’s assistance.

One had to admit, Godfery was very clever, whether it was building Legos or learning to make models.

Those intricate structures, the parts Nancy didn’t quite understand, Godfery could easily grasp with a glance.

Nancy suddenly understood the reason Sophie enjoyed building Legos with Godfery, almost as if divinely assisted.

Having worked together until ten o’clock at night, Godfery suddenly said, "Alright, that’s it for today, we can continue tomorrow."

Nancy imdiately disagreed, shaking her head and quietly approached Godfery to say, "I’m not sleepy yet, I don’t want to rest, I still want to do a bit more."

Godfery didn’t agree, softly yet firmly stating, "Nancy, you need to rest, your body hasn’t fully recovered yet, what’s left can be done tomorrow, I bet you wouldn’t want Emma’s wedding day to have you sick and affect it."

Upon hearing that, Nancy hesitated for a mont and nodded in agreent.

She knew her health was genuinely poor, if she indeed fell ill on Emma’s wedding day, it would certainly affect Emma’s wedding.

Nancy said goodbye to Master Fan and went upstairs with Godfery; as they passed Julius’s room, Nancy paused in her steps.

She suddenly quietly asked, "Godfery, can I sleep in my own room tonight?"

Godfery stopped, thinking about sothing, paused a mont and said, "Yes."

Nancy added, "Also... uh... the bracelet Sarah sent to you, could you give it to ?"

Nancy felt she was being rather unreasonable, but Julius would definitely co for the bracelet tonight, so she had to ask.

If Julius couldn’t get the bracelet, she wasn’t sure what might happen.
