After reading the report sent by Yui, Tsunade-hi spoke, "When she led the Anbu and the Iryō-nin into the Uchiha District, the rebellion was brought to an end by the Amatsukami... but there was no trace of Amatsukami in the Uchiha District. Those who could be treated within the premises received ergency dical care, while others with more severe injuries were transported to the Konoha Hospital... and currently, she is overseeing their treatnt."
Elder Hiruzen nodded and said, "Fair enough." He then inquired of the Anbu, "What is the number of casualties among the Uchihas?"
"Most of the Uchiha Shinobi had injuries mainly in their hands and legs, making it difficult for them to stand or hold their weapons... As for the confird number of fatalities so far... it's only seven..." The Anbu handed a list of the deceased to Elder Hiruzen.
"Only seven casualties among hundreds of Uchiha Clansn?" Elder Hiruzen expressed his surprise. The number of casualties was significantly lower than he had anticipated.
Confused, he glanced at the list with a frown, "Uchiha Naoto, Uchiha Minoru, Uchiha Tanaka... and these four other Uchihas... all seven of them..."
All seven of the confird deceased Uchiha Clansn were headstrong radicals within the Uchiha Clan. In fact, after Uchiha Fugaku, Uchiha Itachi, and Uchiha Shinichi, these individuals could be considered the backbone of the Uchiha's radical faction and the rebel forces. Without exception, all seven of them were elite Jonins.
Elder Hiruzen had initially assud that Amatsukami would indiscriminately target and kill Uchiha Clansn, resulting in a much higher casualty count. However, it seed that Amatsukami had selectively targeted and killed only those who were extre radicals.
This made Elder Hiruzen furrow his brow slightly, and after a mont of silence, he couldn't help but question those around him, "Did we make such a request of Amatsukami? Did we provide the identities of these seven as the primary targets?"
Elder Koharu shook her head and said, "No..."
Tsunade-hi chid in, "Perhaps Kuroto made such a request in private... Otherwise, I doubt Amatsukami would be so considerate. This entire arrangent with Amatsukami... Kuroto initiated it, and he was the one who conveyed all the information to Amatsukami." After a pause, she added, "Considering his friendship with Uchiha Shisui, it's not impossible."
"Hmm... that makes sense," nodded Elder Hiruzen, and he muttered, "So... all three Mangekyou Sharingan users are still alive, huh?"
Elder Koharu expressed her concern, saying, "But is this really alright?" She added, "The Uchiha's backbone... they are still alive... and this may not be very good for the village."
"Let's wait and watch... There shouldn't be any trouble with the Uchiha Clan for the next few years," answered Elder Hiruzen.
"And what about Uchiha Fugaku? Will he accept the fact that he has lost his eyes?" asked Tsunade-hi.
"Hmm... tell the exact condition of all three Mangekyou Sharingan users," ordered Elder Hiruzen.
"As for both Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Shinichi, they were found unconscious in their hos with minor injuries. After so tests, it was confird that they only have light injuries, nothing serious. So, they are remaining in the Uchiha District and patrolling the streets," the Anbu reported. He continued, "As for Uchiha Fugaku, he doesn't appear to have any physical injuries. However, his Mangekyou Sharingan was stolen by Amatsukami."
"Are we certain that Amatsukami took them?" questioned Elder Hiruzen.
The Anbu replied uncertainly, "We can't be sure... There were only two individuals at the Patriarch Mansion when we arrived—Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto. Both of them were unconscious, and Uchiha Fugaku's eyes were missing."
Based on Uchiha Fugaku's testimony, it is safe to say that his eyes were stolen by the male Homusubi of Amatsukami after he lost in a battle of Genjutsu. In fact, not only Uchiha Fugaku, but Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Shinichi also testified that they lost in a Genjutsu battle against the male Homusubi.
"So, the top fell to the battle of Genjutsu... no wonder everything happened so quietly in the Uchiha District," muttered Elder Hiruzen with a surprised expression. He then asked, "By the way, how many mbers did Amatsukami dispatch?"
The Anbu replied, "Based on the testimony of the injured Uchiha Clansn, it seems that none of the other mbers of Amatsukami participated in this besides the Homusubi... and since we didn't find any signs of any other mber's involvent, we can confirm that it was only the two Homusubis of Amatsukami who participated."
"Only the two Homusubi handled the entire Uchiha Clan?" Everyone was stunned.
The Anbu added, "Based on these details, we can be certain that the male Homusubi dealt with Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Shinichi, and Uchiha Fugaku, while the female Homusubi dealt with the other Uchiha Clansn..."
"It seems that both the male Homusubi and female Homusubi are far more powerful than Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Shinichi, and Uchiha Fugaku," sighed Elder Hiruzen.
In fact, when the signal flare was fired by Amatsukami from the Uchiha Clan District, he was incredibly surprised. It wasn't just him; the entire top leadership of Konoha shared his astonishnt. Everyone had believed that even with Amatsukami's involvent, unless it was Yama taking action personally, they wouldn't be able to quell the Uchiha Clan's rebellion so effortlessly. They had expected a confrontation involving Susano'o and various powerful ninjutsu.
However, things within the Uchiha Clan were resolved much more swiftly than anticipated. Surprisingly, the turmoil within the Uchiha Clan District was minor compared to the chaos that central Konoha had suffered due to the sudden attack by Satori.
Though it's hard to believe, they have no choice but to accept it. Amatsukami is so enigmatic that they have no gauge for their strength and thods. So, even if the situation seems absurd and unbelievable, they have no option but to acknowledge it.
After another sigh, Elder Hiruzen spoke, "The follow-up regarding the aftermath should be carried out according to Kuroto's arrangents. Destroy all the evidence that suggests the Uchiha Clan was planning a rebellion tonight. Seal the mories of all the Anbu concerning the Uchiha's coup d'état, and disseminate the story that the Uchiha Clan was attacked by Amatsukami."
"Yes," the Anbu nodded and disappeared.
At this mont, Elder Koharu questioned, "Will this really be alright?"
Elder Hiruzen sighed, "I don't know... but what I do know is that the consequences of our actions after the Nine-Tails attack have led to this situation. Sending the Uchiha Clan away and isolating them completely earned them the resentnt of the populace. We now know they were not the traitors. They were wrongly blad once, and we covered for them once. It's ti to start anew, and since Kuroto, the current Hokage, wants to do things differently, let's do things differently. Perhaps, things might turn out for the better."
