Sarah’s reincarnation shocked the shareholders of Geno Society behind the screens and glass wall. They were mostly leaders in other fields, sharing the sa status and power as Andy, who was the leader of the Othard region.

Dexter wanted to take a gamble. He wanted to bet on human greed - that the leaders from other regions would cover the data of the reincarnation project.

"I’m the only one who knows about the data of the reincarnation project. Even if they got it recorded, they wouldn’t be able to succeed," he softly said.

I nodded, turning to look at Andy and Sarah as they recorded the data.

"You’ve truly gained a valuable asset this ti, Andy. He’s a rare genius, and his achievents go beyond everything we’ve seen before!" As the hatch opened, the people sitting behind the scenes all walked in, all from different parts of the world.

They had been anticipating this day for the longest ti. They were expressing their shock to each other in a foreign language.

Dexter quietly sat in his wheelchair, as if waiting for sothing.

A man who seed like he was of mixed descent walked to the entrance of the lab capsule. He looked at Dexter and smiled, his gaze bleeding with pure greed.

Andy was alert as he walked over and patted the man on his shoulders. He said, "We can only put this to use once we have all the data and can calculate the success rate of the experint. It’s just a matter of ti before Geno Society is able to dominate the world and control all nations."

Once they obtained the key to reincarnation, they would hold power over the lives of others.

Only by being obedient could they get Geno Society to provide them with new bodies repeatedly. They could even manipulate the leaders of various countries.

That was their most terrifying and greedy aspect.

The man nodded with a smile before following Andy for a tour around the laboratory.

After they left, Andy’s n ca over to release Dexter, Joel, and I back to the rest area.

"Fuck, Sarah must be a lovestruck fool-she willingly died! What if Dexter hadn’t saved her? "Joel cursed.

Dexter smiled and said, "She’s smart to know that I’d save her. She believed that I would use her against Andy. She’s too smart for her own good."

"So, do we still have a way to leave here now?" Joel sighed and sat on the bench. "To be honest, it’s useless even if we leave. Geno Society is just too strong! We’re just insignificant ants compared to them. The only way we can refuse to work with them is to take the secret to our graves."

I looked at him and asked, "Is it really that bleak for us?"

Joel looked up at . "Isn’t that so?"

Only with Dexter’s death would these people give up on their greedy pursuit.

In the end, what I was most afraid of was that even the governnt might want him dead.

"I wonder how things are going with Damien now," I whispered, sounding sowhat disheartened.

Dexter held my hand and supported himself up from the wheelchair. He hugged tight and comforted , "Don’t be afraid."

"I’m not," I retorted softly.

Dexter chuckled and said, "Damien isn’t that foolish. Perhaps we might be able to see him soon."

"But Andy isn’t that foolish either." Andy was too smart-he would definitely take

precautions and avoid trusting Damien too much.

"We’ll take it easy," Dexter said, seemingly confident.

Sarah’s successful reincarnation filled Andy with excitent.

He invited many shareholders and backers to visit the headquarters of Geno Society. He even allowed the leaders of the other regions to extend the invitation to their trusted

shareholders and backers.

As expected, Dexter was right-we soon t Damien and Jimmy.

Jimmy was one of Andy’s invitees as Andy knew and trusted him. After all, Geno Society was the one who created Jimmy’s geno-enhanced self.

However, Damien was actually an invitee of that mixed-descent leader. It was out of my expectations. He had beco smarter now.

The door to the lab capsule opened up, and Sarah’s n gestured for us to enter.

Dexter, Joel, and I felt as if we were monkeys trapped in a laboratory. We were on display for everyone to observe us.

Damien’s gaze wavered when he saw us, yet he could only pretend to be indifferent in order not to expose himself. "If only you had listened to and followed , you wouldn’t have gotten stuck here now, Sophia."

I coldly looked at him, ignoring him.

"I’ve always admired you for discovering a way to reincarnate humans, Dexter. I was this close to ending my life back when Sophia’s body was found. I never imagined you could bring her back. I have to thank you for it," Damien said with a smile as he stood behind the glass hatch.

Sarah and Andy did not trust him at all. Their n had been keeping their eyes on him all this while.

Damien coldly glanced over at them before turning to leave.

Now that Sarah had a new body, she was very satisfied with her appearance. She smiled and said to Dexter, "Thank you for giving a youthful body."

He ignored her.

"You should give it so thought, Dexter. You’re still valuable as long as we haven’t found the experint data, but once we do, all of you will lose your worth," Sarah threatened with a smile.

"You’re such a pitiful person. You would’ve died if it weren’t for Dexter, but you’re still shalessly threatening us," I mocked before glancing at her pitifully.

Sarah seemingly couldn’t stand others looking at her like that. She started banging her fists on the hatch repeatedly.

I continued to provoke her, "You’re totally devoted to Andy, but he’s so heartless to you, Sarah."

Sarah clenched her fists before smiling. "You don’t need to provoke , Sophia. Love isn’t the only thing that keeps going in life. Aren’t you all moved by supre power and imnse wealth?"

Dexter looked away indifferently, completely ignoring her.

Sarah gently placed her fingers on the glass hatch. "Actually, I really like you, Dexter. I feel bad for you too. If you’re willing to just listen to , I can bring you to a greater height or even-"

She was suggesting that she could help him replace Andy’s position, yet she did not continue the rest of her sentence.

Dexter remained uninterested. Sarah didn’t say more and walked away.

I sat by the side, looking at Joel. Joel shrugged at and said, "We’d better pray that they can’t find the key to reincarnation. Otherwise, we’ll all end up as fish food tossed into the ocean."

Dexter was silent, as if he was waiting for sothing.

I trusted him. Surely, he would be able to find ways for us to leave.

Andy brought those people for a tour around the headquarters of Geno Society. By the ti they were back, Damien gave Dexter a aningful look.

It seed like he was able to persuade the mixed-descent leader to abduct Dexter, Joel and .

We were equivalent to imnse wealth and power to these people-everyone wanted to get their hands on us.
