Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Jia Qing Suffers a Setback

Liu Xianli ran forward, shielding his head, while a swarm of wasps chased fervently after him.

Jia Qing considered running when he saw his uncle bolt off, but when he glanced at Tong Yao who was hastily fixing her torn clothes, he felt a sense of regret. He had nearly seen Tong Yao’s pure white skin and if he missed this opportunity, it would probably be much more difficult next ti as she would be on her guard.

But if he didn’t run, he might end up losing his life here. As he stood there in indecision, he was stung on the head again, causing him to jump and cuss painfully.

"Damn it, where do these wasps even co from. I swear, the next ti I see a wasp nest, I’ll destroy it. I’ll wipe them out from Li City, those sons of bitches without fathers or mothers to teach them manners, fuck them all... Oh God, help ..."

The swarm of wasps, initially scattered around attacking different people, converged on Jia Qing after hearing his threat. Tong Yao had previously warned them not to cause any serious harm, their aim was to drive Jia Qing away, but now Jia Qing had openly challenged them, threatening their ho. The wasps couldn’t tolerate this and proceeded to attack Jia Qing altogether.

Everyone watched the scene in shock, they had never seen wasps attack a human en masse, let alone one that seed orchestrated like an attack on Jia Qing alone in response to his insults. This threw them into such a panic that any wicked thoughts they might have had were instantly wiped clean. If a celestial maiden stood before them at that mont, they wouldn’t have the guts to do anything.

Seeing that even Liu Xianli, the main instigator, had fled, they didn’t dare to stay any longer but ran even faster than rabbits.

Seeing that Jia Qing was suffering the wasps’ attack yet wasn’t running away, one of them couldn’t help but call out, "Jia Qing, your uncle ran away already. We should run too! There’s no point in losing our lives here." Having said that, he turned and ran, as though a ghost was chasing him.

Jia Qing was utterly miserable. Did he not want to run?

Surrounded by a swarm of wasps, he was disoriented from the multiple stings. Plus, he tripped over the stool he had kicked earlier and fell, rolling around on the floor in pain. At this mont, he was screaming for help while begging for rcy.

"Bee Lord, Bee Ancestors, I am sorry, stop stinging, please stop. I was wrong, I will worship and offer you sacrifices tomorrow, treat you as my own ancestors, can you please stop," he pleaded.

Jia Qing didn’t care whether they understood him or not, he simply didn’t have any other option. Just then, he felt a heavy weight on his chest, and he yelled out in pain again. When he finally realized what happened, he saw that all the wasps had flown away, and Tong Yao was standing over him, her foot on his chest, looking coldly at him.

Her gaze was so sharp, almost intimidating. Feeling a glimr of hope, he reached out and grabbed hold of Tong Yao’s ankle.

"Yaoyao, you still care for , right? You saved

from the wasps because you couldn’t bear to see

die, right?"

Tong Yao pressed down harder, causing Jia Qing to wince in pain. The nurous stings had caused him to beco slightly disoriented, he had no strength left to fight back. Realizing he couldn’t show off anymore, he quickly pleaded, "Yaoyao, Yaoyao, be gentle. I was wrong, I won’t be disrespectful anymore, please be gentle. If you step on

any harder, I might actually die. Please help

get a doctor, I’m seeing double, I’m swelling all over, and it looks pretty severe. If I die here, you might have to close your shop."

Upon hearing Jia Qing still daring to threaten her, Tong Yao got angry, bent down, and gave him two hard slaps on the face.
