Nothing happened for so ti, at least.

Dominic and Hannah kept looking at Alia for any kind of reaction. For her to fall on the ground and wail in pain, vomit blood, or her eyes to bleed and dissolve, creating a horrifying ss for others to rember for the rest of their life.

However, nothing happened even after five minutes.

Alia furrowed her brows when she started to feel her head was becoming dizzy.

She blinked, her vision blurring as she looked around.

Why were there two Hannahs standing before her? And were there two Uncle Dominics?

Alia rubbed her eyes a little, stumbling in her step.

She placed her hand on her chest as she felt a different kind of heat rising from inside her.

Hannah’s and Dominic’s eyes twinkled a little as they thought sothing would happen.

However, nothing happened.

Alia turned around and started searching for that one man she was falling for.

She saw King Cyrus standing beside his grandfather, her eyes teared up.

This was her dream. She wanted to see him beco the King and rule everyone, as he deserved, sothing she had taken away from him last ti.

Cyrus, though standing beside Grayson, looked at the crowd, trying to find his wife. With the kind of gown she was wearing, it wasn’t hard to spot her.

He looked at her, and his brows narrowed.

Sothing was wrong.

He could feel it.

Without thinking twice, he started walking towards the stairs.

"Where are you going, Cyrus? I will announce the King’s trials," Grayson furrowed his brows.

Cyrus looked at his grandfather and then at Alia.

"She is not well," Cyrus said before shaking his head and leaving the stadium.

Patrick looked at the back of his brother and followed where he was going.

He rembered his father’s plan, and his heart felt a striking pain.

"Will you protect , Prince Patrick?"

Alia’s hopeful gaze appeared before his mind, and without thinking twice, he jumped down from the stage, surprising everyone.

Without listening to anyone, he rushed to Alia and picked her up bridal style, his actions making Cyrus pause.

"She is drugged," Patrick had said while passing, and Cyrus’s gaze darkened.

"Fabian!" Cyrus raised his voice.

His team imdiately understood sothing was wrong and gathered around him.

"Check the CCTV," He ordered silently through the mind link.

Patrick, who was taking Alia away, winced loudly when Alia suddenly bit his neck.

In shock, he nearly dropped the girl who rushed back to where Cyrus was standing.

She looked at him, her gaze dark and like soone who had been wronged.

"He is kidnapping . Are you just going to stand there and watch?" she asked.

Cyrus raised his brows at her question. Then he averted his gaze to Patrick. The man looked too shocked to react.

Patrick looked at Alia and didn’t understand what was going on. His father must’ve drugged her. Then why wasn’t she showing any symptoms?

He turned to his father, who was shocked, not by Alia’s alive state but by his son’s actions.

"Haha, I was just having fun, Alia. Must you make look like a kidnapper?" Patrick asked, trying to cover up the matter.

Alia didn’t turn to anyone. For her, the rest of the world had dimd long ago. Her gaze only fixated on one man, her man.

Cyrus clenched his fists.

The distance between them was only a couple of steps, but he couldn’t cover those few steps due to his grandfather’s order to keep her identity a secret.

He squared his jaws.

Alia’s eyes brimd with tears that spilled from her cheeks.

On the other side, Hannah was losing her mind.

She ticulously left the hall and called Jessica.

"What kind of drug was this? It didn’t work at all? She is still alive even after ten minutes. Have we been duped?" Hannah asked.

Jessica found it hard to believe that a drug from that black market didn’t work. She had been buying from them for so long.

"It should’ve worked. Could it be sothing else?" Jessica asked.

Hannah suppressed the urge to throw the phone in anger.

She looked at the remaining drug in her clutch and mixed it in a drink.

Her mother said it should’ve worked. And she sounded quite sure. Then why?

She brought the glass close to her lips to test it, then paused.

Alia might be lucky, but what if she weren’t and couldn’t vomit in ti?

"Hey, you are working so hard. Here, have so drink," Hannah smiled at the passing waiter. The man looked at her enchanting smile before bowing in gratitude.

"Thank you, madam," he said before he downed the drink.

Hannah saw the man leaving with the tray of glasses and started following him.

Only a few minutes later, the tray suddenly slipped from his hands.

Hannah observed how the man suddenly clutched his throat and fell to the ground. She looked at the blood coming out of his ears and eyes and clenched her fists.

Alia didn’t vomit up that drug, so how co it didn’t have any effect on her?

Hannah rembered that Dominic had given her a drink, too. She peeked into the hall and noticed that the man was equally agitated, like his plan had failed.

She quickly pulled out her phone and typed.

"Can poison nullify another poison?" she searched.

However, the answer was negative.

Then how the hell that bitch was still alive? Hannah gritted her teeth.

Equally shocked at Alia, Dominic gritted his teeth and glared at his n, who had arranged the poison for him.

Didn’t they say it was one of the best in the market? Then how the hell was this girl still alive?

At the sa ti, Alia was heartbroken, feeling drunk and out of her mind because Cyrus wouldn’t walk to her before everyone was about to turn and leave, dejected, when Cyrus took a deep breath and held her hand.

"I would like to offer this dance to Healer Alia for successfully healing a paralysed person. It’s a historical mont in our dical science field. Besides, she had been helping with my wolf," Cyrus said loudly, so everyone could think he was there with her because of that.

And then Cyrus pulled her to the center of the dancing hall for the second ti in the sa evening.

"Why are you acting like this, Alia?" Cyrus asked, his gaze trained on her now.

"Hehe, I am dancing with Two Cyrus," Alia grinned.

Cyrus raised his brows and realised she was drunk, and his gaze darkened.

She definitely didn’t drink enough to get drunk...then...

He took a deep breath and pulled her close.

"My grandfather was about to announce the king’s trials and my candidature. But you ruined it. How are you going to pay for that?" Cyrus leaned and whispered in her ears before looking back into her dazzling eyes.

Alia chuckled softly before giggling like a shy woman.

"Will my pussy be enough?" She blinked at the man innocently, and the man gulped.

She just did not say that. Cyrus thought, the reaction in his pants, making him growl inwardly.
