Life returned to normal once again after ga 9 ended. People began to go back to what they had been doing before the ga.

But the information world had been reduced to a ti when the internet was not even there.

"Wah-! Why is the internet down? The pages won’t even load properly...is it because I have not paid for it? But the banks are not even working...My web series..."

Clara cried as she looked at her now useless phone.

She could not make calls with it, and she could not even browse the internet. She could not contact anyone she wanted to, and communication was impossible.

"Hmm, it should not be long now. I rember that the system developed its own form of internet during early tis, and it was not long after the internet went down. But you still won’t get your web series on the system to read."

Emperor clarified for Clara, and her good mood turned sour as she leveled him with a look.

"Was it one of the ga rewards that provided everyone with the system’s communication tab?"

Andrew asked Emperor, and the man nodded.

"Yeah. It was a ga where all of humanity had to participate, just like the last one. Weirdly enough, it was different in all my previous tries, so I cannot even tell you what the ga will entail."

That...sohow made sense. If the system sent Andrew back, then it ant that it was aware of his regression. There was no way it would allow soone to have an unfair advantage...more than they already had.

"Hmm, so we should race ourselves for a group ga next, huh?"

Andrew asked, and Emperor nodded.

"Well, as fun as this conversation is, I should check on Lilianna. She is taking a long ti coming back from her walk."

Clara reminded everyone of their missing companion before she opened the door to go after Lilianna.

Lilianna had been in a weird mood ever since the last ga ended. She was still friendly and the sa person they used to be, but a little...distant.

She especially refused to look at Andrew for extended periods of ti, which made Clara feel sorry for her.

’That poor girl. I know it is hard for her to express herself, but she should co to terms with the fact that she likes Andrew, and she should tell him.’

It was painfully obvious to anyone that Lilianna liked Andrew, but she was too shy to tell him. And Seraphina’s appearance had made her doubt her standing even more.

For now, all Clara could do was cheer her up and tell her that she was on her side. And speaking of Lilianna, Clara could finally see her, so she called out to her.

"Lilianna-!"

Clara imdiately noticed that Lilianna was not alone. There was another person standing in front of Lilianna, not moving an inch. The new person had a hood up over their face, which hid their features, but Clara had a weird feeling that she should not engage with that person.

Her instincts made her take a step back, only to collide with a body behind her. Clara looked up, only to see Andrew and Emperor, who had followed her.

"An intruder?"

Emperor asked as he looked at the hooded person as well. But Andrew did not answer. He was looking intensely at the stare-off taking place in front of him.

Finally, the hooded figure moved, and her face turned toward the trio who had co for Lilianna.

Seraphina’s familiar face looked back at them, and they all (except Andrew) tensed as they noticed her.

Andrew was the only one who stepped forward toward her.

"You are finally a player? Welco back to the ga, Seraphina. Now, would you like to sign a contract with ?"

Andrew asked and extended the piece of paper toward Seraphina, and the female grabbed the paper without hesitation and signed it.

"It’ll be a pleasure to be playing with you again, Andrew. I hope we are able to make it till the end this ti."

The female spoke, and Clara noticed how Lilianna looked crushed with Seraphina’s appearance. Her shoulders were hunched, and it almost looked like she had given up on sothing.

"Tsk, I will keep an eye on you. And if you do anything suspicious...I will make sure I end you."

Emperor told Seraphina, but even he looked relaxed after the contract had been signed. He was giving Seraphina a chance because of Andrew’s insistence.

The air was tense and awkward, and Clara felt like it was her task to cool down the tension.

"Alright, shall we head back now? Our lunch should be ready, and then we need to work on the farm. The food will not grow by itself."

She reminded everyone, and they nodded before they started to walk back. Above their heads, the countdown for the next ga hung in the sky.

[Ti remaining for ga 10: 1 Month and 1 Day]

It was a long wait for the next ga, and it worried everyone. The order in the human world had already fallen, and the gap between powerful and weak was widening day by day.

But not all hope was lost.

There was a group of people who had started to prepare for the worst. If the world was in danger and the gas were running rampant, then they just needed a being who could protect them.

And as such, the remaining governnts still hanging on managed to call for a eting.

"We have gathered here for one purpose and one purpose only- we need to create sothing that will protect us from these gas and pull back people’s faith in us."

A leader asked in a clear voice.

"But what can we do? The system is too strong for us to fight it alone. Maybe we should ask those people on top-"

"No way. That is too dangerous. I have a better idea. Ever since the first ga started, I have t a few capable individuals, and one of them can see the future. He promised that there is a way to save humanity if we follow him. I would like to welco Park Minso, aka Thief. He says he knows a way to save the earth."
