Since the break between classes was limited, she didn’t want to delay her second brother’s ti. She took out a bag of prepared jerky from her bag. “You better keep this, don’t give them all away. I have to visit my fourth brother now, so I’m heading off.”

Luo Xuyuan stuffed the jerky into his desk drawer and opened another cloth bag, revealing two pairs of cal-colored thickened cashre socks. A smile appeared on his face; having a sister was truly wonderful.
Luo Qiao had to transfer buses twice to reach her fourth brother’s workplace. She thought to herself that having so many brothers wasn’t necessarily a good thing. Delivering a pair of socks ant traveling half the city. If she didn’t deliver them, she would have to prepare to be drowned in their jealousy.

Luo Qiao smiled and said, “Hello everyone, I’m Luo Siyuan’s sister, Luo Qiao.”
Everyone warmly ca forward to greet Luo Qiao; the girl was too beautiful to ignore.
Luo Qiao, noticing it was getting late and still intending to cook lunch at the machinery factory, said, “Fourth Brother, I should get going. If you have ti at noon, you can co ho for lunch.”
Luo Siyuan asked, “Are you heading back to the family compound?”
Luo Qiao nodded. “Now that you’ve got fleece-lined socks, of course Dad should have so, too. I’ll also cook lunch for Dad before heading back to Grandpa and Grandma’s place in the afternoon.”
Luo Siyuan said, “Then I’ll co ho for lunch as well.”
Luo Siyuan had a dormitory at the water plant and although he mostly stayed at ho, sotis he chose to stay in the dormitory. Everyone gathered around, curious to see what his sister had brought him.
Luo Siyuan boasted, “Of course, what my sister sends is good stuff, why should I show you guys?”
As he spoke, he planned to take it back to the dorm, but those friends with whom he usually hung out wouldn’t let him off so easily and sward him.
Then they saw what was indeed envy-worthy: two pairs of cashre socks and a bag of jerky. But in the blink of an eye, only half the bag was left, which made Luo Siyuan curse, “You bunch of robbers.”
Luo Siyuan looked at the remaining half bag of jerky with distress. “This is what my sister gave to .”
With that, he took a piece and bit into it fiercely to vent his frustration. Suddenly, everyone burst into laughter, Luo Siyuan included. Friendship is a strange thing.
Then, seeing that they were still eyeing the half bag of jerky in his hand, Luo Siyuan quickly slipped away.
After arriving at the machinery factory, Luo Qiao went to the factory gate first to use the guards’ phone to call her dad. “Dad, I’m back at the machinery factory. Co ho for lunch at noon.”
Luo Haotian responded with a smile on the other end of the call, “Okay, I got it. I’ll head back as soon as I get off work.”
After hanging up the phone and giving the gatekeeper a handful of dates, she took the items she had prepared in advance and turned to walk towards the family compound.
