Lu Yichen listened to this and laughed, pulling her into his arms: "We’re a couple. I don’t know how many tis I’ve tasted your saliva. Why would I mind a little of that?"
Luo Qiao raised her hand to hit him: "You really know how to ruin the mood."
Lu Yichen caught Luo Qiao’s hand and laughed softly: "I may not have spoken elegantly, but what I said makes sense. You should also try my leftover food."
Luo Qiao wriggled out of his embrace and turned to get out of bed: "Don’t even think about it."
Lu Yichen laughed heartily behind her. That’s how they are at ho; he eats all the leftover food from his wife and kids, while she never touches it.
He was purposely teasing her, and watching her dash into the bathroom made him laugh out loud.

Lu Yichen was really harsh, assigning tasks to the kids, telling them to bring things and go to the Luo Family Old Residence tomorrow to celebrate the New Year, stay one night, then head to the military district to see their grandparents, and also stay one night.
Lastly, they’ll return to the chanical Factory Residential Compound to stay a few days with their maternal grandparents, and afterward, spend ti with their cousins at their grandfather’s place until school starts.
The kids exchanged bewildered glances, each wondering to themselves: "Dad, what do you want us to do?"
Lu Yichen, however, said earnestly: "Stop guessing. You’re all grown up now; it’s ti for you to gain so experience."
The little ones could only comply obediently.
Regarding the things to bring, he’ll have soone deliver them daily. The worst part was not letting them use the family car, making them carry the items and squeeze onto public buses.
The excuse: to train them and help them beco more familiar with the Capital City’s transit routes.
Initially, they wanted to run to their mom and plead for so perks, but Dad warned them: "Your mom is not in a good mood, don’t go bothering her."
Xiao Ye retorted: "If Mom’s in a bad mood, shouldn’t we stay and keep her company?"
Lu Yichen shot him a stern look: "Your mom wants so peace now; besides, do you really think you can keep her company? It’s my wife, and I will do it myself."
Xiao Ye backed down, feeling a bit aggrieved: "Just always bullying us."
Yanyan and Yueyue seed to understand that Dad just wanted to send them away to have a couple’s world of his own, painstakingly.
The two sisters exchanged glances and resolutely chose to keep silent; saying more would be futile and pointless.
Later, Xiao Ye secretly complained to Mom: "Dad’s not training us; he just wants to show us who’s boss."
Never forgetting to stir up resentnt against Dad: "It’s fine for us three; we’re boys, but even our sisters aren’t spared. We have to take the bus and familiarize ourselves with city routes."
No matter how he protested, the next day they still left ho carrying stuff, heading out by bus.
Luo Qiao stood at the gate, watching the reluctant Xiao Ye look back every few steps. She wanted to laugh but feared her son might get upset, and thus held it in with difficulty.
Eventually, she couldn’t help it and lunged into Lu Yichen’s arms, her shoulders shaking, and Xiao Ye spoke: "Big sis, second sis, big brother, little brother, do you think Mom is crying?"
Not knowing what Xiao Ye had in mind: "Mom, rest assured, I’m not afraid of taking the bus. Dad’s right; this way we can better understand our city. These challenges won’t stump us."
After speaking, he turned and strutted out of the alley.
When he was out of sight, Lu Yichen finally patted Luo Qiao’s back: "Alright, they’ve all left. You can laugh if you want, though your son seems to have misunderstood."
Luo Qiao laughed: "It’s a secret between us, buried deep."
Lu Yichen raised his hand and promised: "Absolutely, let’s pack up and head out."
