After the deal was confird, Lin Xia began taking inventory of the store’s rchandise, along with Lin Chun, Song Zhiya, and two clerks.
The weather today was stiflingly hot and windless; even with the front and back doors and windows wide open, there was hardly a breeze passing through.
With many hands, Lin Xia and her team worked quickly, counting and recording ticulously and thodically.
Lin Aiguo, however, suddenly arrived at the shop in a burst of fury.

They both stood up in surprise, “Dad!
What brings you here?”
Lin Aiguo’s face was dark with anger, and the flas of rage flickered in his eyes, “Do I need a reason to be here?
If I didn’t, you all would soon be gone!
Whether I’ll ever see you again is anyone’s guess!”
When Yu Hongli ca ho and told him that Lin Chun was planning to go live with his maternal grandfather, he was practically fuming with rage!
He knew that his honest and obedient son Lin Chun had completely changed ever since that hospital stay.

As far as she knew, only her grandfather’s family and her second brother’s family were aware of her big brother’s imminent departure.

And it was even less likely that Zhao Da Nainai and her second brother would have ntioned it, and Jiang Mingqing probably wouldn’t have casually talked about it either.
Besides, she hadn’t had any contact with the Lin family!

If no one had ntioned it, Lin Aiguo wouldn’t have co in this manner, implying with certainty that her big brother was leaving!
Suddenly, Lin Xia turned her head to look at Song Zhiya, who had only returned recently with Song Yinran.
Although they probably didn’t know about her big brother’s plans to leave, with the convenience of telephones today, they might have inadvertently learned about it during a call with her grandparents.

Zhiya gently brushed a lock of hair from her forehead, her gaze calmly eting Lin Xia’s without showing any sign of guilt.

Who told you this?
Who says we are leaving to places far away?
“Dongzi is going to university, Xiaoxia is going to Lu Zheng’s place, and Xiaoqiu is going to take care of grandmother.
Weren’t you aware of these?”
Lin Aiguo clenched his fists, his breathing labored, “I know!
But I didn’t know you were leaving too!
“Lin Chun!
You have a good job at your unit, so why are you leaving?
Is ho not good enough for you?”
If Lin Chun’s maternal grandfather was of no consequence, Lin Aiguo might still have managed to talk about not being able to make it in another place.
But in his heart, he knew all too well that if Lin Chun really went to his grandfather’s place, he could only do better than here, certainly not worse!
Yet, this was his only son he could pin his hopes on, and even though he knew that Lin Chun would have a better future there, he didn’t want to let him go that easily!
If Lin Chun left, he might end up getting married and having children there, not coming back even once all year round.
When he becos old and unable to move, whom could he count on then?
In the end, people are selfish!
When faced with issues, they always consider their own interests first!
Lin Chun ignored his question, and asked again, “Who told you I was leaving?”
He was planning to leave, not to slip away without a sound, but to wait until the family business was sowhat settled and then to inform Lin Aiguo just before leaving calmly.
By then, whether Lin Aiguo yelled, cursed, or caused a scene, Lin Chun was ntally prepared to endure it all!
But today, Lin Aiguo suddenly turned up with an attitude like he was coming to settle accounts, and Lin Chun was curious to see who was behind all this whispering!
Lin Aiguo stood his ground, “Do I need soone to tell that?
Selling the house, cashing out the business!
Anyone with a brain could figure out what’s going on!”
After saying this, he also realized that he must have been quite foolish!
If it weren’t for Yu Hongli tipping him off, he would have been completely in the dark, not having thought of these things at all!
It’s true, once you understand one thing, you understand everything!
He hadn’t given it much thought before and just felt that things were a little suspicious!
Now that he knew Lin Chun was leaving, all those things he couldn’t comprehend before beca crystal clear!

Lin Xia couldn’t conceal her disappointnt as she looked at Song Zhiya with a sneer, “So it was you!”
She had only been sowhat suspicious of Song Zhiya before.
After all, none of the limited number of people in the know would have told Lin Aiguo about this matter!
And Song Yinran and Song Zhiya had just co back; during the al they had together, she hadn’t brought it up with this father-daughter pair!
Besides, her Uncle Song Yinran was discreet in his actions; even if he knew sothing, it was unlikely he would have talked.
But Song Zhiya was different!
After all, so unpleasant things had happened between them yesterday.
Now the answer lay right in front of her!
Indeed, it was Song Zhiya!
However, for Song Zhiya to get in touch with Lin Aiguo would not have been easy, and she must have used soone else in the process.
