With Arabella’s words, it was implied that she was telling everyone to wait so they should stop impatiently trying to dig about it when they would be inford about it soon anyway.
Arabella’s words subtly urged everyone to wait, implying that further inquiries were unnecessary as information would soon be provided. They only needed to wait a bit more.
Recognizing this, the household leaders refrained from pressing further, understanding that asking more questions about it would show their impatience and lack of trust.
With the Court Session concluded, Arabella made her way to the dining hall for lunch.
The food, as always, was delicious, but she ate quickly to allow her maids ample ti to prepare her for the upcoming eting with Princess Seraphina.
Arabella knew from experience that her maids maintained strict standards for her appearance, especially before important etings.
After all, her appearance hints of how Valeria treats her. Thus, her maids were strictly reminded by their households to ensure Arabella looks her best to uphold the empire’s honor.
Given the significance of her Empress garb, usually reserved for official engagents, Arabella understood that wearing it would imbue her words and actions with the weight of the entire Valerian Empire.
Thus, Arabella had to change her attire and retouch her makeup since her Empress garbs are usually only worn on official etings. Wearing it ant what she says and does could be attributed to Valeria as a whole.
Her eting with Princess Seraphina was a private one so her attire had to be different.
It was also to make it clear to Princess Seraphina right from the start that what Arabella says and does in their eting is more of her personal decisions and not the decision of the empire.
Preparing for the eting took over an hour, with her maids ticulously attending to every detail. Just her hair and makeup already took a while but they also paid attention to every accessory she wore.
Alwin and Rendell were both waiting outside her room when she got out.
"Ready?" Alwin inquired.
Arabella and her maids rechecked her outfit first. Once they were sure everything was fine, she took a deep breath and finally said, "Yes."
Sohow, she felt nervous about this eting. It made her wonder what kind of information she could glean from this for her to be this tense before the eting.
"Let’s go then," Alwin said and when she nodded, he teleported them to the Magic Tower.
Riley and Elmir stood outside the eting room as additional guards for Arabella in case sothing happened.
They opened the door for the eting room.
Arabella stepped inside and nodded in approval at the setup.
It was a simple but elegant wide room.
Alwin chose it to have ample space in case Rendell had to fight soone among their guests in case of conflict.
The couches set across each other were situated at a good distance with a wide coffee table in between, maintaining just the right amount of proximity but likewise mindful of security.
It was another setup for safety purposes. They could converse close enough yet, at a good distance to prevent assassination attempts.
"I will teleport you to safety in case of a fight so tell imdiately if you hear them planning to do sothing," Alwin cautioned Arabella, emphasizing the eting’s risk.
"Yes, of course," Arabella affird, keenly aware of the stakes. She was not set on getting hurt either.
She needed to be alive to finish what she needed to do in this life. And she knew Ferdinand would be more than devastated if sothing happened to her.
Arabella then seated herself in the middle of the couch.
Alwin and Rendell stood on either side of her behind the couch.
As a precautionary asure, Alwin placed a protective barrier around Arabella. This eting itself was too risky so Alwin did not want to take chances. If sothing happened to Arabella, he knew he was the one who gets scolded.
Alwin also placed another barrier to hide them and their presence in the anti so they could observe and gauge Princess Seraphina and her people first before they begin the eting.
anwhile, Alfredo and Blanca were on standby in the next room with tea and refreshnts. Blanca would bring in the food once Arabella rings the bell to call for her.
Princess Seraphina had promised to only bring people Arabella had already seen with her in deus. Two servants and one guard knight.
Thus, Arabella also promised to only bring people with whom Princess Seraphina had already seen with her. Alwin who was disguised as a knight when they were in deus and Rendell who was there as her guard the whole ti.
Blanca was an exception since she would serve their tea and refreshnts.
When everything was ready, Alwin contacted Riley.
{Bring them here.}
Arabella had prepared a handwritten letter which Riley had with him so Princess Seraphina would go with him.
Riley then teleported to Princess Seraphina’s location to pick her up.
In a few minutes, Riley returned with their guests.
"Your Highness, we have arrived," Riley inford.
"Already?!!" Princess Seraphina and her comrades looked around wide-eyed.
"Yes. For Her Majesty’s safety, I have teleported Your Highness to the eting place," Riley explained.
Princess Seraphina gulped as she looked around.
[Is this sowhere just near the palace? He teleported us in a matter of seconds. I barely even felt it. If we were in an identical room, to the one we were earlier, I would think we were in the sa place.]
Princess Seraphina thought they were still in the sa kingdom due to the short teleportation period.
However, her lack of surprise to the teleportation itself made it clear she was no stranger to it.
[She looks fine even after getting teleported at a great distance.] Alwin noted.
They thought she would be more surprised but her reaction was lacking compared to what they expected.
The Princess did not get dizzy from it either which ans she had experienced it before or had so exposure to magic.
