[Thank goodness Her Majesty finally stopped watching those horrendous acts. She looks really bothered by it. I hope she’s not traumatized. I might get sent back to Estrella too if she hates His Majesty because of this.]
’What?! Raymond is from Estrella too?!’
Arabella covered her mouth to stop her gasp and quickly averted her gaze from Raymond.
[Is Her Majesty going to puke?!]
[She must truly be disgusted.]
Rendell and Alwin both misunderstood it and offered her their handkerchiefs. Alwin even made a barf bag out of magic. He was still a gentleman even if he hated her.
Since they already misunderstood her actions, Arabella pretended to feel nauseous and dizzy due to what she witnessed in Gulliver’s room.
After all, she was supposed to be young and innocent. Even if, hypothetically speaking, she had consummated with Andrew and later with Ferdinand, she was supposed to have never seen a threeso or fourso.
But she had already witnessed it in her previous life when she was supposed to seduce a king in Eliora as one of her allies. But she got turned off after the said king wanted to have sex with her along with so other ladies. She even arrived at them already in the act.
Furious and insulted, she asked Dimo to teleport her elsewhere shortly after since she was indeed disgusted and shocked when she saw it for the first ti. But she encountered it another two tis before she decided to rely on Icarus instead and focus on him to avoid such scenarios again.
Even when she wanted as many allies as possible, she still had a bit of her pride as a noblewoman and as the Empress and didn’t accept being treated like so prostitute picked up along the street.
She did use her body to get allies but she chose them as well and didn’t go with just anyone.
"Please sit here, Your Majesty," Alwin made a chair and a table for her and Raymond helped her sit.
[Her Majesty must be traumatized! She must have just been acting tough earlier. She shouldn’t have witnessed such a scene. His Majesty would be furious once he hears this. Am I really going to be sent back to Estrella too?!]
Raymond was in a panic. He had his pride as Ferdinand’s right hand so getting sent back to Estrella as punishnt would apparently tarnish his reputation.
She gave him a side-glance. Today was the first ti she heard Raymond think of getting sent back to Estrella. Due to this, she forrly thought Raymond was human.
But then again, now that she thought about it, she was Ferdinand’s wife for two decades in her previous life. She did her Empress duties perfectly well for more than a decade but she wasn’t inford about Ferdinand’s true origin.
And yet, Raymond knew. He had also been referring to Ferdinand as a dragon repeatedly.
There was no way they wouldn’t tell his wife but tell the Pri Minister whom the nobles favored much more than Ferdinand if he was just a normal human.
After all, with how the nobles favored Raymond, he could have usurped the throne if he wasn’t loyal to Ferdinand.
’But in my past life, Raymond died.’
But then again, she reminded herself, the long-lived races were not immortal. They just had extrely long lives compared to humans. They would still die in accidents or if soone tried to kill them.
She wondered what Raymond was among the long-lived races. Dragon? Elf?
She didn’t really know what other species lived in Estrella. But in the myths and legends in Eliora, there were a lot of other long-lived creatures such as fairies, nymphs, dwarfs, rmaids, witches, and so on.
[I miss flying but I don’t want to leave His Majesty’s side. I’m his right hand so I’m supposed to be by his side all the ti. And yet, Alwin gets to be with him more.]
’He can fly too? Then, is he also a dragon?’
If Raymond was a dragon too, perhaps she could ask Clarisse about pregnancy prevention.
She was beginning to feel bad for Ferdinand for having to hold back all the ti even though he had lustful thoughts of her every single day. They were already married so consummating with Ferdinand was part of her duties as his wife and as the Empress. But she cannot get pregnant until their anniversary to increase the chances Fermin would be born to them again.
’Or is Clarisse also not inford about Raymond’s real identity? Or, could it be. . . Is she also from Estrella?’
[Now that we are living among the humans, isn’t Alwin staying by His Majesty’s side so much more than ?]
Arabella raised a brow when she realized Raymond was actually jealous of Alwin for being able to stay by Ferdinand’s side most of the ti.
[Still, it’s my job as His Majesty’s right hand to assist him as much as I can so I have to do my best as his Pri Minister. He had been living among the humans for more than a decade now so he was finally beginning to get used to life here. He even finally managed to fall in love. I cannot allow his relationship with Her Majesty to fail. Even Alwin who’s still wary of the Empress is actually doing his best to help. He was even the one who recomnded that I give His Majesty lectures on how to treat a lover.]
’What?! That was Alwin’s idea?’
Arabella couldn’t help but glance at Alwin. Thankfully, the latter was busy surveying the plaza and did not notice her gaze.
’Why would he do that if he hates . . . Ah, was it because he also understood Ferdinand and I failed to communicate well with each other in our past life?’
She blinked repeatedly as she realized that Alwin was already trying to help prevent their tragic future.
’I see. Even if he doesn’t like , he is truly loyal to Ferdinand so he is following his forr lord’s wishes even now.’
