’There was a change in my body?!’ Arabella couldn’t help but glance at her chest. ’Oh, it does look a bit bigger than it was when I just got married to Ferdinand. How co I didn’t notice?’

It was strange though that she was learning about it from her assistants. Nadia needed to be taught so tact so she would not begin conversations like that again.

Ferdinand would indeed get angry if he heard their conversation.

Rendell and Rowan were offended by it and Riley was embarrassed. They looked like they wanted to go inside the office and scold her assistants, but Arabella gestured there was no need.

She had Riley teleport them to the Magic Tower instead. She would have Nadia be educated more about etiquette and manners in Riva later.

’I didn’t even notice my body had already begun to change. Oh well, it’s a good thing. I want to have a better figure than Carlla’s.’

Arabella clenched her fist just at the recollection of Carlla seducing her husband.

Ferdinand said he didn’t have any particular preference, but Arabella simply couldn’t forget how Carlla tried to seduce him.

’Ferdinand didn’t seem to notice either. It must be because he’s quite occupied right now.’

Arabella pushed the thoughts aside and visited Dimo’s room to say her goodbyes.

Dimo was already awake and was reading a book about magic.

"Your Majesty!" Dimo brightened up upon seeing her. He did the official greeting before rushing to her side.

"Have you eaten your al?" Arabella fixed his hair since so got disheveled.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Dimo told her he had eaten hours ago. He was awake for several hours now so he must have had his al while she was speaking with her assistants.

"It’s ti for a snack then," Arabella ate sweets with Dimo and updated him about his father.

Seeing that Dimo was cheerful and collected now, she left him alone so he could focus on his studies.

"Your Majesty, soone ca to see you," Riley inford when they were about to return to Estrella.

[She had been pestering everyone since this Her Majesty arrived even though I already told her to wait since Her Majesty is busy.] Riley thought.

"Who is it?"

’Who would know I am here?’

"Lady Blanca. Will Your Majesty see her?"

"Oh, Blanca! Yes, of course. I hadn’t seen her in months."

{You may co in. Her Majesty said she would see you.} Riley communicated with Blanca.

{Yay! Finally! I’m heading there.} Blanca replied ecstatically.

{Rember your manners. You have been learning for months so show so improvent.} Riley reminded.

{I already improved a lot. You anie! I am already very much ladylike.}

{Then prove it. You cannot be by Her Majesty’s side if you keep speaking like this.}

{It’s only because it’s you I’m speaking with. Just wait and see.}

’They seem to get along,’ Arabella was entertained at hearing their conversation.

A few monts later, Rendell opened the door and Blanca was ushered in. She was wearing a Valerian dress.

"Your Majesty!" Blanca bead. She looked like she was about to run to her side, but Riley gave her a glare.

{Where are your manners?} Riley reminded.

[Right, I have to behave well even if it’s just us.]

"Greetings to Your Majesty," Blanca greeted and curtsied gracefully.

’Oh, she did improve a lot,’ Arabella nodded her head in approval.

"Welco back to Valeria."

"Thank you. You may sit down."

Arabella smiled as Blanca seated herself like a proper lady. Even the posture when she was seated was good.

"Have so tea," Arabella baited to see how Blanca would pick up the cup and drink from it.

Blanca held the cup properly and took a sip gracefully. She also maintained a calm and composed aura.

"Well done," Arabella clapped her hands and Blanca blushed.

"D-did I do it well?" she asked nervously.

"Yes, you did well. You improved greatly. If you keep behaving this way, you may be able to enter as one of my maids soon."

"Thank you for your praise, Your Majesty."

’Once Alwin returns, we can send off Renee and have Blanca take her place.’

Blanca already had a made-up family background since she was declared as Alwin’s fiancé. Thus, she could enter as one of Arabella’s maids.

"I’m so happy Your Majesty is safe. I had been worried ever since I heard the news about the poison and the monsters, so I headed here as soon as I felt your presence."

Blanca regretted not going with them to deus. But she wasn’t allowed to leave Valeria yet, back then since she was not yet educated with the current etiquette and manners.

"I’m fine. Everyone protected . As you can see, I’m even much healthier than before," Arabella assured her.

[Ah, yes. Her Majesty does look healthier. And the Great Primordial’s scent on her is much stronger than before.]

’They can really sll it?’

It felt a bit weird for Arabella. She thought only males would be able to sll Ferdinand’s scent on her but apparently even the won.

They chatted for a while and Arabella got updated about Blanca’s education and training.

With how Blanca was behaving, she could be hired as a maid now but that had to wait until Renee (Evania) leaves.

Once she was done with Blanca, they returned to Estrella.

Work ti was already over so Ivan and Ronald had already retired to their rooms.

Arabella also did since she felt so exhausted after everything that happened in a single day. She took a bath and retired to her room.

’The issue with Sonia would likely be resolved by the Duke soon. We already helped as much as we can, and I can have Dimo stay in Valeria even if sothing goes wrong in Olivier. I have spoken with Narcissa and gave her a good scolding. I hope she reflects and decides what to do. If she’s truly willing to change, she can remain as my assistant. If she doesn’t then, I have to fire her after a month. Who would I hire to take her place? Ah, but she did promise she would change. Let’s see how it goes. Next is Alwin. I hope Alwin returns soon...’

Lost in thought, Arabella fell asleep before she knew it.

This ti, she had another dream about the past.

***

It was a spacious room Arabella hadn’t seen before. There were knights, elves, and so of Ferdinand’s magicians she had t gathered. Riley, Rowan, Elmir, and Zion were there. Raymond and Ferdinand too.

Ferdinand looked gaunt and two decades older than he was now.

They looked like they were having a eting.

"Have you found any sign of Alwin?" Ferdinand’s voice echoed.

Everyone responded that they hadn’t found a trace.

"I shouldn’t have allowed him to go," Ferdinand grimaced.

"I will head to Umbra and find him myself," he declared, and everyone gasped.

"But it’s dangerous. What if sothing happens?"

"The Darkness Dragon lay asleep there. My lord, if you go there, he will awaken and might cause problems again."

"We may not be able to sense Alwin because of a spell. I’m sure he’s alive and well."

They tried to convince Ferdinand not to go but he insisted.

"What if he’s in danger? This is the first ti for and Raymond and even his kin not to feel a trace of his presence. What if he’s dying out there?! We need to find him as soon as possible. He had stayed there for years, and I was able to sense his presence just fine. Sothing must have happened. I will head there myself and find him," Ferdinand debated.

"Then, please allow to go instead," Raymond volunteered.

"No. What about your family? If sothing happened to you as well, who would guide those younglings? They have finally learned to fly and are doing well with dragon magic. You need to stay with them."

’Is he referring to Raymart and Alice?’ Arabella perked up. This seed to be about twenty years in the future (or rather her past life) so Alice and Raymart had already grown up.

"They will be fine. They have already adapted to the ti here so even if I’m gone for a decade or more, it wouldn’t feel too long for them. And I will be fine, Your Majesty. The Darkness Dragon would not allow to die there. He knows our kind are still so few.

"You also cannot leave Valeria as it is now. What if it will take ti to find Alwin? A decade or a century may pass there before we even know it. The flow of ti in Umbra has beco quite different over the years. Are you sure you should leave Her Majesty?" Raymond warned.

Ferdinand finally stopped insisting and had a pained and conflicted expression on his face.

"Please rember what King Elrond said. This is Her Majesty’s last life. She will not be reincarnated in this world again no matter how long you wait. If you want to keep watching over her, you only have this life remaining. If you spend decades in Umbra, Her Majesty may no longer be alive when you return," Raymond added, and Ferdinand paled.

’Eh? It’s my last reincarnation?!’ Arabella blinked repeatedly at what she heard. ’What’s that supposed to an?’
