"I’m not. You are the one who’s a loser. Do you think Her Majesty would praise you for doing much more work than you should because you stole it from your workmates?" Denzel debated.
Narcissa and Denzel ended up debating and Nadia and Odette didn’t know what to do so they just remained silent so they would not get involved in the banter. They did not want to offend any of the two who had a much higher social status than they did.
But the Narcissa and Denzel were too noisy, and the others were visibly getting irritated.
"I didn’t steal it. I am simply helping them. I don’t see anything wrong with that," Narcissa countered.
"Did they ever ask you for help to do it? No, they didn’t. I never heard them say it. And they had been able to complete that much task on a daily basis before, so they could surely do it now as well. If you are making them leave it on purpose so you could get it for yourself, it’s the sa as stealing it," Denzel defended his point.

Arabella blinked repeatedly as she realized that Denzel was right.
Narcissa was trying to do more work than she should have done because she wanted to be recognized as the most capable among all her assistants. She wanted to be the one closest and most trusted by Arabella.
But Narcissa’s actions ruined that instead.
’How can I trust her if she’s hurting my other assistants and pressuring them to do things they didn’t want to do?’
It was also likely the reason why Narcissa bullied Ivan, then Nadia and Odette. She targeted the three who had the best results during selection to eliminate the most difficult rival for her goal.
But what she was doing was not healthy rivalry. She was eliminating her rivals with underhanded ans instead of winning over them with her ability.
’I didn’t think soone would go this far because of competitiveness.’
Arabella already knew that there would be tight competition among her assistants since they were all from different noble households. But she did not expect soone would go this far just to be recognized over the others when they are in an office setup.
She knew a lot of nobles used underhanded tactics so their household would be more powerful than the other, but she did not expect that it would happen even among her assistants.
She thought all of them would be more disciplined and refined than this since they were from the most prestigious houses.
Narcissa didn’t even need to go this far since the Ryvaleh Household was already very influential thanks to Clarisse and their family’s efforts to maintain it over the years.
"You are just envious that I am able to do so much work than you do, aren’t you?" Narcissa further provoked Denzel.
"Why should I? Sure, I would have been envious if you were doing it fairly. But you aren’t. I lost the drive to compete with soone who doesn’t compete fairly. You are just a cheater and a bully at this rate," Denzel pointed out.

Denzel kept silent the past few days since he tried to observe a bit more if his suspicions were right and he concluded it was. Thus, he could no longer keep his mouth shut and decided to intervene when Narcissa did it again.
Narcissa and Denzel kept debating until Felix, who usually had a smiley face, crumpled the paper he was writing on and rose.
"Can’t you see people are trying to concentrate here?!" Felix joined the fray in frustration since he could not work with the two bickering so loudly.
"It’s his fault. Not ," Narcissa quickly passed the bla.
"Huh?! It wasn’t . It’s this corrupted lady here," Denzel pointed to Narcissa.
"You two are too noisy. Get the hell out of here if you are not going to work. You both are a disturbance," Felix glared at the two. And he ended up becoming the target of the two’s hostility, so the bickering got worse as three people did it.
"All of you, QUIET DOWN," Oscar said in the loud commanding voice of a military officer so everyone was stunned and quieted down indeed. He barely speaks so they were even more surprised.
Oscar and Egbert both rose at the sa and drew their swords. They had both remained silent this whole ti and simply kept working but must have reached their limit.
Everyone gasped as the two left their seats with their swords drawn.
’They fight to this extent?! I thought they were doing fine by themselves,’ Arabella held her head and massaged her temples. ’How co it even reaches the point with soone drawing their swords?’
"Please calm, down and sheathe your swords," Norbert, who was the only one who managed to keep silent the whole ti, finally rose. He quickly blocked the two with both hands raised gesturing for them to stop and reminding them, "This is Her Majesty’s office. We cannot damage anything here."
"We are not trying to join their catfight. People are eavesdropping on us," Oscar replied while looking around as if he was searching for sothing. Leaving his back towards Norbert.
"Yes. They are inside this room already," Egbert added and looked around warily as well.
