Arabella stopped herself from smiling at the expression on Alwin’s face after Blanca’s words.

Alwin’s mouth was ajar and he blinked repeatedly when he finally realized what Blanca wanted.

Blanca just needed more mana to recover instantly so she made things complicated to get it until it was Alwin himself who said he would give her as much mana as she wanted.

[This kid! She must have lived among the humans for too long to have learned these petty tricks.]

’Alwin, you fell for it though.’

"You could have just said that from the start instead of making things so complicated. I’ll compensate you with as much mana as you want but not today. I have to heal Esralda too so stop being so selfish," Alwin heaved a deep sigh. Very much relieved that Blanca was not really set on marrying him.

Esralda perked up at hearing she would get healed too. She thought the mana Alwin gave her earlier was her part.

{You will heal Aunt Es?!!}

"Of course, I will. So stop stealing my mana already."

[Esralda is Safiro’s source of greenery. It was because she was cursed to not be able to recover which was why Safiro suffered from drought. It will take so much mana but Esralda and her forest have to be restored for Safiro to be able to truly recover.]

{But Aunt Es is three thousand years old. It would take so much mana since her whole forest was burned and cursed. Only her trunk and roots were left. Can you really still heal her?} Blanca was hopeful. She was overwheld that Esralda wouldn’t necessarily have to die soon.

"I can. Just wait and see," Alwin replied confidently.

Blanca was a bit doubtful but she knew that Alwin did have so much mana since she was able to get a lot from him to be able to recover this much compared to all her efforts of hundreds of years. Alwin rid her body of the poison and cured her wings so easily too.

"I’ll give you enough mana so you can awaken and turn into your human form. The rest is for later," Alwin said and voluntarily gave more mana to Blanca this ti.

Blanca’s body grew a bit and she now had the size of a year-old horse. Her body glowed and in a few seconds, she turned into human form. She slowly rose with Alwin and Esralda’s help.

’She’s so pretty!’ Arabella was chard by a ten-year-old-looking Blanca. The girl was adorable and cute. But if you look closely, Blanca gave off a powerful and mysterious aura.

Blanca had long white hair that flowed down to her waist. Her skin was pale and her eyes were blue. She was wearing a beautiful white dress that suited her.

"Yay! Thank you, Mr. Elf! This is the first ti in hundreds of years that I can finally transform. I’m so happy," Blanca bead at Alwin.

"My na is Alwin. And you should address as ’Your Eminence’ once we are in the Imperial Palace," Alwin strictly corrected.

"Aye, Sir!" Blanca replied and Arabella couldn’t help giggling at the distress on Alwin’s face as he worried about how the little girl would behave in the palace.

[She looks so adorable when she laughs. But why is the reason she’s laughing because of Alwin? Just looking at Alwin can make her laugh like this?]

Arabella flinched at her husband’s thoughts. She glanced at him and he had such a bitter look on his face. He instantly reverted to a poker face when he realized she was looking.

’What am I going to do with this man? Should I shower him with lots of attention so he would stop being so insecure and jealous of every little thing?’

Arabella sighed and Ferdinand thought looking at him made her sigh while looking at Alwin made her laugh.

Arabella didn’t have ti to worry about him though as Blanca greeted them and hugged Esralda.

"Aunt Es, thank you for helping all this ti," Blanca and Esralda were both in tears happy to see each other like this instead of just telepathically communicating with each other.

Since they were done securing Blanca and healing her, it was Esralda’s turn.

{Do you wish to go to Estrella, or do you wish to stay here? I have a way to bring you to Estrella if you want to. There’s an empty island I can transfer your whole tree to. If I relocate you to Estrella before healing you, it wouldn’t consu too much mana. I would be able to use much more mana there as well so I can help you grow your roots and encompass the whole island.} Alwin gave Esralda a very tempting offer.

{If this offer was made to a long ti ago, I would have gladly accepted. But now, I cannot leave my children here. The Safirans are my flesh and blood. I cannot leave them alone after watching them suffer for years. I want to be able to help them again.} Esralda chose to stay.

Arabella learned from their conversation that Safiro was the na of Esralda’s husband. He was a warrior who protected Esralda when her tree was about to be cut. Safiro was human and the Safirans now were their descendants.

Marriage from mixed races between Esralda and Safiro led them to have half-nymph and half-human offspring.

So gained strong powers like Esralda and it allowed them to leave and create their own forests. So had weaker powers and so were only able to use a bit of magic.

Those who remained in Mt. Es got married to humans just as Esralda did and soon, their numbers grew into a village.

Several hundred years passed and they beca an entire tribe. They were the Safiro Tribe and were now called the Safirans.

As the years passed by, the Safirans lost their magical abilities and were not even able to make trees sprout. They beca normal humans that had a bit of nymph blood running in their veins.
