Arabella was wide-eyed when all the newly knighted Safirans groaned in pain a few seconds after they drank the potion Alwin gave them.

Bernardo covered his face with one hand and gritted his teeth in pain.

Miguel and Manuel held their arms that had been cut to the elbow. They bit the collar of their clothes to muffle their groan.

The others also held at various parts of their body as they groaned and writhed in pain; so even fell to their knees.

"What’s happening?!" Arabella asked in alarm looking back and forth between Ferdinand and Alwin for explanation.

"So of their injuries from monsters were riddled with toxins and miasma. It’s rather a wonder they are all still alive despite their bodies already poisoned this much. It seems they have gained so resistance to it but their bodies are still in danger," Alwin explained.

Bernardo and his n were shocked about this. They did not even know about it. Yet, Alwin knew without having to examine them.

Arabella learned from Alwin and Ferdinand’s thoughts though that they could see the miasma from wounds that the monsters inflicted even if it had closed and were just scars now. It wasn’t visible to human eyes but was easy to spot for them.

[This must be due to the dryad’s power protecting them. If she can still protect them from afar, they must be her kin.] Ferdinand thought.

’Her kin?’ Arabella blinked repeatedly wondering if it ant the dryad was an ancestor of the Safirans.

It ant Nadia and everyone in Safiro had the blood of the long-lived races. But since Safirans had the lifespan of normal humans, Arabella figured it must have been a long ti ago.

"My arm grew back?!" Miguel exclaid.

"Mine too!!"Manuel seconded.

Arabella was astonished as she glanced at the two and their arms indeed grew back as if they had never been cut before.

"We can use both hands again!!!" Miguel and Manuel embraced each other.

The twins were so emotional because they thought they would never be able to use their other hands again. Yet, here they were, having both their hands again.

They had apparently lost their forearms during one of the tis they tried to enter Safiro borders. It was beaten off by a monster that appeared out of nowhere. Miguel and Manuel almost got swallowed up whole if Bernardo wasn’t able to grab them.

"Remove your eyepatch. It’s no longer necessary," Alwin instructed Bernardo and the latter gulped.

Bernardo’s hands trembled slightly as he nervously undid his eyepatch. And when he did, their fellow warriors were astonished to see Bernardo’s right eye which had beco blind from injury was back.

There was supposed to be an ugly gash in his right eye and scars that made it worse. But it was all gone and no scar was left on his face.

"I... I can see with both of my eyes again?!" Bernardo looked around and was stunned to silence that his vision in his right eye was indeed back.

The other Safirans also discovered that all their scars and discomforts from forr injuries were all gone. Not a bit of a sign was left to indicate it was there before.

Once again, they all kneeled in thanks, still dumbstruck and overwheld by everything that was going on. So were even crying. Even the Safiro siblings were barely holding it in.

The warriors pledged their loyalty to Ferdinand and Valeria as a whole from now henceforth.

Soon, Dante and his fellow warriors who remained in Safiro quickly finished bathing and joined them. They were also knighted by Ferdinand for keeping their fellow Safirans safe despite the difficult tis they went through.

Riley arrived shortly after with Alfredo and all the palace chefs with the food in tow. They were all shocked at the surroundings they saw but instantly gathered themselves and greeted when they saw Ferdinand.

Alfredo and the palace chefs then served food as the Safirans had finished bathing.

[Is it because everyone took a bath? I couldn’t sll the usual stench at all.] Nadia wondered.

’It’s because of our capable magician here,’ Arabella thought. Upon arrival in the residential area earlier, she learned that Ferdinand instructed Alwin to use magic to clear the stench in the air coming from the residential area before they picked her up.

The residences hadn’t been cleaned with water where it was needed so it slled bad. But Alwin was simply too capable and just used magic to rid them of the nasty odor.

[Sothing slls delicious.]

[There’s food!!]

[The food slls good!]

[I’m hungry all of a sudden.]

Those who had been in Safiro this whole ti were all overwheld as they got a whiff of the fragrant food. It had been a while since they were last able to have a al that slled so good and looked this delicious.

Alfredo and all the chefs were overwheld as they watched the Safirans cry with tears of joy and relief as they ate the food they had prepared.

Arabella had suggested bringing the chefs along to help serve the food because she wanted them to see just how much delight their food can bring to other people.

The chefs got pumped up to prepare even better food for the Safirans. They were motivated to do even better so they eagerly went back to the Imperial Kitchen to prepare a more delicious al for the Safirans.

The Safirans, anwhile, were overjoyed by the delicious al they were having. It was just bread and soup and so fruits but they were so happy since it tasted so different from the food they usually had.

Nadia said that it was because the soup they always ate barely had any ingredients. It was bland. She didn’t know the difference before after she got used to it. But after staying in Cordelia for a while, and even visiting Riva, she realized the difference.

Because there was no food in Safiro, they were grateful for every single al they were able to have no matter what it was. They didn’t care about the taste as long as they were able to eat sothing to alleviate their hunger. They got used to the taste of the bland soup given to them as well. This was what they were for so long that having a al that tasted so delicious was so foreign yet, very much welco to them.

This was the first ti the Safirans were able to eat such a delicious al.

Even Bernardo and the warriors had so many praises for it.

Even those who had stayed in Cordelia never tasted sothing like this before even though they had been eating delicious als in Cordelia.

It spoke so much about the skills of the Imperial Palace Chefs but likewise of just how much the Safirans have suffered.

’Did I commit another sin?!’

Arabella was horrified when she realized that these people may have a picky taste from now on after getting a taste of the food in the palace. They might taste other food as bland or average after this.

If they would never be able to eat food the sa way again, it would be her fault for making the Imperial Chefs be the one to prepare the als.

’Oh, I can alternately send so of the chefs to teach them Valerian cuisine. In exchange, they can teach the chefs Safiran cuisine.’

Arabella found a solution to her problem. It would also help to boost the confidence and sense of achievent of the chefs while it would help the Safirans learn how to prepare Valerian cuisine.

After the al was done, Alwin and the magicians made temporary living quarters for the Safirans.

They would have to wait to rebuild new houses once the materials arrive from the palace.

The help for Safiro coming from the Imperial Palace was also announced and the people were so relieved and grateful that their daily routine of working all day and all night in the mines was finally over.

Further, with Alwin’s healing and the potions given to the people, a complete but light al was served the following day.

And on the third day, the Safirans were already able to eat full-course als twice a day and just a light al for dinner.

On the fourth day, the food supply and clothing coming from Riva were teleported to Safiro.

Cooking utensils, ingredients, and spices were also among them. Thus, the Safirans began to cook for themselves on the fourth day.

Fruits and vegetables also arrived from Cordelia and Arno also sent food supplies.

There was no storage available yet, so Alwin made a storage area out of magic.

The Safirans were also feeling better and better with the doctors and magicians checking on their health every day.

Arabella thought it would take months for the Safirans to gain a healthy body but it seed so easy with the help of magicians. The Safirans were not allowed to strain themselves yet though.

However, on the sixth day, everyone was terrified when the ground shook and monsters appeared everywhere all of a sudden. They surrounded everyone.

It was so sudden that Arabella knew it was because of magic.

The people were terrified but Ferdinand and the knights were there.
