Chapter 20 Listen Up, You Inside! You Are Surrounded!
Before Lei Luo was promoted to Chief Inspector, he was one of the four senior inspectors. Each of them had their own affiliated forces and gangs.
Later, Alo, with his extraordinary abilities, restructured the black market business on Hong Kong Island. With this, he overshadowed the other three and beca the recognized leader of the underworld. However, despite this, the other three’s influence remained intact.
Blue Steel was determined to rise to power and replace Lei Luo’s position. But the other two, Yan and Han, had no such grand ambitions; they were content with steady profits.
But having reached their current status, could they truly be free of any ambition?
After receiving a call from Alo, Yan hesitated for a while but ultimately chose to et with him. From the ti he went to Yang He Hospital to when he left, it took no more than half an hour. But when Yan left, he was visibly excited, his entire deanor filled with energy.
Upon returning to his station, Yan imdiately called back all the officers he had sent to search for drug dealers. Police cars parked at the station, and the officers were quickly assigned to vehicles.
One of Yan’s trusted n voiced concern, suggesting that acting without orders might offend Blue Steel. Yan swiftly slapped him across the face.
“What’s the point of catching a couple of small-ti dealers?”
“If we’re going to do this, we go after the big fish!”
An hour later, Yan set off with several hundred ard officers. anwhile, Zhu Youzi, accompanied by Yi Qun’s n, arrived at a warehouse area outside the old docks. He entered an auto repair shop, lifted the mat on the ground, and imdiately found the hidden drugs beneath.
The large pit, originally used for washing car wastewater, was now filled with plastic bags of powder. Yi Qun’s n jumped into the pit and carelessly opened a bag, wiping a little powder on their hands.
“Luo Ge, this is our stuff.”
“Hmph, check for yourselves. I’m going out for a smoke,” Zhu Youzi scoffed.
He walked out of the warehouse while Alo continued to flatter him, only to be ignored. Alo looked on as Zhu Youzi walked away, thinking that when Hao Ge returned, he might have to involve him in sorting this out.
Suddenly, one of the n shouted, “Luo Ge! Sothing’s wrong! It’s all mud down there!”
“Damn it! The goods have been soaked in li water! They’re ruined!”
Alo felt a chill run down his spine, his hair standing on end!
He quickly turned around, only to see Zhu Youzi running for the door. The auto repair shop was huge, built to accommodate large trucks and could hold hundreds of people without issue.
All of Yi Qun’s n were inside, with only a few underlings guarding the outside. Zhu Youzi shot them down one by one as he moved forward.
“Zhu Youzi! You’re betraying us!?”
Alo roared and rushed outside with his n. As they reached the door, floodlights suddenly lit up!
Behind the lights were police cars that had surrounded the entire shop. Yan, smiling broadly, greeted Zhu Youzi.
“Good job, this is your accomplishnt as well.”
“Listen, everyone inside! You are surrounded! Drop your weapons and co out to surrender!”
“If you resist, don’t bla , Yan, for going on a killing spree tonight!”
“Officers, imdiately release the safeties and prepare to fire!”
Yan, holding a loudspeaker, gave the order, and every officer raised their guns. With hundreds of guns pointed at them, Alo and his n looked as pale as ghosts.
The situation was clear—Zhu Youzi had set them up. They realized that Zhu Youzi was clearly working with Yan!
“Zhu Youzi, aren’t you afraid Luo Ge will find out?” Alo yelled fiercely.
But the response he got was Yan’s cold countdown. The encirclent was tight, and with everyone’s weapons drawn, Alo had no choice but to surrender.
Zhu Youzi, sitting in the car, finally allowed himself a cold smile. He lowered the car window and looked at Yan outside, informing him that there were large amounts of drugs inside the warehouse.
By capturing these drug dealers and the drugs, not only would the Commissioner of Police be pleased, but the public outrage would also be quelled. This was such a big accomplishnt that even Yan himself could hardly believe it.
“Don’t ntion it, Zai Ge, I’m just doing this for Luo Ge.”
Hearing Yan’s words, Zhu Youzi couldn’t help but glance at him. With those thick eyebrows and large eyes, it was surprising to see how quickly he’d jumped sides!
Yan’s side had gained imnse rit. However, on Blue Steel’s side, bad news kept coming in!
First, he had worked with the Digital Gang to collect all the remaining drugs from Hong Kong Island’s other gangs. But before they could even warm up, the warehouse where the Digital Gang had stored the drugs was set on fire!
Although they had saved over half of the goods by acting quickly, the loss was still significant. Before the furious Sang Gou and Blue Steel could react, they were told that Yi An Society had taken down the Digital Gang’s stash!
“Rebellious!”
“Yi An Society has so nerve!”
“Imdiately notify Ayao and have him bring the Walled City n out!”
Blue Steel, enraged, imdiately ordered the Digital Gang and Walled City to retaliate. He also tried to mobilize the police, but he learned that Yan had pulled his forces. Blue Steel was beside himself with rage.
Short-handed already, Yan had pulled his n, and now it was impossible to suppress Yi An Society in the short term. With only the Digital Gang and Walled City left to fight, it had turned into a gang war!
At this critical point, if the press got hold of this, the public outrage would be explosive!
“Does Yan have no respect for , the overall commander?”
“Where the hell did he go?”
Blue Steel, furious, smashed everything in his path, his eyes bloodshot. A sense of dread filled him as he realized that everything seed to be part of a larger sche.
There was an invisible hand pulling the strings behind all of this, and he was just a puppet in the middle of it. But at this point, Blue Steel had no other choice.
He could only wait, wait for his police force to assemble before he could go after Yi An Society. He sent word to Sang Gou, telling him to keep the Digital Gang n steady and avoid escalating things. But Yi An Society showed no rcy.
Not only did they destroy the place and kill people, but they also threatened to dismantle the Digital Gang entirely. At this point, Sang Gou couldn’t hold back his n, and the heads of the Digital Gang’s districts began to take action. Gang mbers in Kowloon City were gathering in greater numbers. Yi An Society, Digital Gang, and the Walled City kept raising the stakes!
Many residents in Kowloon could feel the danger and began locking themselves in. Journalists risked their lives to sneak photos, witnessing the bloody street battles. Gang mbers, ard with machetes in the night, moved like demons. In one night, Kowloon City had turned into hell!
anwhile, in the northwest waters of Japan Island, Huo Dong was aboard a light cargo ship, advancing in the sea. A long pole on his ship flickered with lights in the night, like a signal beacon…
