"Kill them all—" Instantly, a flash of cold light passed, and two more heads lay on the ground.
"Marquis—" the trusted aide imdiately looked towards Old Master Wen Kang, who had an ironclad expression, the stabbing pain in his arm stimulating his nerves, his temples pulsating intensely.
Old Master Wen Kang imdiately swept his gaze across the Imperial Forest Guard, the sky growing even grayer.
"Strike—" Old Master Wen Kang said coldly, and instantly, the guards behind him charged towards the people ahead. The sounds of clashing erupted imdiately, and blood flowed in rivers.

"Has she not been found?" Zheng Haoyuan’s face was stern as he looked grimly at his people. How could his cousin sister have run away on her own? His cousin wouldn’t leave, especially now when it was so dangerous.

"Are they gone?" Zheng Nianru asked Nanny Yun beside her.
"They are gone. Lu Hu took people towards the palace. Commandery Princess, you really have a way," Nian Xia said, and the others nodded in agreent. They weren’t unwilling to follow, but they couldn’t; in Zheng Haoyuan’s hands, they were like being in the enemy’s grip—pawns of the Wen Family, vulnerabilities of Zheng Congyuan.
Zheng Nianru naturally wouldn’t be foolish enough to use herself to test whether Zheng Congyuan valued her more than his realm. She had already learned the answer in her past life, so why suffer the sa again?

Nanny Yun looked around and shook her head.

There’s a farmhouse ahead; perhaps we can borrow so clothing," Nanny Yun suggested as she pointed to a small house in the distance. Zheng Nianru agreed, thus, gathering her strength, she headed toward the small house.
Not far behind them, two stealthy figures quietly followed, unnoticed by anyone.
