Hearing this, Teddy wriggled out of the old master’s arms and toddled towards Adam, holding a rose in his hand. Adam grinned so widely that his teeth showed, feeling a bit acknowledged.
Little did he know, just as he spread his arms to catch Teddy, the little one walked past him and happily reached out to Abigail, “Mama, mama, here’s a flower… flower…”
Just as Adam slowly turned back, ready to reprimand the old master, he saw Teddy stumble to Abigail’s side and hand the flower to her.
Abigail smiled, her almond eyes curving, and she hugged the little one tightly, kissing him on the cheek.
Overjoyed from the kiss, Teddy tried to kiss Abigail in return.
Adam’s mouth twitched. Awkwardly but politely, he retracted his arms, silently denouncing the monster’s child as a little monster, knowing so early how to please his mom, a little genius!

“Aren’t you worried?” Adam couldn’t hold back.
“Just a bunch of jokers.” Brandon replied indifferently.
Adam was fuming. Those jokers almost tarnished your reputation, big brother!
But he didn’t dare retort, only muttering, “I want to play with Teddy.”
Brandon glared at him, then looked at his son clinging to his wife, “Hold him.”
