Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Return Double!

“I’m asking for death? Fat bitch, how did you promise us in the first place?” Ruby Green sat in a wheelchair. She had been having soone keep an eye on Abigail Green’s movents and heard she had left Piers’ Mansion, so she chased after her.

Abigail’s neck had already turned red, and her white shirt was stained brown by coffee. She looked at Ruby in the wheelchair with cold eyes. “What did I promise you?”

“Of course, you promised to give up the child…” Ruby stopped midway, noticing people in the café glancing over. “Let’s find a place to talk.”

“Sure, but…”

“But what?” Ruby hated Abigail, but she now hoped this fat bitch would clarify things with George Piers, granting her custody of the child, and also their engagent.

She still harbored fantasies about the Piers family, so she asked eagerly.

But as soon as she finished speaking, she saw Abigail pulling out two hundred dollars from her bag and placing it on the waiter’s tray. Then she took two cups of coffee and walked toward her.

Ruby felt sothing was wrong. She instinctively tried to retreat but forgot she was in a wheelchair. She tried to push the wheelchair back but was too late. She simply glared at Abigail. “If you dare, don’t think I won’t… Ah, ah, ah…”

Before she could finish her sentence, two cups of coffee were poured over Ruby’s head, causing her to scream out in pain. The café’s patrons were stunned and looked over.

Abigail looked at the bedraggled Ruby. “I like to take double revenge.”

“You… how dare you? Don’t think I won’t tell your father and have him deal with you!” Ruby knew that this fat bitch was always afraid of Lincoln Green. In the past, whenever she wanted sothing, ntioning Lincoln would make Abigail imdiately obey.

But this ti, after Ruby finished speaking, she noticed that Abigail rely glanced at her with contempt.

Ruby’s eyes widened in anger. “Abigail Green!”

“Are we still talking?” Abigail asked Ruby leisurely, now feeling satisfied.

“I… yes!” Ruby wanted to curse, but considering the surrounding gazes and the matter at hand, she swallowed her anger.

Abigail asked the waiter for a private room and took Ruby inside.

“Speak.” Abigail stood and looked down at Ruby in the wheelchair.

Ruby detested this feeling and looked up proudly at Abigail. “I’ll give you a million dollars to leave George Piers. I’ll take good care of him for you. The Green family will also accept you. I’ll have my mom convince your dad to forgive you and reinstate your academic record so you can continue studying at dical school.”

“Ha.” Abigail looked at Ruby, who had a condescending expression as if she were doling out charity and expected her to kneel in gratitude. She felt disdainful of her forr self. How had she allowed herself to be killed by such an ignorant fool on the birthing bed? How foolish and cowardly she must have been.

But she was not her forr self.

“What are you laughing at? Not enough money? That’s a million dollars!” Ruby was displeased with Abigail’s attitude.

Abigail looked at Ruby, amused. “Do you know how much the Piers’ assets are worth?”

“You… you really think you can get the Piers’ assets? Look at yourself in the mirror, do you think you deserve it?” Ruby knew very well what the Piers’ assets were worth. She just hadn’t expected this fat bitch would dare to covet them, as if it were sothing she could dream of.

“I don’t deserve it, but you do?” Abigail looked aningfully at Ruby’s legs. At the engagent party, when she saw Ruby standing unscathed, she had been suspicious. Now, seeing Ruby in a wheelchair, she sharply sensed that sothing was wrong with Ruby’s legs.

Ruby was now most wary of anyone scrutinizing her legs. She glared viciously at Abigail. “Naturally, I am more deserving than you. Aren’t you afraid the Green family will disown you?”

“With the Piers family, why would I need the Green family?”

“You!”
