Mary Scott’s upcoming magazine interview spread like wildfire, attracting attention throughout the entertainnt industry in just half an hour.

David Locke was already at the center of controversy, yet neither he nor his studio had accepted any interviews, rely issuing lawyer letters to the defars.

But now, Mary Scott, who has countless ties with him, suddenly wants to do an interview, and a live one at that, which inevitably stirs up a sensation.

Even before the interview began, the Entertainnt Weekly live stream not only attracted a large number of onlookers, but also drew in quite a few industry professionals.

Even everyone at David Locke’s company was closely watching the still blank screen.

anwhile, in a villa in Rose Valley, the lighting technician had already set the scene, and Mary Scott was discussing the upcoming interview with Sumr Lucy.

"Assistant Anderson just said he’d prefer not to ntion Director Locke during the interview; I wanted to touch base with you on that," Sumr Lucy spoke softly, appearing unthreatening, but those who truly know her understand that her articles are extrely sharp, often hitting the nail on the head.

And Mary Scott, having spent many years in the entertainnt circle, knew this journalist’s style. So when Sumr Lucy brought up the topic, Mary Scott already guessed she wouldn’t be able to avoid talking about David Locke today.

Luckily, she didn’t plan to avoid it anyway.

"What does Reporter Sumr think?" Mary Scott didn’t imdiately express her opinion but threw the question back.

"We’re collecting the ten most wanted questions from netizens about you online, and inevitably so will involve Director Locke. I hope Miss Scott can understand," Sumr Lucy continued probing.

Mary Scott pondered for a mont, "So questions, I cannot answer for him."

"That’s alright, you have the right to refuse," Sumr Lucy sensed Mary Scott’s stance, knowing certain questions were allowable as long as they didn’t cross Mary Scott’s boundaries, which lifted her mood. She glanced at the ti, "Shall we start then?"

"Alright." Mary Scott nodded.

Sumr Lucy signaled ’OK’ to the photographer and lighting technician, and the next second the live video was connected, showing both Mary Scott and Sumr Lucy on cara.

The two greeted the cara and then Sumr Lucy made a brief introduction before promptly diving into the main topic.

David Locke sat in the office, his gaze fixed on Mary Scott on the screen.

Unlike the pale, haggard look she had when waking up in the morning, the woman in the cara was now impeccably made up, composed, and confident, without any of the drunken antics or the usual charming cuteness she showed around him. At this mont, Mary Scott exuded the poised elegance of a female star, every smile carrying a hint of allure.

He couldn’t resist reaching out to the screen, gently stroking it a few tis, while over at Martin Jonah’s side with the PR team, they too were focusing on the live stream.

Unlike David Locke, who was watching his beloved person, the team was observing Mary Scott’s every word and action so they could respond swiftly and effectively to any possible negative remarks about David Locke that might arise.

The live stream began with harmless small talk between the two, but as ti passed, Sumr Lucy’s questions beca increasingly pointed.

"Miss Scott, have you been following online comnts about Director Locke lately?" As Sumr Lucy posed this question, the initially relaxed atmosphere in the live stream room suddenly shifted, tense like a drawn bow.

Mary Scott knew Sumr Lucy would ask about David Locke, but she didn’t expect this approach. She was taken aback but nodded; after all, with David Locke’s scandal so massive, how could she, as his wife, not pay attention, especially considering she had tweeted about it.

Sumr Lucy smiled, as if still chatting casually with Mary Scott, "Since Miss Scott has been following, what are your thoughts on Director Locke’s remarks insulting won?"

"Whoa, that’s so direct! Go Sumr Lucy!" Comnts exploded when Sumr Lucy asked the first question, and now with this statent, they were even more ecstatic, filling the screen with praises for Sumr Lucy.

anwhile, on the other side of the video in David Locke’s office, Martin Jonah and the PR personnel were all on high alert. Martin Jonah, undeterred, approached David Locke, "Director Locke, should you contact Miss Scott to end the interview?"

David Locke, still wearing a mask, tapped the desk with his hand, paused as if contemplating when Martin Jonah thought he would agree, but then the man ceased his movent, "There’s no need, let her be."

Martin Jonah’s eyes turned red, "Director Locke, this involves your career, if she says anything reckless, you’re done..."

"She won’t." David Locke replied with firm certainty. He felt a mont of unease at the beginning too, but seeing Sumr Lucy and hearing her questions to Mary Scott about him, with Mary Scott’s calm deanor, he knew Mary Scott ca prepared.

But while David Locke trusted Mary Scott, others couldn’t, especially since Martin Jonah learned that morning that David Locke’s face was injured by Mary Scott - her already negative impression was worsened, "How can you guarantee she won’t speak recklessly? Moreover, your career doesn’t just concern you, it’s about the people in the company. If you are ruined, what happens to us? What about the investors of ’The Geisha’, ’The Doctors’? The producers who invested money and effort, and all the staff involved, what should they do?"

"I’m aware." David Locke’s gaze on Martin Jonah now bore displeasure.

But just as David Locke finished speaking, Mary Scott’s voice erged on the big screen, clearly responding to Sumr Lucy’s earlier question, "Insulting won? He can’t possibly just insult won..."

Martin Jonah, already emotional, was further provoked by Mary Scott’s words, and she ignored whatever Mary Scott continued to say, focusing intently on David Locke. She couldn’t understand what was so good about that woman; if not for her, Director Locke wouldn’t be in such a predicant.

Despite this, he remained steadfast in defending her, but what about that woman?

Martin Jonah clenched her fist fiercely, "Since Director Locke is reluctant to stop Miss Scott, then I’ll do it!"

With that, Martin Jonah disregarded David Locke’s stance and swiftly turned to leave.

David Locke’s eyes darkened as he dialed the number to Martin Jonah, "Go, bring your sister back."

Ending the call, David Locke’s phone continued streaming the live video as Mary Scott answered Sumr Lucy’s previous question, "Has Reporter Sumr ever seen Director Locke filming?"

Sumr Lucy shook her head, "Director Locke never allows reporters to visit the set."

"Do you know why?" Mary Scott smiled and asked.

Sumr Lucy looked puzzled. She knew David Locke was friends with Michael Piers and aware of this director’s indulgence, but as he wasn’t a star in the magazine, she didn’t know much about him.

Mary Scott shrugged, "Because he’s constantly yelling at people on set. Yelling at won, yelling at n, yelling at kids, yelling at elderly people, yelling at utility n, even yelling at props... anything he thinks doesn’t et his standards is fair ga for rebuke. I think people claim he insults won, really overestimate him, he doesn’t just insult won; if you don’t fit his standards, everything is subject to insult."

Sumr Lucy was taken aback, "And what about you? I heard you two are very loving?"

Sumr Lucy used "heard," because lately David Locke’s scandals were everywhere, plus everyone knew his past affairs well, leading them to doubt any significant change post-marriage.

And how could a man with such promiscuous habits focus on loving one person? So it really cos down to different interpretations of ’loving.’

Mary Scott didn’t expect Sumr Lucy to be so astute, but she had been waiting for this chance, Mary Scott feigned a bitter smile, "Do you believe that our reunion was at the set, he recognized only after yelling at to the point of tears, and because I poorly portrayed a role back then, he kicked the props directly."

"So scary?" Sumr Lucy cooperatively covered her mouth.

"Yeah, later I heard he once insulted a popular male actor, saying his chest was so well-toned he should be a nanny at a royal mansion? It has led to many actors in the industry both wanting to act in his films but fearing it too, and worrying when they might be furiously ousted from the set. Anyway, treasure your life and stay away from Director Locke." Mary Scott said with fear, patting her chest.

Sumr Lucy was dumbfounded, "Did Director Locke really scold people like that?"

"Why would I lie to you? You can ask people later; there were quite a few at the scene," Mary Scott said, then suddenly realized, "He already has a bad reputation. Would what I said cause more backlash against him?"

Sumr Lucy nodded seriously, "Yes, it would."

Mary Scott, "..."

The two seed to be gossiping, driving the comnts section crazy.

People thought Mary Scott’s interview was either to distance herself from David Locke or to clear his na, but they didn’t expect her to neither distance nor defend him. Instead, she started with a straight-up tsukkomi.

Ironically, everyone loved listening to her tsukkomi, and so quickly dug into which male celebrity got scolded. Soon, they had a target. It wasn’t that the internet users were overly skilled; quite a few male celebrities who fit Mary Scott’s description have worked with Director Locke, are well-known, and have a big chest. But among them, one had the nickna "Wet Nurse," which made it much easier.

Previously, internet users didn’t understand why, but now the mystery was solved. It turns out the "Wet Nurse" nickna of a certain male celebrity with the surna Piers wasn’t from playing gas but because of David Locke.

However, people quickly realized that the person was originally only sowhat famous, but after starring in David Locke’s movie, he won Best Actor and went from a second or third-tier to a top-tier star.

Damn, getting scolded was so worth it, right?

Everyone furiously scrolled the screen, waiting for more gossip from Mary Scott.

The comnts went wild, "Mary Scott: Can you even compare to how black I am when it cos to my husband?"

In the villa, Mary Scott had no idea the internet users had gone crazy. She awkwardly smiled at Sumr Lucy, "Wasn’t this an interview with ? Next question."

"I saw that Miss Scott asked everyone to give Director Locke so ti when the rumors first surfaced, but what we got was a video with solid evidence. What do you have to say about that?" Sumr Lucy didn’t let Mary Scott go, not changing the direction and instead posing a sharper question.

Mary Scott’s expression changed slightly, and she cast her gaze downward.

The comnts went crazy again.

"Is she admitting her husband cheated?"

"Oh my god, is she going to totally destroy Director Locke?"

"What Director Locke? Scumbag Locke is more like it!"

"..."

Sumr Lucy was very surprised to see Mary Scott like this. Could it be that the matter between Director Locke and Miss Saxton was true?

But just as the internet users outside the comnts were about to conclude the matter of David Locke, Mary Scott suddenly looked up, "I’m quite upset about this matter. Although we hadn’t reunited or been together at the ti, as won, we all sowhat mind the other’s romantic history. But I won’t comnt on his and Miss Saxton’s dealings because I wasn’t there, and I don’t know what really happened."

"Didn’t Director Locke explain this to you afterward?" Sumr Lucy pressed on.

"He said nothing happened with Miss Saxton, but you know how n are; they are not to be trusted. Besides, it happened before I reunited with him, so whatever he says goes, I suppose... there’s nothing much I can do." Mary Scott suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

Sumr Lucy, like the people outside the comnts, was intensely curious and asked, "What did you do to Director Locke?"

"Hehe, nothing, nothing at all. Weren’t you here to interview ? If you keep this up, I’m going to get angry." Mary Scott said in an evasive tone, quickly changing the subject.

But as Mary Scott dodged the question, the curiosity among the millions of viewers in the live stream grew even stronger. They were very eager to know what Mary Scott had indeed done to David Locke.

This ti, Sumr Lucy didn’t follow everyone’s wishes to continue questioning Mary Scott, but instead she genuinely asked so questions about Mary Scott herself, like Mary Scott’s impressions of participating in "Detectives and Wilderness," amusing stories from filming the variety show, and her future career plans.

In summary, Sumr Lucy asked a lot, but not the question the public wanted to know.

This left the live stream viewers in agony. Since Mary Scott didn’t answer, couldn’t they guess for themselves? So said Mary Scott divorced David Locke; so guessed Mary Scott kicked David Locke out of bed; so guessed Mary Scott prevented David Locke from eating; so guessed Mary Scott made David Locke kneel on durians...

The most popular comnt was, "If my husband got involved in such a scandal with another woman, even if it was before marriage, I’d hit him first before saying another word."

By the end of the live interview, all related tags about Mary Scott and David Locke were trending on social dia.

In no ti, among a hundred trending searches, seven to eight were related to Mary Scott and David Locke, driving everyone crazy with furious typing.

Because Mavis Jonah wasn’t a resident of Rose Valley, by the ti she stord to Rose Valley, she still couldn’t get in. By the ti the live stream ended, the first thing she saw was ’Mary Scott is Director Locke’s biggest anti-fan’ on the trending list.

Mavis Jonah already held a grudge against Mary Scott, and seeing these tags, none of which were favorable to David Locke, she was extrely furious.

When Martin Jonah caught up to her, he saw his sister pounding on the car in anger, attracting the attention of reporters blocked outside Rose Valley. Among them, eagle-eyed ones imdiately recognized him.

Martin Jonah was startled, not daring to waste words, he pulled Mavis Jonah into his car and drove away.

But Mavis Jonah struggled, growling lowly, "Let go! I need to clarify things with the reporters. How could she tarnish Director Locke like this when he’s been nothing but good to her, almost giving her his heart, and yet this woman, for her own sake, tarnishes Director Locke this way..."

"Wow, are you David Locke’s executive assistant? Quick, quick, follow them!" soone shouted at that mont.

The crowd suddenly surged toward Martin Jonah and Mavis Jonah.

Martin Jonah’s face sank, and he cursed inwardly, this is bad!
