Shi i curved her lips into a smile, "This is what I used to play as a child."

Shi Lingyan sat beside her, looking down at the piano keys. His mory was sowhat fuzzy, but upon hearing her words, he humd lightly, "You only ever taught this one."

"Fine, sit down, and I’ll teach you sothing else," Shi i said, raising her eyebrows. Her fingers pressed the piano keys, and the tune that erged was unmistakably "The Arican Patrol."

Shi Lingyan quickly caught up with the rhythm, the lively and relaxing lody now even more imbued with childlike innocence and charm.

Grandma Shi watched the silhouettes of her grandson and his future bride in secret, thinking that they were truly a match made in heaven.

But...

Why did this scene feel so familiar?

Grandma Shi pondered for a mont before turning to see Aunt Chen with a similarly puzzled expression.

So, Grandma Shi shuffled over to Aunt Chen and whispered, "Don’t you think this scene seems a bit familiar?"

Aunt Chen glanced at Grandma Shi’s expression and nodded, saying, "Back in the day, the young master and Miss Tang also played the piano like this."

"Right!" Grandma Shi’s face lit up with surprise, followed by a look of realization, "I knew it felt familiar; it really is sothing I’ve seen before. But back then, it seed like Ling Yan and Tang Wu were playing a tune..."

"It seed to be this very song," Aunt Chen wasn’t sure if she rembered correctly as she scratched her head, "I haven’t heard many piano pieces, but I rember the lody of this song. I’m sure it’s the one they were playing. Back then, I saw Miss Tang teaching the young master himself, correcting every single note, so professional."

"But did you just hear what the lad said? She only ever taught him this song, but back then, the one teaching him... was clearly Tang Wu..." Grandma Shi said and suddenly felt a shiver, "Could it be..."

"Tut-tut-tut, don’t speak of people during the day, and don’t speak of ghosts during the night," Aunt Chen patted Grandma Shi’s hand, "Let’s not talk about such nonsensical things. The Senior Sister is very much alive, whereas Miss Tang, she unfortunately passed away a long ti ago."

Even though she said that, Grandma Shi couldn’t help feeling uneasy and sowhat afraid, saying, "It just so happens that this Senior Sister’s na is Xiao Wu, and her surna is Tang. Well, combine that, and isn’t it Tang Wu? And she just said her surna is now Shi, and Shi, doesn’t that sound like ’death’ in Chinese? Could it be, could the Senior Sister actually be the reincarnation of the deceased Tang Wu?"

The more Grandma Shi spoke, the more uneasy she felt, and in a mont, a chill ran through her, her whole body tingling.

Aunt Chen, listening to Grandma Shi, was caught between laughter and tears, saying, "There aren’t so many extraordinary tales of spirits and ghosts in this world, it might just be a coincidence. And you’ve just t her; she’s a living person, how could she possibly be Miss Tang?"

Reassured by Aunt Chen, Grandma Shi cald down.

Just at that mont, the joyful piano playing with hints of childish fun ceased.

Following the sound, they saw the two who had been playing a duet now gazing into each other’s eyes.

Both had faces brimming with happy smiles. With just one glance, Grandma Shi couldn’t help but feel chard.

Aunt Chen smiled quietly, pulling Grandma Shi away, saying, "Let’s not disturb the young ones, as their elders, we should know better."

Grandma Shi protested, "How am I not knowing better..."

Her voice was low and was quickly drowned out as Aunt Chen ushered her out.
