Shi i spoke and then dived in.

Her movents were swift, creating a gentle breeze.

Ling Yan’s nose was filled with the fresh, young scent of a woman, his brow, already furrowed from discomfort, furrowed tighter.

Unaware, Shi i reached out to touch his stomach.

Ling Yan swiftly blocked her, his words fierce, "Get out."

Upon hearing this word, a look of distress passed over Shi i’s face as she carefully said, "If I leave, will hubby sleep with ?"

Her eyes, dark and shiny, glistening with full expectation, looked at him.

Ling Yan: "..."

It was like punching into cotton; Ling Yan found himself faced with a fool and couldn’t even lose his temper.

Who said won with ntal issues are less of a hassle than normal won?

Won like Shi i, spoiled as she was, were much more troubleso than normal ones.

Ling Yan was exhausted, his voice sowhat helpless, "No."

Shi i pouted, pulled back the blanket, and lay down, "I just want to sleep with hubby and have a baby!"

Ling Yan’s stomach pain worsened terribly, and he was too lazy to deal with her.

He just moved to the side and closed his eyes.

Seeing him like this, Shi i unexpectedly felt a bit distressed.

Before he had t Tang Wu, Ling Yan had a mild eating disorder.

Later, she had forcefully demanded that he eat, ensuring he finished three als a day under her watchful eyes.

Within half a month, Ling Yan’s stomach illness had significantly improved.

And now, just after three years of separation,

his condition had worsened more than ever before.

...

Ling Yan, tired from many days, unconsciously fell asleep as soon as he hit the bed.

When he woke up, the sky outside was already dimly lit.

When he looked down, he realized that at so point soone had curled up in his arms.

Shi i was curled up, breathing evenly, her hands clutching a hot water bottle that seed to co from nowhere.

The hot water bottle firmly pressed against his stomach, still warm.

Frowning, Ling Yan instinctively tried to get up.

Unexpectedly, the young girl in his arms also frowned and pressed him down, saying, "Don’t move."

Her voice was very soft, still blurry with sleep.

But such a tone, more enticing than at any other ti, made Ling Yan pause.

Perhaps it was the pain clouding his mind, but he suddenly found this scene familiar.

Back when he and Tang Wu had first gotten together, he often suffered from stomach pain.

Tang Wu was always grumpy when waking, but whenever she noticed he was unwell, she would still enduringly find him stomach dicine and a hot water bottle.

During that ti, he often woke up feeling blissful.

He would sweetly give her a morning kiss, and Tang Wu, wrapping her arms around his neck, would nestle in his embrace and ask him...

"Does it still hurt?"

Ling Yan abruptly ca back to his senses.

Shi i’s eyes were bleary, her expression carrying the naïveté and bewildered innocence unique to a young girl.

Ling Yan shuddered.

A hard-to-describe feeling of disparity suddenly overwheld him.

His chest hollowed in an instant, as if sothing was silently fading, growing further and further away.

Ling Yan was suddenly enveloped by a profound loneliness.

Very deep, very heavy.

So heavy that just observing it made one feel the weight in their chest.

Ling Yan pushed Shi i away and stood up without a word.

Shi i chased after him, asking, "Hubby, does your tummy still hurt? Shi i has been sleeping for a long ti!"

Her voice completely silly.

And yet, for just a mont, he sensed Tang Wu’s shadow on her.

Ling Yan’s throat tightened, he turned his back, and entered the bathroom.

Shi i watched the door close, the innocent look on her face gradually cooling.

Had he just been feeling sad?
