Yating and Guiying heard rapid footsteps behind them and they turned to see their better-halves, huffing and breathless.

Chyou took half a step back, hand flying to her chest. "You thieves! What are you doing here? Trying to destroy our next clue now?"

"Huh. You reached here quite fast," Yating’s brow raised. "I see you must have taken a fairy’s help."

Her eyes narrowed. "What other choice did you leave us with?"

"Wasn’t it your side trying to sabotage our ga first?" He smiled.

"That’s all false! Our first destination just happened to be the sa place."

Chyou harrumphed, then looked at Zixin. "Let us not waste ti, Zixin. We cannot let them win!"

He nodded, but looked at Guiying once anyway. "Are you tired? Should I bring you so water?"

Chyou face-pald.

How difficult can it be to act as an enemy for just once?

She hung her arm around Zixin’s and pulled him back with force, lest he completely join their side. They huddled on the other side of the garden and she whispered,

"Okay, it looks totally bad! Guiying seems to be holding our next riddle. If that’s gone, we are done for!"

He nodded.

"So we need to get it back from her, which ans I need your help."

"You want to take it from her?"

"No, you are hopeless. You will definitely let your dearest wife run away with it!"

"..."

Zixin felt he should be hurt by her assessnt, but he couldn’t be too mad at her. One soft look from Guiying and he would willingly plan her escape with their envelope.

On the other side, Guiying and Yating, who had successfully found Team Blue’s next riddle were about to open the envelope when they heard chaos unfold at a distance.

"Take a good look, Zixin! The envelope should be right there up sowhere!"

Yating and Guiying walked over, and raising their heads in the sun, they watched Zixin climb on a ladder and search for sothing on the roof.

Zixin looked down and pursed his lips. "It’s not here."

"It’s definitely there! Our adorable fairies can never be wrong," she frowned. "Keep searching."

Guiying raised her hand, shading her eyes from the sunlight. She leaned towards Yating, whispering, "They are looking at the wrong place."

"Hm."

Zixin kept stretching his arm to the side in hopes to find their prized blue envelope. Guiying noticed the ladder slightly shaking in those attempts as he tried to go past the limit.

"Th-The ladder...You should co down now, Zixin!"

Chyou pouted. "Mrs. Chen. Don’t try to distract him. He is on this side and I won’t let him be manipulated by you."

"No, I an the ladder looks unsteady. He will fall-"

"Talk to my palm," she raised her hand and harrumphed.

Zixin breathlessly tried to stretch his hand a bit more and the ladder almost tilted. His eyes widened, slipping just for a fraction of a mont.

"Zixin! Co down right now!"

Guiying flew to the ladder’s side, holding it firmly with all her might, while panic spread all over her. As she held the ladder, the blue edge of an envelope unknowingly revealed through the gaps of her fingers.

With lightning speed, Chyou grabbed the edge, and the envelope neatly slid out of her grasp - only to be stopped halfway by none other than her husband.

The blue envelope remained suspended in the air - one edge pulled by Chyou while Yating applied an equal pressure on the other side, trying to fail her attempt.

"So I see the whole matter with the ladder was just a farce. As expected of the Queen."

"Huh? What?" Guiying asked in disbelief.

Yating looked up at Zixin. "Were you really slipping or was it just an act to lower Guiying’s guard?"

Guiying followed his gaze, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "Zixin, is that true?"

Zixin swallowed a gulp. "I re-really felt like I was going to fall..."

She glared. "Who told you could scare like that by playing with your safety!"

Zixin pointed at the perpetrator.

"Geez, you could have been a gentleman and told this was all your plan, couldn’t you?" Chyou held completely different grievances.

Yating said, "Would anyone really believe that such a concoction would co from his mind?"

"Why would anyone believe that it would co from ?"

"It’s especially believable to co from you."

"How rude! But I will forgive you if you let go of this envelope," she harrumphed.

"Who said I am looking for forgiveness?" Yating’s head tilted. "But I admit that was a good sneaky plan."

Impasse.

Guiying glared. "Co down! We need to talk."

Zixin pursed his lips. "I fear for my life."

"Because you should."

"Please forgive ."

"We will decide that once you step down."

"I fear for my life."

On the other side below, wind blew between the two arch enemies. At stakes was a blue envelope and with it, Team Blue’s chance to stay alive in the treasure hunt.

"Look, we can all be adults here," she righteously said.

"Correct. So you should accept defeat gracefully and let it go," Yating nodded.

"By ’we’, I an you and Guiying."

"We are adults enough. Don’t worry about us."

"Then you leave with no choice, Mr. Gu but to..." her eyes narrowed.

"My wife is really beautiful but I won’t fall for any seduction tricks-"

"Undress myself right here."

"Tricke and - wait, what?"

Her one hand firmly stayed on the envelope but her other hand swiftly went to her zipper. The sound of its undoing ca forth, and even Zixin was left flabbergasted. Within a lightning flash, his head turned to the other, lest he catch a sight of hers not ant for him in the slightest.

Because then again, Chyou’s speed was not to be underestimated. As the Entertainnt industry’s Queen and a successful actress, she had changed outfits as much as her roles. Changing into new clothes without wasting precious ti had beco second nature for her.

So when Yating saw the edge of her tempting chest reveal, he wasn’t thinking about holding onto the envelope anymore but to stop the zipper from it further undoing before her Godly speed could do anymore damage - which was just the mont Chyou was waiting for.

"Got ittt!"

Snatching the envelope was a walk in the park once Yating let go of his grasp from over it. Her dress’s zipper was back on at a mont’s notice.

"Thanks husband! You are always such a gentleman!" She bead and tiptoed once to peck on his lips.

Chyou looked up. "Zixin, co down already! We got it!"

Zixin’s eyes were still tightly shut and head turned away. "I cannot. You are..."

"Oof, I am all dressed up, silly, so open your eyes already. Ugh, fine! Co down at your own pace then. Don’t take too much ti though."

"You..." Yating was left flabbergasted. "You just..."

Chyou stuck out her tongue. "Sorry for the heart attack sexy husband, but everything’s fair in love and war. And treasure hunt. Ta Taaa!!"
