A comfortable warmth flowed into Julian's body, like liquid fire poured onto ice after Sena fasted his tunic. The soothing sensation gradually eased the painful sting of his wounds, allowing him to recover. His breathing steadied as his muscles relaxed, and the heat helped him relax.

Sena's new swords sliced through the air, a few steps away with one wreathed in fire, the other glistening with frost. Her twin blades danced along with her movents, their opposing elents weaving a beautiful image of fire and ice.

Julian watched, sucking in his breath in admiration.

"Beautiful…"

"Eh?"

Sena faltered mid-motion from his sudden complint, nearly fumbling and breaking her stance. Her eyes fluttered and flicked to Julian, and suddenly couldn't help but beco shy.

Her cheeks burned a deep red. His expression completely unreadable and serious, as if he could only see her in this beautiful forest glowing pink with each petal.

"I think we should head back to the village, and hand in the quest items."

Though a dull throb continued in his chest. Julian didn't want to take too long because he knew the danger of roaming during the night in this ga, so he planned to hurry back to the village and wait for it to pass.

'Thank god, ti moves faster in the ga.'

Sena's eyes narrowed before showing a confused look.

Then asked. "What Quest items?"

Julian shook his head before struggling to his feet. He suddenly stumbled, before Sena stepped forward and held him close, "be careful, Julian."

"Thanks, I will." He then leaned closer, enjoying her soft warmth. The slight scent of sweat mixed with Sena's natural scent filled his nose. "Look, can't you see that?"

"Hm?"

His finger pointed to the blurred, head shaped item in her inventory.

[◊ Harpy Queen's Head ◊]

"Ew!"

Sena closed her eyes tight, and shifted her face away, making a lovely sound, as she hugged Julian's arm.

"What's the matter?"

"It's a head, how disgusting, don't you think so?"

Julian's lips quivered, the corners curling into a smirk, noticing another lovely side to Sena, soone who enjoyed fighting, cutting the monsters into pieces, but the mont an item appeared she beca so cute.

And he wanted to bully her a bit.

"Well… what if I showed you an actual head, would that be any better?" He said with a mocking smile, lifting one of his hands, moving his fingers around his neck as if there were a gap between it, before he suddenly snapped his neck to the side. His body dropping on Sena like a heavy stone.

"Aah…" A high-pitched scream escaped Sena, sending shivers down Julian's back as she pushed him away.

"Ugh!"

-2 HP

The world spun and suddenly Julian found himself lying on the ground, flat on his back, looking up at Sena's worried face.

Her hands clasped together over her mouth as tears filled her eyes. "Don't do sothing to scare like that, are you okay? I didn't an to hurt you."

"Yes!" Julian burst out laughing, tears pouring from the corners of his eyes. "I'm fine! You should have seen your face!" As soon as Julian got on all fours, a red hue returned to Sena's cheeks as she approached him and slamd both palms against his forehead, pushing him back onto the ground.

The only thought running through Julian's mind was,

"How lucky am I to et such a cute girl?"

"Don't be stupid… let's go!"

Not long after the pair reached the entrance of the forest, after killing the harpy queen, the forest would be calm, and no monsters could respawn for a short ti.

Julian used this opportunity to check what they gained from the queen and also prepared himself for the two quests.

The village looked more solemn during the evening, with many of the NPCs returning to their hos, or locking their doors, which made certain quests difficult. This was part of the reason Julian only picked the harpy quest because the person who gave the quest didn't lock his door, instead sitting at his table, looking out the window towards the forest.

Entering the small log cabin, the man turned and greeted them both.

His wrinkled face looked weary but relieved when Sena placed the Quest item on his table. The old man's worn-out hands taking the harpy queen's head from Sena. He couldn't help but give an animated reaction, despite being programd.

'This isn't what I rember.'

Julian entered the world much later in the past life, forced to take a basic class and most NPCs already dead, or sentient at that ti.

Once this happened, they rarely welcod humans or people from Earth.

"J-Julian, what's all this?!" Sena said excitedly, jumping to her toes and waving her hands.

"Your screen is going crazy!"

As soone with experience, he couldn't help but enjoy the sight before him. Sena jumping in delight, pointing at the different things she unlocked, made him feel a warmth deep in his chest.

However…

He never expected to hear the strange warning sound again…

But in the future he would because this ga didn't have a level cap. He would eventually beco able to use these points in all three of his Evolution tree's.

'Now that I think about, what are my options?'

The mont he tapped his screen, a surge of joy similar to Sena flowed through his abdon.

"Wow!"
