Warren Prescott paused his hand, which was wearing a glove, while eating crab.

Does that an there are only three days left?

Three days... Arranging the things for the spectators, even if the progress is accelerated, would still require at least five days.

Unless, the spectators are moved to Aethelgard.

But even if we start looking for suitable office buildings now, it would take at least half a month to move everything over.

Warren Prescott carefully calculated in his mind how to save ti effectively.

Then Elder Prescott suddenly looked at him and said, "Keep an eye on Ariana’s case. We have decent relations with the court, so if you get involved, you should be able to handle it."

Warren Prescott nodded, "Yeah, I know."

But in fact, he had already made arrangents.

He even specifically set aside an evening to have dinner with those folks from the court.

The folks weren’t shy about it either; each took off with a bottle of six-figure wine.

If he calculates the money spent on this matter, it has already surpassed the value of the property itself.

Currently, it seems like a surefire thing; accurately speaking, it’s beyond surefire.

Ariana Grant felt a bit embarrassed.

"Grandpa Prescott and Young Master Prescott, thank you..."

Elder Prescott snorted and said, "Why are you being polite to ? When you were grabbing fruit, didn’t you say you were my cross-generational buddy, a good pal?"

Ashley Shaw almost sprayed out her rice.

She managed to hold it in, but her cheeks turned red.

However, in doing so, her complexion looked much better.

People with fever often have no appetite; Ashley Shaw ate even less than usual.

Thankfully, Ariana Grant attracted Elder’s attention, so Elder didn’t notice anything off with Ashley.

After the al, Elder Prescott was about to stay and play for a while when the family doctor’s call ca.

"Alright, alright, I’ll go back as soon as possible, okay?"

Dominic Zane knew this was just an excuse, so he said over the phone, "Could you please let speak to Ashley for a mont?"

Elder Prescott was reluctant to hand over the phone, but Ashley Shaw heard it and took the initiative to take it.

"Uncle Zane, this is Ashley, go ahead."

"Elder needs to drink herbal dicine an hour after the al, so please make sure he returns quickly."

Ashley Shaw agreed, "I’ll make sure Grandpa Prescott returns within an hour."

"Alright, thank you."

"No problem, it’s my duty."

Dominic Zane also inquired about Ariana Grant’s condition.

Ashley Shaw said, "I took her to the hospital today for stitch removal, and the wound is almost healed."

"That’s good, enjoy yourselves, I won’t disturb you anymore."

"Alright."

Ashley Shaw hung up the phone and said to Warren Prescott, "You’ll have to leave in ten minutes. Uncle Zane said that Grandpa Prescott needs to take his dicine."

"Got it." Warren Prescott nodded expressionlessly.

He was contemplating whether it would be odd to let Elder leave first while he stayed behind.

The answer is definitely yes.

He could only leave with them.

His mood imdiately soured.

For the next ten minutes, Warren Prescott looked frustrated and annoyed.

Ashley Shaw assud Warren was eager to get Elder moving, so she didn’t wait around and told Warren to take Elder back directly.

Warren beca even more annoyed.

Couldn’t wait for ten minutes?

He said with a dark face to Elder Prescott, "Let’s go, Grandpa."

Elder Prescott huffed and glared.

"Why is everyone listening to Dominic? Does it really matter if I’m late in taking my dicine once in a while?"

Ashley Shaw quickly interjected to persuade him.

She said he should keep himself fit to enjoy playing with them.

Elder Prescott replied, "When your school starts, I’ll co visit you."

Ashley Shaw felt a mont of guilt.

Her school wasn’t actually the Aethelgard University Elder Prescott assud.

Still, for now, she could only keep it covered, and when she absolutely couldn’t anymore, she’d tell Elder Prescott.

Otherwise, her efforts over these past two months would have all been in vain.

She braced herself and said, "Okay, I’ll treat you to authentic Aethelgard hot pot then."

Elder Prescott asked in surprise, "You’ve been to Aethelgard before?"

Ashley Shaw realized she slipped up and quickly corrected, "I saw it in guides; I’ll scout ahead and find the most authentic place for you."

Elder Prescott seed to be sidetracked.

"Alright then, I’ll wait for you to scout it out for ."

Not ntioning that he himself spent nearly a decade in Aethelgard when he was younger.

Seeing Elder finally smile a bit, Ashley Shaw quickly went to the kitchen to fetch a thermal bowl.

She had bought this bowl when she was in the hospital; now it was coming in handy.

She packed the remaining carrot dumpling soup into it and handed it to Warren Prescott.

"Grandpa Prescott seems to really like it, could you take it back for him? Have Mrs. Chase heat it up for him tonight."

Warren didn’t reach out, expressionless, and said, "The car is parked downstairs."

The implication was for her to take it down herself.

Ashley Shaw couldn’t figure out what was wrong with Warren Prescott, as his attitude seed off since Dominic called.

She could only carry the thermal bowl and escort Elder Prescott downstairs.

After Elder Prescott got into the car, she bent down and handed the bowl inside.

"This is dumpling soup. If you don’t feel like eating it tonight, give it to Mrs. Chase."

Elder Prescott promptly said, "I wouldn’t give it to her; I’ll eat it myself!"

Ashley Shaw smiled and nodded, "Whatever you prefer."

Warren Prescott at the driver’s seat felt even more displeased.

He thought Mrs. Chase wasn’t thinking about him; he was worth less than a household servant, right?

He stepped on the gas, and the car roared away.

Elder Prescott almost didn’t hold onto the bowl tightly, and once the car steadied, he imdiately scolded, "Why are you driving so fast? Is taking dicine really that urgent?"

Warren Prescott slowed down.

As they approached the Prescott family ho, Warren Prescott glanced at the rearview mirror inside the car.

He saw Elder Prescott holding onto the thermal bowl tightly like it was a precious treasure.

He let out a cold laugh and said, "You cherish a re bowl of dumpling soup so much; later I’ll have the kitchen make more of it for you. You’ll get sick of it with just one serving."

Elder Prescott snorted and said, "What do you know? The family chef cooks for work, but Ashley cooks for love."

Love, huh?

Then... if there’s one more dish of the food I love compared to what Elder loves, does that count as favoritism?

Warren Prescott’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, and his expression softened a bit from its previous sternness.

...

Ariana Grant’s ho.

Ashley Shaw watched as Ariana Grant started on her second al, and she shook her head helplessly.

She said, "Eat slowly, no one’s going to take it from you now. These crayfish, crab, and scallion oil abalone were all specially made for you. If you don’t have enough now, I still have so ingredients left over; I’ll cook more for you tonight."

Ariana Grant, munching on the crayfish, asked indistinctly, "Are there more crab? You made too few today; there wasn’t even enough to fill the gap in my teeth."

"I made eight."

She and Elder Prescott aren’t keen on seafood, especially Ashley, who has a mild seafood allergy.

"Isn’t eight enough for you?"

Ariana Grant pointed to Warren Prescott’s place, "He ate three and a half, leaving only four and a half for . I can eat at least six or seven in one sitting; you should have bought more. But The Eldest Young Master Prescott is strange; he normally shouldn’t care for such lavish dishes."
