Huo Sining’s face turned deathly pale in an instant. She unbuckled her seatbelt, ready to get out of the car. "No way, I’m not going. Definitely can’t go to the hospital!"
Seeing his wife’s expression, Gu Xu imdiately knew she must have misunderstood. He quickly grabbed Huo Sining to stop her from jumping out of the car:
"Honey, don’t be nervous. What I just told Grandpa wasn’t a lie. I really do know a doctor who studied abroad, an authority in obstetrics and gynecology. You can trust him. No matter what we’re expecting here, I promise he won’t leak any secrets, and he won’t ask a single unnecessary question."
Huo Sining paused upon hearing this. Now she wasn’t in a rush to jump out, but turned to look at Gu Xu instead: "Really?"
Gu Xu raised his hand above his head, straightening all his fingers, and vowed: "It’s true, honey. This isn’t a joke. Do you think I’d lie to you?"
Huo Sining thought for a mont and also felt that Gu Xu certainly wouldn’t deceive her. Her lips curled slightly as she said, "I guess you wouldn’t dare. But who is this person anyway? Do I know them? Why haven’t you ntioned them before?"

"The doctor you’re talking about is a man?"
Gu Xu nodded: "Yes, a male. Don’t underestimate n; he’s quite accomplished in this field. A few years back he was highly respected in Arica’s industry, conducted several research projects that caused a sensation, and was repeatedly invited by prestigious universities like Harvard and the Ivy League to beco a professor. Such honor isn’t given to everyone."
Huo Sining felt puzzled: "Since he’s so impressive, why didn’t he stay abroad? Logically, the dical environnt overseas should be more suitable for his developnt. Dostic positions often rely on connections, there are few who focus solely on dical research, and there are too many dical disputes. The environnt isn’t too friendly for doctors. Why didn’t he stay abroad?"
Gu Xu’s eyes darkened instantly: "In truth, I also think abroad might suit his developnt more. But as you know, dostic dicine lacks his kind of elite. So after people learned of the special relationship between him and , they asked to persuade him to return ho, offering him enormous privileges. Huo Sining nodded: "If we’re talking money, then the Imperial Capital dical University must be the wealthiest. It seems your friend was recruited by the Imperial Capital dical University?"
Gu Xu smiled: "It’s not quite recruitnt; his research remains independent. But the dical university there was willing to fund him. As long as he signs on as a guest professor, they provide funding for his projects and even allow him to start his private hospital. So my friend returned with excitent."
Huo Sining imdiately laughed: "You’re taking to your friend’s private hospital?"
Gu Xu nodded: "That guy’s sharp. After returning to the country, he asked to help him acquire a small office building, then converted it into a private hospital, specifically for treating wealthy clients with confidential conditions, ensuring their privacy isn’t leaked. You know, many wealthy people have unspeakable secrets and often wish to be treated in reputable private hospitals. Since he can provide this service, the wealthy naturally endorse it."
Upon hearing about this situation from Gu Xu, Huo Sining genuinely admired the overseas-returned doctor. Having such agility and flexibility in these matters shows that this person isn’t the stubborn, rigid type who only knows how to conduct research. No wonder he returned to the country without hesitation when recruited by the dical university. It seems he already had such plans; the university played right into his hands.

The person remained serious without relaxing: "Sir, I’m sorry, but as you know, our rules stipulate that no entry is allowed without an appointnt."
