"What the fuck do you think you’re doing?" Her voice was sharp, demanding, but Feng Yizhou didn’t answer.

Instead, his hands moved.

Warm, calloused fingers traced along her thigh, starting from her knee and sliding up—slow, deliberate. His touch was featherlight, yet it sent a sharp heat curling low in her stomach.

He wasn’t in a rush. Wasn’t in a hurry or frantic.

He was savoring this.

His black eyes flickered, focused entirely on the soft skin beneath his fingers.

The way his grip flexed slightly told her exactly what he was thinking. That he wanted to bite.

His gaze darkened, a faint growl rumbling in his chest.

Qingran’s breath hitched, but she forced herself to keep her voice steady. "Feng Yizhou..you let go."

Nothing. He wasn’t listening. It felt as though her words were going through one ear and other the other.

Her fingers twitched, ready to shove him off, but before she could react, he leaned in—his breath hot against her skin.

His lips hovered just above her inner thigh.

Then, his teeth scraped against her flesh.

Qingran’s breath hitched as the sharp sting of his bite sent a shiver up her spine.

Her fingers curled into the sheets beneath her, a gasp escaping before she could stop it.

Feng Yizhou humd in satisfaction, his tongue tracing over the bite mark as if soothing it—only to nip again, dragging a whimper from her lips.

Her body jerked slightly, thighs instinctively clenching, but his grip was firm, keeping her exactly where he wanted. His teasing was slow, deliberate, every brush of his lips and scrape of his teeth designed to unravel her.

And damn it, it was working.

She tried to curse at him, to tell him to stop playing around, but all that left her mouth were broken, breathless syllables. Her mind was fogging over, heat creeping up her neck to her cheeks, her entire body betraying her under his touch.

The bastard knew exactly what he was doing.

Then—just as suddenly as he started—he stopped.

Qingran barely registered the loss before she heard deep, rich laughter.

She blinked, feeling disoriented, as Feng Yizhou stood up, arms crossing over his bare chest, amusent dancing in his black eyes.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, lips still curled in a smirk.

Qingran, still sprawled out on his damn bed, body tingling, felt her brain short-circuit for a second.

Was this man serious?!

"Feng Yizhou you bastard!"

Feng Yizhou only grinned wider at her outburst, completely unbothered.

"You delivered yourself into my bed. What were you expecting?" He leaned forward slightly, voice dripping with amusent. "Though, I must say... I’m very happy with this gift." His gaze darkened, eyes trailing over her with undisguised hunger. "Ah, you don’t know how much I controlled myself when I saw you in my room. I thought I was dreaming for a second."

Qingran scoffed, still feeling ridiculously hot, her body betraying her despite her best efforts. She wasn’t about to admit how much he made her tingle—or worse, how she wanted more.

She swallowed, forcing her voice to sound indifferent. "You went silent, I just wanted to see for myself if you were still alive..."

Feng Yizhou chuckled, the rich sound making her stomach do a stupid flip. "Are you saying you missed ?" He sighed dramatically. "My darling, I missed you too."

Her face burned. "Shut up!"

She tried to push herself up from the bed, but before she could, he was already moving again—slow and deliberate, like a predator who had all the ti in the world.

"Why are you in such a rush?" His fingers ghosted over the fresh bite mark on her thigh, she was wearing jeans so he couldn’t see his masterpiece, but he traced it teasingly. "You ca all this way to see , yet you want to leave so soon?"

Qingran gritted her teeth. "I should’ve never co."

Feng Yizhou tilted his head, an infuriating smirk tugging at his lips. "Then why did you?"

Her lips parted, but nothing ca out. Damn it. Why did she co? To check on him? To confirm sothing for herself?

Or...

No. No way in hell was she going to admit that she actually missed him.

Feng Yizhou’s gaze softened—just slightly. He lifted a hand, brushing a loose strand of hair from her face, his touch lingering longer than necessary.

"You’re a terrible liar, Qingran."

She pushed him away this ti, standing up, staying any longer on the bed was dangerous.

Yizhou smiled, regardless of what her motive for coming her was, he was really happy to see her.

"I’m glad you’re head. It gives hope that you actually thing about . Have you eaten? Give ti to wear so clothes or you like the way I look already?"

Qingran face reddened as she turned around, slowly tracing her steps till she reached the door.

"I haven’t gotten dinner, I’ll be in the living room waiting.."

Feng Yizhou chuckled as he watched her retreat. "Running away already?"

Qingran didn’t bother answering. She needed to get out of that room before she lost whatever little dignity she had left.

Her body was still tingling, her skin embarrassingly warm where his lips had been. Damn bastard. He knew exactly how to play with her, how to push her buttons until she was a breathless ss.

And she had let him.

Again.

She reached the living room, exhaling sharply as she flopped onto the couch. Lingquan’s amused voice echoed in her mind.

[You know, for soone who ca here to ’check if he was alive,’ you sure got into his bed pretty fast.]

Qingran scowled. "Shut up."

[I’m just saying.] His tail flicked lazily in her mind. [If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you actually wanted to—]

"Say another word and I’m throwing you out the window."

Lingquan wisely fell silent, though she could still sense his smug amusent.

Qingran rubbed her temples, trying to compose herself. She had co here to make sure Feng Yizhou was okay, not to get manhandled and teased into oblivion. And yet, the way he touched her, the way he looked at her—

She swallowed hard, shaking the thought away.

No. She wasn’t going to think about that right now.

A few minutes later, Feng Yizhou strolled out of his room, now fully dressed in a loose button-up and dark slacks, his damp hair tousled from the quick shower he had taken.

"You actually waited?" He sounded genuinely surprised, a smirk tugging at his lips.

Qingran glared at him. "I did say I haven’t gotten dinner didn’t I?"

Feng Yizhou chuckled, walking past her toward the kitchen. "Alright, alright. I’ll whip sothing up."

Qingran watched him for a mont, suspicious. "You can cook?"

He shot her a look over his shoulder. "What, you think I survive on blood alone?"

She narrowed her eyes. "...Yes."

He laughed. "Well, you’re not wrong. But I do know how to make a decent al. Sit tight, darling. I’ll prove it to you."

Qingran crossed her arms, skeptical but unwilling to argue.
