Chapter 1393: Chapter 1365: Didn’t Expect This to Be a Huge Help (Part One) Chapter 1393: Chapter 1365: Didn’t Expect This to Be a Huge Help (Part One) Kiara stopped Ruby Lynn from going back.

“If you go now, it’s only going to exacerbate the conflict. You might as well not see her and stay here for dinner,” Kiara said.

“But…”

“There are no buts. Let my husband talk to your man about it,” Kiara insisted.

Ruby Lynn tried every excuse to leave, but she couldn’t resist Kiara’s overwhelming hospitality and had to stay.

Mother Yuno’s dinner was indeed lavish, but after such an incident, Ruby Lynn had no appetite; she forced down a few bites and then sat there in a daze.

“Mom, could you please take care of Wendy for ?” After dinner, Kiara handed her daughter over to Mother Yuno.

“Go ahead, try to talk so sense into her.” Mother Yuno knew what her daughter-in-law was about to do, and she patted Ruby Lynn’s shoulder, speaking kindly.

“Don’t take it to heart. We’re not that particular in our family. My son and daughter-in-law are both very reasonable people. Your husband’s job won’t be affected by this incident, rest assured.”

“Thank you… Aunt, I apologize on behalf of Iris Lynn to all of you.”

Ruby Lynn was indeed worried; Mother Yuno had hit the nail on the head.

She truly feared that her sister’s actions might damage her husband’s image in the eyes of his boss, and even more so, she dreaded that her family might negatively impact his career. Although her husband had said that the Vice President was soone who kept work and personal matters separate, today’s incident had been too much for even her to bear.

If the Vice President and his wife were angered… With that thought, her mood beca heavy.

Kiara took Ruby Lynn by the hand and brought her to a small room; upon closing the door, Ruby Lynn gave Kiara a deep bow.

“I’m so sorry, Sister-in-law! I really didn’t expect her to act like this!”

“What are you thinking? She is she, you are you. There’s no need for you to apologize to about such trivial matters. Don’t take it to heart. Here, have so tea, let’s have a chat.”

Kiara had asked her in, just to comfort Ruby Lynn. After a while, Ruby Lynn was finally convinced that Kiara wasn’t holding the incident against her and felt both grateful and deeply ashad.

“Ah, how could Iris Lynn be like this? At ho, she agreed to co and apologize, so how could she make such a scene once she got here… ”

“She did it intentionally, but not with as the target,” Kiara paused, then looked at Ruby Lynn as she spoke.

“Her target was you.”

“What?!”

Upon hearing Kiara say that her sister’s target was herself, Ruby Lynn didn’t understand.

“Sister-in-law, I don’t understand what you’re saying…”

“Didn’t you catch the one word your sister Iris Lynn kept stressing? She wants my husband to fire yours. That’s her intention. She must have been scheming from the ti she was in the hospital.”

Kiara thought back to the look in Iris Lynn’s eyes at the hospital, coupled with her reactions today, and she had a pretty good idea of what was going on.

“Heavenly Lord! Why would she do such a thing!”

Ruby Lynn couldn’t understand; where had she ever wronged her sister?

After a fight with her husband and falling out with her in-laws, Iris Lynn had co to Ruby Lynn’s ho with just a few dollars in her pocket, and ended up staying half a month.

She didn’t lift a finger at ho, didn’t buy a single vegetable, even stole her niece’s or nephew’s snacks, and her sharp tongue didn’t spare insulting her own husband and child. The family put up with it all because she was Ruby Lynn’s sister, but she never imagined the extent of it—despite everyone indulging her, she still intended to ruin her brother-in-law’s career?

“Why do sothing like this… There could be many reasons, but if you ask to analyze it, the biggest reason is that you’re doing better than she is.”

Everyone has a beast in their heart, nad envy.

Coming from the sa womb, if one leads a good life while the other doesn’t, that’s reason enough for envy.

“How could she do this to …” Ruby Lynn’s heart was shattered.

She had done everything within her power to subsidize Emily Martin’s household; it was only because her husband, Jas Manfield, was easygoing and didn’t fuss about it. Had it been any other family with such a disruptive sister-in-law, life would have been unbearable. Yet, despite all her efforts, Emily Martin still treated her this way.

“We ca from the sa womb. She’s supposed to be the closest person to , but I never expected her to hate so.”

“Even monozygotic twins can have different personalities. Each person has their own path to walk. You don’t need to subsidize her so much. It’s just the way people are, distant fragrances and near stenches; the nicer you are to her, the less she appreciates it. It’s better to keep a distance, send her back.”

Kiara spoke with Ruby Lynn for a while longer, delicately expressing that she wouldn’t let this matter spread, so other sisters-in-law wouldn’t look down on Ruby Lynn because of it. Her kindness left Ruby Lynn feeling imnsely grateful, thanking her over and over before leaving.

After Kiara had done her part in calming things, she relaxed, noticing her daughter was already asleep in Grandmother’s arms. She then sat down on the sofa and chatted with Abigail Nana over so fruit tea.

“How can two people from the sa womb be so different in personality? I think Ruby Lynn is a good daughter-in-law, a decent and honest person. So why is her sister like that? They even look quite similar,” Mother Yuno said to Kiara.

“That’s not surprising. Even monozygotic twins, growing up in the sa family and receiving the sa education, can develop entirely different personalities. Maybe it’s because they each have a different soul.”

The contrasting personalities of the twin sisters, Ruby Lynn and Iris Lynn, piqued Kiara’s interest. After chatting with Abigail Nana, she searched for the hard drive her father had given her and began reviewing cases related to twins, unaware that this casual act would play a significant role a few days later. But that is a story for another ti.

At night, Kiara lay on Mario Yuno’s arm with a facial mask on, while Mario Yuno wanted to read a book. Every ti he moved, she whined.

“Stop moving! If the mask falls off and gets on the bed, you’ll be washing the sheets!”

“But aren’t there pillows?”

She forgoes the pillow to lie on soone’s arm—why on earth!

“It’s uncomfortable…”

Mario Yuno simply put down his comic book and focused on his beautiful wife~

Hmph, success!

Kiara felt a secret thrill. She did it on purpose, so what!

She couldn’t do anything else while wearing a facial mask, so why should this guy get to leisurely read comics? This was much better, as they could chat together.

“Why was your business trip suddenly canceled?”

“I’m not sure why, but they pulled back,” Mario Yuno suspected sothing might be happening in the city, but it wasn’t appropriate to discuss work matters with Kiara in detail.

“It’s good that you’re back, now you can spend more ti with and our child. By the way, Zoel Cohen invited us out. Are you free tomorrow night?”

“Black Cucumber invited us?”

“He wants to invite our family for a night fishing trip at sea. He borrowed a yacht. I thought you wouldn’t be back in ti from your trip, but now it’s perfect.”

“Wow, is the sun rising from the west? Isn’t that guy busy with Aka? Where does he find the ti to invite us?”

Zoel Cohen and Aka’s relationship had its ups and downs, but with Kiara’s forceful intervention, they finally got together. It had been a while since Mario Yuno had seen Zoel Cohen hopping around his wife, which made Zoel seem much more pleasant to him.

“Apparently Aka has been feeling down lately, and Zoel probably wants to cheer her up.”

“Aka of the carefree attitude feeling down?”
