Chapter 1035: Chapter 1008: Mind Goes Blank Chapter 1035: Chapter 1008: Mind Goes Blank Having these reactions just proves that everyone is normal.

A normal person, regardless of personality, will have a natural response to events.

For example, when hearing about these cruel deeds, one would feel sympathy for the deceased, and feel uncomfortable hearing about those grueso processes.

But the suspect didn’t show any discomfort.

He narrated calmly as if those events weren’t real, as if he was just telling stories without any emotions, without any fluctuations in mood; it’s as if he was talking about soone else’s doings, having nothing to do with him at all.

This bone-chilling cold-bloodedness made everyone present shudder.

Kiara witnessed a female compatriot cry during the interrogation.

It was after that man, in a very calm tone, recounted how he hurt an innocent little girl, that the emotionally rich woman couldn’t bear it, cried out in sympathy and anger, and broke down emotionally.

That’s the reaction a normal person would have, full of joys, sorrows, and love-hate relationships.

Yet, in this bad person’s world, it seems nothing exists; he doesn’t care about anyone’s life or death. In his words, he doesn’t lack money; the reason he does those things is rely due to a deep-rooted habit.

When the female police officer ca out crying, that bad man glanced outside, Kiara t his cold gaze, and it was like her heart was pricked; his look made her so uncomfortable she turned away, not allowing him to see her face.

“Who is that woman outside?” the bad man pointed in Kiara’s direction.

“Who she is has nothing to do with you. Why do you ask?” the interrogator asked.

The man narrowed his eyes, “If I were still outside, I would definitely have her too, I like such extrely beautiful won.”

“Be serious!” The interrogator slamd the table, infuriated by his audacity.

The bad man sneered, in his eyes, these people were nothing more than low-IQ clowns.

Kiara felt extrely uncomfortable under the serpentine gaze of that man; the atmosphere was also quite oppressive.

When they left the detention center in the morning, the expressions of the mbers of the group were solemn, as was Mr. Russel’s team who had co with them.

The petty vanity or competitiveness of ordinary people beca insignificant compared to this suspect; no one felt like bickering as they used to and were imrsed in a gloomy atmosphere.

“It would be letting him off too easy to give this person just a bullet,” soone from the Research Institute area spoke up after a while.

No one from the Psychological Interference Group said anything, but they couldn’t agree more internally. This was the most unified mont for both groups; everyone felt that even the death penalty would be too lenient for such a bad person.

After a simple lunch, the team returned to their workplace organisation for a eting, and Patrick chaired the session.

“After this morning’s understanding, I believe everyone has co to a basic judgnt—Kiara, what do you think?”

“This is a classic SH Personality, his indifference fits entirely within the criteria for the SH Personality.”

This is a very dangerous personality and highly deceptive.

The rest nodded in agreent, everyone thought the sa.

“Indeed, according to the information we have, this person has a quite positive image among those around him. Everyone says he is courteous, polite, and considerate of others’ feelings. No one would have associated him with these vicious cris,” Patrick added solemnly.

“In many of the major cases we handle, the criminal has an SH Personality, but unlike the violent personality, the SH Personality individuals are highly intelligent and adept at disguising themselves. They can appear very friendly, diverting everyone’s attention. Kiara, from your perspective, do these people have any other characteristics?”

Their criminal psychology study differed from Kiara’s clinical audience, but there was overlap on this issue.

“This personality has another na, called the unemotional personality. The flawed personalities I have encountered are not as severe as what we saw today, leading to cris. Most of my encounters involve ordinary people hurt by a flawed personality, for instance, a woman who has dated a man with such a personality for many years, believing their relationship was good, but then suddenly the man disappears with her money, without even caring for the child in her womb, leaving the woman to collapse.”

This flawed personality doesn’t necessarily equate to a criminal; there are also ordinary people, and the prevalence of this personality disorder ranges from 4.3%—9%. This ans that in a group of 100 people, at least 5—10 can have such personalities, perhaps even more.

This personality is characterized by predatory behavior, strong aggression, and a complete lack of sha. To put it plainly, they have thick skin and are aggressive. The ability to function in society is related to the sense of sha, and a high-IQ person without any sha or concern for other’s feelings is extrely destructive.

What’s even scarier is that these people usually have a high IQ too, unlike the violent personality types; they are extrely secretive because they cleverly hide their intentions, making themselves look like popular individuals. Moreover, they’re especially nice to others, but their kindness has an ulterior motive. To soone of no benefit to them, they won’t bother pretending to be nice.

This is the truly frightening aspect; these individuals lack genuine emotions, even using feelings as tools to manipulate others. They can plunder another’s life without any sense of sha.

Most suspects in twisted cases have this type of personality.

After further discussion, Kiara pointed out the most crucial aspect.

“This personality could probably be passed on to the next generation. Although there’s no reliable view proving the existence of such genes yet, I suggest that the relevant brother departnts extract his DNA for preservation to facilitate further research.”

If they could unravel the genetic reasons for the formation of such personalities, it might help to control and reduce such malevolent cases in the future, although this is a very lengthy process. Research is always progressing.

“Kiara’s viewpoint is excellent; we can note it down and include it in our report—but does this man have any children?”

A child… Sothing flashed through Kiara’s mind rapidly.

“The suspect is childless, he is single.”

Everyone else’s analysis continued, but Kiara seed lost in thought.

“We’ve finished analyzing the suspect; now let’s analyze the victims’ situations.”

Patrick distributed the docunts to everyone; Kiara skipped the first few pages and went straight to the one she was interested in, which clearly displayed the photo of the victim.

Kiara’s mind went blank.

The face of this person was eerily familiar, so familiar it was terrifying.
