Stefan had been attentively watching his father's movents. He understood exactly what he was doing, but he would back him up without saying anything.
"They found Leonard," Ella's words caught Stefan's attention.
He tilted his head in uncertainty, and she revealed. "Bernard is Leonard. He killed his brother and buried him in the backyard of his own ho." She said it in one breath.
Ella called Eveline when she revealed the entire situation with Bernard and his twin.
Stefan fell silent, slowly processing the revelation.
"How about Jedrick? How co he hasn't done anything yet?" Stefan inquired, suspicious of Jedrick's silence over everything.
"I am wondering the sa thing. His thoughts have been diverging, and it's intriguing that he maintains such silence.
Stefan furrowed his brow while expressing his thoughts.
"It's been a while since I've heard from him," he said abruptly, confusing Ella.
Stefan looked away and hastily turned on his laptop. He typed sothing and sent a ssage to the sender, KinghtZz. He was waiting for a response for quite so ti before the ssage appeared.
"Sothing occurred on my side. Let's not chat for now. Just wait for to reach you in another way." Stefan furrowed his brow as he read the ssage.
It sounded like the sender was in trouble because he wiped his ID in a couple of seconds, leaving no trace behind.
"He disappeared again," he said, confusing Stefan and Ella.
"I just hope everything is okay," she remarked, sharing an anxious look with Stefan.

[Miller Mansion]
The door clicked open, and Erna entered inside the study area, where she found Jonathan deep in thoughts.
He had been working on sothing indoors for quite so ti and had skipped breakfast. So Erna decided to check.
"You keep telling that I don't look after myself. What about you, Jonathan? You skipped breakfast today." Erna's soft voice snapped him out of his reverie.
Jonathan straightened slightly in his chair as he watched his wife gesture to the maid behind her to keep the food tray on the table between the two couches.
Once the maid had left, Erna requested her husband to join her.
Jonathan had been struggling, but everything seed to go away the mont he laid eyes on Erna's beautiful face.
"You appear distressed. Is everything okay back at the company?" she said, pouring him a glass of juice.
Jonathan paused for a second and shook his head before taking the glass from her hand.
"Everything is fine," he said, and Erna believed him.
"You cannot lie to , Jonathan. I watched you contacting soone since last night, and every ti the call did not go through, you let out a dejected sigh."
Erna was highly watchful, especially when her husband began acting strangely. He might have aged, but his behaviors stayed the sa.
Jonathan exchanged a look with Erna, who squinted her eyes, indicating that he should talk.
With a sigh, Jonathan placed the glass back on the table."You can't always be right, honey," he replied, causing her brow to wrinkle.
"I can because I know you," she replied, making him chuckle at her cuteness.
Jonathan would have revealed his concern, but he held back until he knew what was going on.His only concern was that everything was fine on the other end.
Soon soone knocked on the door, and their gaze shifted to the maid who had co to inform them of Kaden's arrival.
"Please send him in," Erna said, and after a while, her brother entered.
He abruptly paused and cocked his brow. "Refrain from spoiling my eyes with your cheeky romance, old boy."
"Oldie? Who are you calling that?" Jonathan snarled, obviously angered by Kaden's statent, but the latter simply shrugged his eyes and joined them on the other couch.
"Is there anyone else old here?" he asked, pointing to Jonathan, who scoffed.
Jonathan bristled, ready to respond, but Erna interrupted him by caressing his shoulder and asked, "What brings you here, Kaden?"
Kaden exchanged a playful grin with Jonathan, who admonished him with a smoldering stare.
'et alone.'
Kanden scoffed and glanced at his sister.
"Leonard revealed the truth," he remarked, and she gaped in surprise.
"What do you an? Did you already find him?" Erna asked.
Kaden exchanged glances with Jonathan before agreeing to her words.
"He did," he said, before revealing the full truth.
"Is Luke okay?" Erna asked.
"He's better now," he confird.
The trio continued to converse until Erna excused herself since it was ti for her dication, leaving the two alone.
The door behind them closed, and Kaden cast a quizzical look at Jonathan.
"You didn't seem surprised at all," he inquired, warning Jonathan with his remarks.
He understood what Kaden was implying, but what he said next astonished him.
"How long have you known about Leonard?" he questioned.
Jonathan would have denied, but he couldn't; after all, it was his spy who inford Luke of Bernard and Jedrick's encounter.
Jonathan shook his head as his deanor changed.
"I didn't know anything about Leonard, but I did learn about Bernard from you, and I've been monitoring him ever since," he replied, leading Kaden to furrow his brow.
"Who is this person you planted to work with Jedrick?" Kaden inquired as things began to make sense to him.
He was now convinced that the spy in Jedrick's group was assisting them, but what shocked him was Jonathan's pretense of ignorance about the situation.
"I cannot. He made promise to keep his identity hidden until everything was under control. Jonathan declined to open up, although he did reaffirm his suspicions.
Kaden gave him a 'Are you serious? look'.
He was not going to keep pretending to be innocent.
"You realize you're not helping us. If you can tell who that person is, we can work together to take down Jedrick. Why play hide and seek?" Kaden said.
He had been looking for Jedrick's all-rcy act. But even when they accomplish, it feels like they haven't done enough.
Jonathan wasn't completely open to everything. He avoided divulging the identity of his informant. But he still feels that taking tiny asures will help them, and he is mistaken.
They had already passed the little steps, and it was ti to take action. They needed to understand the extent of Jedrick's organization so they wouldn't be too cautious and attack him.
He made a surprising announcent. "We are planning to attack Jedrick."
When his words failed to affect Jonathan, Kaden frowned and leaned back hopelessly, staring at him.
Jonathan smirked. "You understand you can't until I allow it. So be patient, and let handle it."
