"Miss Ella, it's not what you think. We were just..."
"I heard everything Rita, so refrain from covering up." Ella halted her and turned to face them.
"I know what everyone thinks of , but you know what? I don't give a fuck. I don't think we're close enough to know the reason for my split," Ella said, flashing a look at Rita, who started the allegations after being brainwashed by Priscilla.
"But I guess, you are provided with limited information. So I suggest you do your full howork before coming and spouting nonsense regarding anyone's life"
Rita was the general manager and a close friend of Priscilla. She was well aware of her so-called pals' involvent with her ex-boyfriend. Despite being aware of the fact, she agreed with Priscilla to ruin her reputation at work.
"Also, instead of chatting about other people's lives, why don't you focus on your own achievents? As far as I know, you're yearning for a promotion this year. So, why not think about it before I go and talk to the head about your yearly performance?"
Ella's subtle warning caused Rita's face to turn pale. Although she appeared composed, the profundity of her words struck her like an arrow.
"I-I am sorry," she mumbled, and with her eyes, she pointed to the other two employees, who also apologized and imdiately exited the restroom.
Ella, who had been standing firm before them, let out a trembling sigh. She had no idea how long she had managed to keep herself strong, but now that they were gone, she couldn't help but be proud of herself.
She believed ignoring them would be the best approach, but Stefan stated that she shouldn't let things go till they tainted her, and that fighting is better.
She knew the incident with Rita would be reported to Priscilla, and she did want to confront her imdiately.

Jacob was becoming increasingly agitated as his phone calls had been ignored for quite so ti. He was concerned that the police probe would soon lead to his arrest.
He didn't want to rot in jail with his daughter, so he asked for help from a well-wisher. But despite repeated tries, his call was not answered, which angered him.
"AH!...why isn't he answering my calls?" Jacob shouted, about to crush the phone when it suddenly began to ring.
His eyes widened, and he swiftly focused on the caller.
A sensation of relief washed over him, and he swiftly responded.
"Why haven't you answered my calls? I am in desperate need of your assistance," he cried out of frustration.
Jacob was going crazy despite seeming calm in front of the officer, but he couldn't ignore his wife, who appeared to be acting strangely, raising his blood pressure.
The line was silent for a while, making Jacob even more uneasy.
"You will be assisted, but on one condition," Jacob frowned as he heard the guy.
Jacob knew there was always give and take in this collaboration, so when the individual ntioned the condition, he realized there was a challenge ahead.

Daniel parked his car a distance from Gracey's house and watched her prepare to leave.
"Hmm, Gracey," he said, and she halted to glance up at him.
Daniel had a great day studying with Gracey. They not only talked exam-related topics, but he also learned about her ambitious attitude.
"I'm not sure if you like it or not, but I'd like to say that I enjoy spending ti with you," his comnts made Gracey's heart skip a beat and her eyes widen at Daniel.
"I an, I have never been close to anyone, but knowing you makes my life more interesting and I am looking forward to keep this relationship forever"
Gracey didn't know what she was supposed to say.
'Did he refer to being friends with her or study partners?' she wondered, slipping deeper into the riddle.
Daniel, on the other hand, was becoming increasingly concerned by Gracey's lack of reaction. He wondered if she understood what he was saying, but her silence suggested otherwise.
"Gracey?" he asked, and she snapped out of her daze.
" too.." she added," I also feel nice around you, and" she hesitated, staring down at her clasped hand and chewing her lips.
"....and I am looking forward to keeping this friendship forever," she said, surprising Daniel.
"Friendship?" he mumbled, uncertainty coming over his face.
Daniel hoped Gracey would grasp what he was saying, but it turns out this bookworm was as naïve about human affection as he was.
Gracey promptly removed her seatbelt and bid Daniel farewell by exiting the car and walking away.
Daniel could only stare at her in bewildernt as she faded from his sight, and he let out a demotivated sigh.
"I guess I should start getting lessons from brother Stefan. I'm sure he'll help be more expressive," Daniel said as he started the car and drove away.

Eveline was seated in her room, staring out the window. Although the rain had stopped, the weather outdoors remained wet and cold.
Bringing the coffee cup closer to her lips, she took another sip. She had a sudden yearning for one after getting into the mood from the rain and requested Susan to prepare one for her.
Eveline had no idea how long she had been looking outdoors, but during that ti, her train thoughts ca to a halt.
She eventually decided not to pursue this issue any further and to relax.
If her father wasn't willing to discuss it, why was she becoming desperate?
Eveline has always honored her father's decisions and will continue to do so. With the thought process, she finished her coffee and moved over to her study table to begin her studies when her phone rang.
She paused and looked down at the screen before quickly answering.
"I miss you"
Eveline's lips curled into a pleasant smile the mont she heard Gabriel's voice.
"That's the fifteenth ti I've heard that, Gabriel. It's not like we're that far away for you to keep missing ," Eveline replied, sighing.
"I knew you'd provide a practical response. Why can't you respond that you miss too?"
Eveline laughed and pulled a chair for her to sit in before declining, "It would take so ti for to say that because I am not in the Roo mode right now."
Gabriel didn't say anything, but she could envision his disappointed expression.
The pair continued to converse with Eveline, hoping Gabriel would appear inside her chamber as he did every night.
"I'll finish up with a eting and contact you as soon as feasible. I can't wait to hug you to sleep, love." He said before they decide to end the call.
Eveline's mood improved even more after speaking with Gabriel, and she is now looking forward to studying with renewed enthusiasm.
She was halfway through her topic when she was startled by a loud banging on the door.
When Eveline jolted at the sound and turned to face the door, she heard Susan calling her na.
Her face was marked by a conflicted frown, and she rushed to open the door.
"Young Miss, Master, got into an accident."
Susan's words shook the ground beneath her feet, and she dashed to the hospital where Jonathan had been taken.

Eveline was unable to et her father because he was still being treated by doctors. She was becoming restless, concerned for her father's well-being.
Not only did her father sustain a wound, but the driver was also severely injured.
"Eve," Gabriel's anxious voice snapped her out of her reverie, and she was quickly drawn in for a hug.
"Gabriel, nothing will happen to Dad, right? He will be fine," Eveline had lost her composure since learning about the accident.
The first thing she did was call Gabriel, who rushed to her.
"Everything will be fine" he assured
Susan, who was also worried, looked at the couple before returning to the ergency room.
When the red light turned on, she yelled, "Young miss."
Eveline stepped back from the hug and exchanged a glance with Susan, who pointed to the doctor who just walked out.
"How is my father, doctor? Is he alright? Does he have serious injuries?" Eveline bombarded the man with worried questions.
Even with Gabriel by her side, she could feel her heart pounding inside her chest. She was extrely scared and the only one who could assure her was the man in white coat.
"Everything is alright. Despite being injured and having a fractured leg bone, the patient is doing well. We gave him a sedative to relieve his pain and will keep him under observation." He said, clearing her mind of all worries.
Eveline finally breathed and demanded to et with her father.
"Yes, you can, after we move him to another ward," the doctor said before excusing himself.
Susan was standing there, hearing the doctor confirm Jonathan's safety, when her eyes caught a glimpse of sothing that prompted her to look in that direction.
"Who was standing over there?" She muttered, feeling a strange sensation creep up to her heart.
It was as if the glimpse she caught was sothing familiar but failed to recognize.
