"I need to know what he said to Tiffany," her voice halted his train of thought, and he flashed his angry stare back at her.
"No. I'll ask soone from the departnt to give us the details," Gabriel imdiately rejected.
He would not let Eveline co to et Alex. He had other options that he planned to use, but not the one she suggested.
Eveline fud, glaring at him and pushing him away.
"If we're done talking, let go," she murmured, walking toward the stairs.
Gabriel sighed, aware of her dissatisfaction, and quietly followed her until she reached her classroom and entered before he turned and headed his way.

[Ella's place]
"There you go," Ella mumbled, keeping the last pancake on the stake of pancakes she had made for Stefan.
Ella, aware of how much he preferred eating her homade cuisine, made sure to offer him the best al she could prepare.
She turned off the stove, removed her apron, and dashed into their bedroom for a quick shower.
While getting dressed, she looked at the clock and wondered why Stefan wasn't ho yet, but she didn't think much about it because she had already received a text from him saying he was on his way.
Ella was applying gloss to herself in the mirror when the doorbell rang, and she dashed out to answer it, figuring it was Stefan.
"What took you so long-" Ella's voice died as she understood the guy standing in front of her was Max, not Stefan.
The sight of his filthy visage made her face harden, and she queried, "What are you doing here?" her voice void of any emotion.
Max, who couldn't get his thoughts straight since the last night, decided to show up at Ella's house to demand an explanation.
"Aren't you going to invite , or is there soone else you were expecting?" Max asked, disregarding her outraged expression.
Now that he was standing in front of her, he discovered Ella had transford into soone so lovely that he had forgotten about her previous self.
"I never expected you to try pampering yourself to impress your new lover. You never did that for ," Max mocked despite the fact that Ella had barely applied makeup to make herself stand out.
His ego had been on fire since he saw her happy with that guy, who had handed him over to the cops that night.
Without Priscilla, he may not have been released on ti and would have remained in prison.
Ella simply stared at him, taking in everything the nonsense he uttered.
"You bad luck that you don't fall in the category of even having my attention"
Ella crossed her hand and watched the smile on his face weaken after her caustic remark.
"What happened? The cat caught the tongue. Or should I say you finally saw the mirror and looked at yourself?" She kept mocking him until his face beca crimson with wrath.
Max had never felt more humiliated, especially from the girl he had dated for five years.
"You bitch, how can you talk to like that!" Max raised his voice, but Ella was unconcerned.
In fact, she remained calm and answered, "You should have considered that before feeding my mother lies. You inford her that I cheated on you with a guy younger than . How pathetic of you to put the entire bla on ."
Ella declined confronting Max about the lies he fed her mother, but thankfully her mother didn't fall for it and quickly discovered his true face.
She still wondered what made her fall for this piece of shit who was nothing but a trash.
"What wrong did I tell her, un? I know you have been whoring behind my back and sleeping with your boss's son. Such a slut to satisfy her pussy with a boy rather than a man" Max didn't hold back his words and continued to speak, until it broke her composure.
"Stop it, Max!" Ella threatened Max, "If you stand here for even a minute, I will call the police and make sure you don't co out." Max was quickly silent.
Though he wanted to keep blaming her until she broke down, he had to pull back knowing she was capable of putting him in prison.
His face was filled with fury as he gazed at Ella and cautioned her.
"I'll leave for now, but don't think this is it, Ella. Your so-called lover handed over to the cops, and I'll make sure to punish you for it."
Ella's heart tightened at his words, sending chills down her spine, but she stood steady, not allowing her concerns to show on her face.
Max smirked before turning to go.
Ella soon broke out in a cold sweat as his words spiraled through her mind and stare in the direction he disappeared.
She had no idea how long she had been there after Max had left, but a familiar voice snapped her out of her trance, and she gazed at Stefan in bewildernt.
"I knew we were telepathically connected." Stefan quipped, "See how you sensed my presence and stood here waiting for ," expecting Ella to react, but to his astonishnt, she simply smiled.
"I guess so," she said before turning to walk back into the house, Stefan following her in confusion.
It was shocking to see her so calm after he played a terrible joke on her, but he didn't mind and rushed to hug her from behind.
Ella felt astonished and looked over her shoulder at him, just to see him kiss her cheek the next second.
"I was dying to do this, but it would be better if I did it the other way," Stefan remarked, quickly turning her around to face him and pecking her lips instead.
Ella was taken aback, her eyes widening at him. She forgot why she was upset and smiled, this ti really.
"You surely have your ways with don't you?" She stated this as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"I do, which is why you fall for my ways, baby," he winked, prompting her to smile sincerely at him.
The couple stood for a few minutes before heading to the breakfast table and eating Ella's wonderful pancakes.

"What's the na?" He inquired, preparing to take his seat, but paused as he heard.
"Jacob Ambrose"
Jonathan glanced at his assistant, who appeared reluctant before nodding.
"Send him" he said before straightening up.

Jacob sat on the couch in Jonathan's office and looked confidently at the man who had once been both his business partner and friend.
"I had no idea you would make up your mind so fast," Jonathan sharply observed Jacob.
Following the incident outside his ho, Jonathan tried to get Susan to move on in her life, but she was adamant about staying with her husband.
So he offered him a deal to make sure Jacob would not act in the sa way as he had back then, pressuring Susan to give him money.
Though Susan had to endure a great deal of suffering as a result of Jacob's actions, Jonathan was unsure if he was doing it correctly.
Upon hearing his words, Jacob, who had remained silent the entire ti, grinned.
"Who said I am here to agree with you." Jonathan scowled at his blunt comnt.
"You want to treat like your dog, surviving on your thrown money, um," said Jacob, who had been silent the entire ti, as he leaned back on the couch and crossed his leg over the other person. Nevertheless, that will not occur."
Smirking at Jonathan's stunned expression, Jacob took the given cash out of his pocket and slamd it onto the table in front of them.
"I do not need your charity; all you will do is watch as everything disappears in front of your eyes, and I will soon get what is rightfully mine." Jonathan felt as though soone had set off an alarm, and his eyes grew gloomy at what Jacob had said.
"Did it frighten you, Tch? If so, that is a positive sign because you should continue to be afraid because life will get difficult for you soon, Jonathan." He spoke in a foreboding manner, saying, "The truth you have been hiding from everyone will soon get revealed."
Jonathan realized where this was going, but before Jacob could say anything more, he yelled, signaling for his assistant
"Get him out from here and make sure this man doesn't step his foot in my office again" Jonathan lost his cool.
Two guards hurried over to Jonathan, prepared to drag him out, while Jacob kept laughing at his helplessness.
"You have run out of ti, Jonathan. Your secret will soon be exposed to everyone, leaving you with nothing but misery." Jonathan was deeply affected by Jacob's words, which revived his fears even after his voice died while he was being carried out by the guards.
