“You just made that big star quite upset.” Shen Mianmian teased He Nan playfully, “I bet she’s cursing you behind your back for being a joyless Boss He.”
“Joyless?” He Nan looked at Shen Mianmian and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, “Mianmian, are you hinting at sothing? Is this your way of voicing your own thoughts?”
Shen Mianmian’s face turned red from his gaze, “Big Brother He, you’re teasing on purpose again.”
He Nan chuckled softly, “Tonight…”
He had barely spoken when Shen Mianmian suddenly cried out in pain, and her face twisted in discomfort. He Nan slightly frowned, “What’s wrong?”
“My stomach hurts.” Shen Mianmian held her stomach, looking sowhat embarrassed, “Big Brother He, I need to go to the restroom.”
Thinking it was just a normal restroom visit, but once Shen Mianmian got there, she was no longer calm. There were traces of red on her clothes, obviously, her period had started.
During this period, because of He Nan’s return, she had totally forgotten about her nstrual cycle.
She rushed to the restroom without bringing a sanitary pad, so she had no choice but to call He Nan, “Big Brother He, my period started, could you buy so sanitary pads?”
He Nan’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, and he said softly, “Wait a mont.”
A little later, He Nan ca back with a pack of sanitary pads, which he had wrapped in a black bag. “It’s alright,” Shen Mianmian said softly, “There’s only one more scene left. Once Wang Yaman finishes this scene, I can complete mine and go back.”
“Alright.” He Nan nodded slightly, “Go sit over there and rest for a while.”
Shen Mianmian and He Nan sat down on a lounge chair together. She picked up a cup of water and took a sip, only to find that the water had been changed to warm water.
To say she wasn’t moved would be a lie.

Originally, it was expected that Wang Yaman’s scene would be completed quickly, but after an hour she still hadn’t nailed it, and even the director looked displeased, “Wang Yaman, did you even morize the script?”
There were five interruptions, all because Wang Yaman forgot her lines, or she stuttered and didn’t et his requirents.
“I did morize it.”
Wang Yaman was also getting annoyed, believing her performance wasn’t that bad.
The director said, “You’ve delayed the shooting schedule again. It’s past five o’clock already.”
Wang Yaman didn’t understand where she went wrong, then had a flash of inspiration, “Why not shoot the second female lead’s part first? I could use the ti to review my lines.”
Although the director was not satisfied, he had no choice if they were to keep up with the shooting schedule.
He turned and walked over to Shen Mianmian and He Nan. The director had always favored Shen Mianmian, and with He Nan being there, he was even more polite, informing her about shooting her scene first, to which Shen Mianmian nodded her agreent imdiately.
The makeup artist ca over to touch up Shen Mianmian’s makeup slightly, and then the director called for the caras to start.
