"No need, no need." Lian He hurriedly stopped Tang Mingli, saying: "Xiao Yue’s uncle, don’t listen to Yazhi. You are renting this house; you decide if you want to live here."

Upon hearing this, Xiang Yazhi was about to speak further, but Lian He quickly pulled her away, saying, "Yazhi, weren’t you looking for Qingyang?"

"But..." Xiang Yazhi looked at the house. Though she had not put any effort into it nor lived there, were the Lian Family people short of money?

The Lian Family’s house, even if left vacant, wouldn’t be rented out.

"Stop with the ’buts’. The house rented out by Qingyang, now you want to chase people away? Is that reasonable?" Lian He said earnestly.

Xiang Yazhi pursed her lips unhappily. It was indeed not reasonable, but she just wasn’t pleased that the house was rented to Tang Yue’s uncle.

Lian He took Xiang Yazhi to where he used to live, only to find it empty. Just then, Mrs. Hu had prepared dinner and returned to arrange so clothes for Qingyang when she encountered Lian He and Xiang Yazhi.

"Sir, madam." Mrs. Hu greeted with so guilt.

The young master had been injured for so many days, and she had not inford Lian He or Xiang Yazhi. It was easier to talk to the master, but with the madam...

Mrs. Hu was extrely anxious.

Xiang Yazhi asked, "Where is Qingyang? Why don’t I see him? And Xiaotong also ca, right? Why aren’t you all at ho?"

Because of the rented house and finding it empty, Xiang Yazhi’s mood was not good, neither was her tone polite. She and Lian He ca to Jing City this ti, planning to stay for a few days and then go abroad to visit Qingqing. Xiang Yazhi was already tired from the drive, and not seeing her son made her mood even worse.

"The young master... is on Southwest Road." Mrs. Hu quickly explained, "The young master said that he would stay on Southwest Road these days, so I just ca back to get his clothes."

"Qingyang has been on Southwest Road all these days? For that woman to develop software?" Xiang Yazhi’s voice involuntarily grew louder; she knew the place on Southwest Road, where Qingyang worked—they had hired people specifically to design a piece of software.

For this reason, Xiang Yazhi had been quite upset nurous tis.

"Yazhi, what do you an by ’for that woman’?" Lian He’s face hardened: "Xiao Yue is my daughter."

Xiang Yazhi’s lips quivered.

Lian He continued: "Qingyang’s initial intention was to develop software for Xiao Yue, but once the software is actually developed, it will certainly make money. If you don’t understand, don’t just say anything; otherwise, you might hurt Qingyang’s feelings, which in turn hurts your mother-son relationship."

"Yes, yes, yes, I don’t understand anything." Xiang Yazhi turned and sat in the car, feeling invariably displeased.

Mrs. Hu hurriedly packed several sets of Qingyang’s clothes and essentials, disguising everything. Mrs. Wu also got in the car, his head lowered, trying to minimize his presence, worried about Xiang Yazhi seeing the young master’s leg.

The more Mrs. Hu thought, the more restless she felt; on the high-quality leather seat, she felt as if needles were pricking her buttocks.

"Mrs. Hu, what are you twisting around for?" Xiang Yazhi looked toward Mrs. Hu, speaking displeasedly.

"Nothing." Mrs. Hu dryly replied, holding tightly to the bag of clothes.

Southwest Road.

A three-story building, previously a small workshop with spacious premises but due to poor managent, the workshop had shut down. It was bought by Qingyang, who, having been pampered from a young age, had the ssy workshop thoroughly renovated. The once chaotic workshop instantly looked much cleaner.

The exterior was painted white, and at the entrance, the door had been replaced, making it more grand and secure. The first floor housed twenty-odd high-spec computers, so arranged in threes, others in fours, and so individual computers, separated by creatively carved wooden screens—a rather attractive sight.

The place was not very large, but whether the flooring or the interior, it all gave off a high-end feeling.

At this mont, many people were testing in front of computers.

At the very back of the first floor, there was a section partitioned off for a kitchen and dining area, specifically hiring soone to cook.

Qingyang sat beside a computer at the very back, conversing and exchanging with the person next to him. Lian He and Xiang Yazhi had arrived, but Qingyang had not yet noticed; they were at a critical stage of software developnt, which was progressing well.

"Qing..." Xiang Yazhi was about to call out when Lian He quickly pulled Qingyang aside and pointed to the sofa, sitting down, which happened to have a clear view of the ongoing discussions.

"Qingyang has really grown up," Lian He watched with a face full of gratification. The Qingyang he saw now was different from before.

The Qingyang he saw before was careless, either playing gas, hanging out with Lian Tong, or going to his uncle’s place to find fights.

Who would have thought he would be like now? As if he was fervently working. Lian He was very pleased by his serious deanor.

Xiang Yazhi was also amazed: "I also think so. Don’t you think Qingyang is getting more handso?"

Xiang Yazhi spoke joyfully, proud and arrogant as a mother seeing her son’s motivated deanor. But thinking that her son changed because of Tang Yue, Xiang Yazhi felt a bit displeased at heart.

Mrs. Hu followed quietly to the third floor.

The second floor, half was a eting room, the other half were rooms, mostly sleeping quarters for the staff working below. The third floor was Qingyang’s private space; he seldom stayed there, but everything essential was present.

Mrs. Hu placed the clothes upstairs, not going downstairs but estimating in her heart how long it would take before an explosion.

"Qingyang!"

Suddenly, Xiang Yazhi’s high-decibel voice resounded. Mrs. Hu on the third floor couldn’t help but cover her ears.

Downstairs.

Xiang Yazhi could no longer care about interrupting Qingyang’s work. She bolted forward, her gaze falling on Qingyang’s leg, asking, "Qingyang, what happened to your leg? Why is it in a cast?"

"Leg?" Lian He had been observing Qingyang’s workplace, naturally wanting to see how his son had managed things. Hearing Xiang Yazhi’s scream, Lian He’s brows furrowed subconsciously, then hearing her words, his gaze finally fell on Qingyang’s leg, obviously wrapped in a cast and bandaged.

Lian He stepped forward, although he remained silent, the concern was clearly conveyed through his eyes.
