[God]It’s five o’clock.

[God]Qing Kong, you’re not going to stand up, are you?

[God]Did sothing happen to you?

He sent three ssages in a row. It was already ten past five!

He glanced at the ti, then at the darkening avatar, and the feeling of unease in his heart grew especially strong.

She never misses a planned eting.

He grabbed his phone and imdiately dialed a series of numbers.

Lying on the grass, ng Shuqing, who just finished sparring with Jian Xing, saw the phone screen and instantly sat up on the lawn. She swiped her phone and held it to her ear, a smile appearing on her lips before she realized it, and said, "Xiao Bai, are you back from country F?"

"I’m older than you." An Bai heard her voice, as cheerful as a nightingale, and the worry in his heart instantly eased.

"Tch."

ng Shuqing hated this line the most. Just because he’s older, why can’t she call him ’Xiao Bai’?

She just liked calling him Xiao Bai.

"Xiao Bai, where are you?" ng Shuqing changed the topic.

An Bai slightly smiled and said, "Miss ?"

ng Shuqing rolled her eyes and said indignantly, "Who misses you?!"

"I’ll be back by National Day. By then, I’ll be staying in Huaxia permanently, so you’ll be seeing every day. Don’t get too excited!"

An Bai thought about how he had been in country F for years, barely making it back once a year. They had to rely on phone calls to keep in touch, but ng Shuqing wasn’t a fan of long phone calls. To see ng Shuqing, he had to rely on photos from ho to ease his longing.

"Who’s excited?" ng Shuqing suppressed her joy, said a few more words, and hung up.

"Boyfriend?"

Jian Xing’s eyes burned with gossip.

"What boyfriend? He’s just my..." ng Shuqing paused, unsure how to introduce An Bai. She added, "His mom and my mom are really good friends, practically sisters."

"Oh, childhood friends then." Jian Xing looked knowingly.

ng Shuqing pursed her lips and said, "You’re thinking too much. What childhood friends? He’s not my boyfriend."

"No way." Jian Xing didn’t believe it. She said, "If he’s not your boyfriend, then why did you smile so sweetly just now?"

"Sweetly?"

ng Shuqing furrowed her brows, wondering where the sweetness was.

"I live in this apartnt, where do you live?" Jian Xing asked.

ng Shuqing said, "I live in building three, on the seventh floor."

Jian Xing blinked and said, "I live in building four, on the seventh floor."

"Such a coincidence!"

Jian Xing felt it was such a coincidence; their apartnts were practically next to each other.

"So, what do you like to play?" Jian Xing asked as they walked to the apartnt.

"Video gas."

ng Shuqing answered without hesitation. She loved gaming the most.

" too!"

Jian Xing was even more excited. They had the sa interests and similar temperants, and by the ti they got to the apartnt, they were already quite familiar with each other.

They exchanged phone numbers, added each other on WeChat, and even liked the sa gas.

However, ng Shuqing preferred playing on the computer, while Jian Xing liked playing on her phone.

"Shuqing, playing on the phone is really fun. You can play anyti, anywhere," Jian Xing said happily, trying to convince ng Shuqing to play on her phone too.

ng Shuqing raised an eyebrow and said, "The screen is too small!"

She just loved the big screen of the computer; it was so satisfying to play on it!

"But you can’t play on a computer anyti, anywhere," Jian Xing said, tilting her head.

"Oh no!"

ng Shuqing suddenly rembered she had an appointnt with God to play gas at five. It was already past five.

"I have sothing to do at ho, I’ll leave first."

ng Shuqing rushed ho, and as soon as she got online, she saw the three ssages from God. ng Shuqing quickly apologized, explaining that sothing had co up, causing her to delay and keep God waiting.

God was easygoing, jokingly saying not to stand him up next ti. Then the two of them continued gaming.

After gaming, ng Shuqing’s ordered delivery arrived. She enjoyed a lavish-looking delivery al and sat by the window, catching the breeze and digesting.

Holding her phone, she saw a ssage from ’Fanxing’ on WeChat and rembered the friend she made today.

"Shuqing, want to play a ga?" Jian Xing sent a ga invitation to ng Shuqing.

She spent all her free ti gaming.

"I’ll try."

ng Shuqing casually accepted Jian Xing’s invitation.

Compared to the computer, the phone screen was really too small, but operating it was convenient. Her slender fingers danced on the screen. Aside from the initial slight discomfort, ng Shuqing quickly adapted to gaming on the phone.

Jian Xing liked to talk. Throughout a ga, her voice never stopped. But one couldn’t deny that computer gaming and mobile gaming each had their advantages. Besides the small screen, the ability to play gas anyti, anywhere really appealed to ng Shuqing!

In the following week, Jian Xing and ng Shuqing’s friendship blossod quickly due to their shared interests and hobbies, and ng Shuqing even fell in love with mobile gaming.

After lunch, during break ti, they could even squeeze in a ga.

Poor God, he kept waiting for ng Shuqing to get online to play gas. Gaming at a fixed ti every day was his happiest, most joyful ti!

But suddenly, ng Shuqing fell in love with mobile gas.

God was so frustrated!

He couldn’t just hold a phone and sit there gaming, could he?

"Chenchen."

Chu Huaijin finally finished his work and handed over the roast duck he specially bought, saying, "Your favorite roast duck. Oh, who’s this..."

Chu Huaijin saw an unfamiliar young girl with long black hair, a long dress, and a petite, delicate face, looking like a beauty straight out of ancient tis.

When did Chenchen get such a person around her?

"This is my newly-made friend, Jian Xing." ng Shuqing’s eyes lit up at the roast duck, and she said, "Thanks, Brother Jin. This is Aunt Qin’s son, my senior, Chu Huaijin."

"Another childhood friend?"

Jian Xing whispered in ng Shuqing’s ear.

ng Shuqing: "..."

To her, does everyone seem like her childhood friend?

"You’re the great talent who just transferred to the dical departnt, aren’t you?" Jian Xing tilted her head and asked, "Is Chenchen Shuqing’s nickna?"

"What’s all this talent talk? Just call Chu Huaijin." Chu Huaijin knew Jian Xing was ng Shuqing’s friend, so he was happy to chat. "Chenchen is Shuqing’s nickna."

"Oh."

Jian Xing replied, "Chenchen, how about I call you that from now on?"

"Then I’ll call you Xingxing?" ng Shuqing countered.

"Chenchen."

"Xingxing."

Chu Huaijin, watching this: "..."
