"Let’s go over there and take a look." Yuan Yu walked over to Tang Jun’s side, only feeling safe when she was near him.

"A blind guy finding sothing? That’d be a miracle."

Ni Yan looked disdainfully and flatly refused Yuan Yu, his displeasure obvious as he glanced at Tang Jun, whom he disliked even more. Suddenly, his gaze fell on the gentle slope nearby. This bloody blind guy was just an eyesore, and Ni Yan quietly edged closer to Tang Jun.

"Don’t go too close to the edge; be careful not to fall." As Yuan Yu searched for ginseng, she repeatedly warned Tang Jun not to go near the edge.

"No worries, I’m standing firm, you’re really nice."

Tang Jun grinned, looking like a clueless young man.

Yuan Yu smirked without saying anything further.

Tang Jun sensed Ni Yan’s tentative approach and pondered the reason—Ni Yan was narrow-minded and likely found him displeasing.

Now, moving quietly and subtly, Ni Yan must have so ill intent.

A gentle slope was right nearby; was Ni Yan planning to do sothing to him?

Tang Jun was about to step back but suddenly paused. He turned his head and asked, "Xiao Ming, how’s the search for ginseng going? We should find more and keep so for ourselves."

"Brother, don’t worry, I’m trying hard to find them." Holding the responsibility of marking the spot, He Ming stayed crouched, ostensibly seeking the herb with a sense of urgency and anxiety. No one doubted how concerned He Ming was for his brother’s eyes.

"There should be a lot of ginseng around here; why can’t we find any?"

Yuan Yu also found it odd. The area was known for plenty of ginseng, yet they hadn’t found any despite searching for so long.

Yuan Yu earnestly searched but found nothing after a long ti.

"Hey, what’s that?"

Suddenly, Ni Yan shouted loudly, pointing his flashlight towards the distance, and like the wind, ran swiftly forward, crashing into Tang Jun in the process.

Although Tang Jun could have evaded Ni Yan’s move, he didn’t and instead fell towards the slope to the side, letting out a shout with an expression of feigned panic, rolling down into the mountain ravine, consciously protecting his head and vital areas.

"What happened?"

Initially, everyone looked at Ni Yan, but soon focused on where Tang Jun had rolled down. The loud noise when Tang Jun fell grabbed everyone’s attention, with flashlights trained on his fall.

"Brother."

He Ming jumped with shock seeing Tang Jun tumble down, instinctively wanting to rush over but soon slowed his pace.

Stumbling, He Ming jogged down the slippery, difficult slope on the rainy day.

Tang Jun.

Yuan Yu nearly shouted Tang Jun’s na, glaring at Ni Yan saying, "Why did you deliberately push him down?"

Ni Yan was about to voice his prepared excuse, but Yuan Yu had already rolled down.

Yes, she really rolled down.

Unlike He Ming who slid down slowly, Yuan Yu just rolled.

"You’re crazy!"

Ni Yan was utterly caught off guard by Yuan Yu’s sudden roll down, didn’t she know it was dangerously reckless?

"Quick, rescue them!"

Panicking, Ni Yan shouted. If the lady doctor died here, not to ntion how difficult it’d be to explain to Dad, even explaining to Brother would be troubleso.

She was brought here to save Dad, not a blind guy.

"Get moving!"

Ni Yan shouted, as everyone frantically scrambled towards the ravine. Yet, the ravine was deep, the slope eerily profound and slippery, so they couldn’t brave rolling down like Yuan Yu; descending took longer.

"Hey, are you okay?"

Yuan Yu coincidentally landed on Tang Jun, her unique scent made him notice instantly.

With tall grass around, so dark, their voices far away, Tang Jun didn’t need to conceal his feelings, gripping Yuan Yu’s hand anxiously and worriedly, "Are you crazy? How could you roll down here? Are you hurt anywhere?"

"If you can roll down, why can’t I?" Yuan Yu retorted peevishly, "I’m fine but you, why are you here? Do you realize how dangerous this place is? Your eyes still haven’t healed, you shouldn’t be here."

Lowering her voice, Yuan Yu felt the urge to lash at Tang Jun upon seeing him in the detainnt zone. How could he have co here?

Such a dangerous place, how could he co here?

"I have my reasons for being here, but you, I’ve heard you were captured to save soone?" Tang Jun quietly conversed with Yuan Yu, whispering, "This ti, Jiang Liu ca with a team; they’re nearby. You should take this chance to go with them."

Tang Jun knew Jiang Liu’s team must be sowhere nearby; though grim and distant, escape was certainly possible given the darkness.

"No, I can’t leave; I still need to collect ginseng." Yuan Yu refused.

Tang Jun held onto Yuan Yu tightly, insisting, "No, you have to leave, it’s not safe here."

"What about Xu Qinglang? If I leave, what about him?" Yuan Yu countered.

"Don’t worry, we’ll ensure he leaves safely." Hearing Xu Qinglang’s na from Yuan Yu made Tang Jun dislike it.

"No, I won’t leave. Precisely because it’s dangerous, I can’t leave."

Yuan Yu firmly resisted leaving; if she did, wouldn’t Tang Jun be in greater danger?

Besides, how could she leave with Tang Jun here?

"Yuan Yu, listen." Tang Jun struggled to persuade Yuan Yu, only forcefully insisting she leave.

"I won’t leave."

Adaptably firm, Yuan Yu declared, "If you force to leave, I’ll call out and then everyone’s dood."

"Xiao Yu, don’t be stubborn, it’s really risky."

Tang Jun spoke gently.

"No." Yuan Yu diverted the subject, avoiding continuation, saying, "What was your plan sneaking in with He Ming? What can I do? Can I help in any way?"

"Xiao Yu."

As soon as Tang Jun began speaking, Yuan Yu interrupted, "We don’t have much ti to talk, hurry, or there won’t be another chance. They’ll find us soon."

Tang Jun realized he couldn’t persuade Yuan Yu montarily, saying, "You’re a doctor, they shouldn’t be too harsh. If you can map the area’s layout, and identify the guards’ spots, it’ll be the best help."
