Yuan Yu’s face blushed with shyness, then her bright and sparkling eyes blinked as she nodded and said, "I like him, I want to marry him. Sis, do you agree?"

When Yuan Yu said she wanted to marry him, her gaze was firm, but when she asked Tang Yue, it was timid, which made one feel affection.

"It doesn’t matter if I agree; it’s only valid if Xiao Jun agrees." Tang Yue smiled as she examined Yuan Yu, seeing that the girl looked very good, dared to love and hate, straightforward in nature, not one for twists and turns. Moreover, her eyes were clear; she liked her at first sight.

"Sis, do you agree?" Yuan Yu leaned forward to ask, looking at Tang Yue with an expectant face.

"I agree."

Tang Yue nodded without hesitation. She knew Tang Jun’s disposition, at ho he was quite talkative, but outside, when confronted with won he couldn’t get a word out, the type to blush when speaking with won. Now with Yuan Yu being so actively proactive, the push and pull form a perfect complent.

"Sis, you’re so good, you must help ," Yuan Yu said happily, holding onto Tang Yue’s hand.

Tang Yue was taken aback by Yuan Yu’s enthusiasm. She said, "My agreent is just mine, I won’t interfere in matters between you and Xiao Jun."

Yuan Yu was about to speak, but Tang Yue added, "Xiao Jun isn’t in Jing City, if you want to find him, I’m afraid it’ll be in vain."

"Hasn’t he gone ho?" Yuan Yu’s topic was instantly shifted, looking at Tang Yue with a puzzled face, she puffed her cheeks and muttered, "Could he have lied to ?"

"He’s gone back ho." Tang Yue replied with a light smile, finding Yuan Yu’s mumbling expression extrely cute.

It seed like Chenchen and Zaozao would soon have an aunt.

"Mom."

Seeing Tang Yue return, Chenchen rushed over. Having just bathed, her hair was still slightly wet on her forehead. She said, "Mom, have you eaten? Today we ate big stead buns."

"I’ve eaten." Tang Yue pinched her daughter’s soft face and asked, "What else did you eat besides stead buns?"

"Cabbage." Chenchen blinked her big eyes as she answered.

"And what else?" Tang Yue held Chenchen in her arms and asked again.

Chenchen tilted her head to think and said, "And at."

"I can’t rember." Despite her efforts, Chenchen couldn’t recall the last dish and could only turn for help to Zaozao.

"White radish." Zaozao responded, then resud reading her book.

"That’s right."

Chenchen echoed, snuggling in Tang Yue’s arms, unwilling to get up. She held onto Tang Yue tightly and said, "Mom, don’t leave, okay?"

"I want to see mom every day." Chenchen looked up, with her eyes blinking full of expectation at her.

"Chenchen." Before Tang Yue could decide how to comfort her, Si Yu, who had just bathed, scooped her into his arms and said, "Chenchen has to study, dad has to work, mom also has her work. Mom is going to country F and will be back in a maximum of half a month. During this half month, dad will take care of you and your brother, okay?"

Before Chenchen could figure it out, Si Yu went on, "Doesn’t Chenchen like being with dad?"

"Yes." Chenchen nodded.

Si Yu praised her with a kiss on the cheek and said, "Chenchen is so good, we’ll be good and stay ho waiting for mom to co back and bring us presents, okay?"

"Okay."

Chenchen’s lingering thoughts about her mom were soon coaxed away by Si Yu.

"Okay." Tang Yue looked at Chenchen reluctantly and then turned to Zaozao nearby saying, "I will bring gifts for Zaozao too."

"Honey." Si Yu gazed at her eagerly.

Tang Yue raised an eyebrow and asked, "You wouldn’t expect to bring gifts for you too, would you?"

"Dad’s embarrassed," Chenchen said, reaching out her little fingers to poke Si Yu’s face.

Si Yu held her daughter’s hand, completely unembarrassed, saying, "Honey, what’s so embarrassing about you bringing gifts? It ans you keep in mind, hold dear."

Si Yu grinned widely.

Tang Yue countered, "Did you bring gifts when you went out?"

Si Yu froze, couldn’t help but touch his nose; when he went out, it was purely for missions.

"Alright, I’m just teasing you." Seeing he took it seriously, Tang Yue seriously said, "Just return safely, that’s worth more than any gifts."

"With such a good wife, I’d crawl back if I had to." Si Yu extended his long arm, pulling her into his arms.

He couldn’t bear leaving his wife and two children.

"Stop saying silly things." Tang Yue swung her fists, lightly hitting his shoulder; she wanted him to be safe, well, crawling back sounded unlucky.

"I’m being squished!"

Chenchen laughed ’giggling’ while shouting.

"Let see." Si Yu loosened his grip, holding Chenchen in his arms, scrutinizing her as he declared, "Still the prettiest little princess in our family."

Zaozao put down her book, sat beside Tang Yue, realizing mom was about to leave on a trip, he too felt reluctant.

"Zaozao, you’re the big brother, must take care of little sister. When mom returns, I’ll bring gifts for you, what do you want?" Tang Yue gently asked, adding, "Other than books, if it’s books, mom won’t be able to carry them."

"As long as mom brings it, I like it all." Zaozao smiled with pursed lips, his deep eyes like black gems looking at Tang Yue, glistening.

In the living room, under the bright lights, the family of four sat on the sofa chatting, the atmosphere warm and unforgettable.

After sending the two children to rest, Tang Yue finally discussed Yuan Yu’s matter in detail with Si Yu. Si Yu said, "She chased him all the way to Jing City; unless she sees Xiao Jun, she probably won’t leave."

"When is Xiao Jun coming back?" Si Yu asked with his head down.

Tang Yue thought for a mont, probably he would arrive in Jing City tomorrow. She asked, "Doesn’t Yuan Yu need to go to the office?"

"She is on holiday." Si Yu rembered running into Mr. Yuan a couple of days ago, who ntioned Yuan Yu taking a vacation.

"Perfect, they can et tomorrow then."

As Tang Yue said it, she was just contemplating whether to give Tang Jun a heads-up, Si Yu already rolled over, pressing her down.

The next day, when Tang Yue woke up, her side was already empty, Zaozao and Chenchen had been sent to school; there was still hot porridge in the rice cooker.

After she drank the porridge, she saw the note Si Yu left for her: there’s porridge in the rice cooker, ho by night.

Such a short sentence, Tang Yue tucked the note into the bedside drawer, secretly muttering to herself, he probably won’t co back; if he does, how can I sleep well tonight?

She yawned; it was almost dawn when she fell asleep this morning, still feeling sleepy now.

"Sis."

The door knocked, along with the sound of ’Sis’, Tang Yue hesitated for a mont, opened the door, and there was Yuan Yu standing by the door, holding a lunchbox, saying, "Sis, you haven’t had breakfast, right? I bought buns."
