Chapter 65: Chapter 65: Ending The eting Abruptly
"I have done so many bad things, and I think, no, I know I cannot be forgiven for what I have done," Yuan Renshu said, holding his chin with a wistful smile.
"I believe that forgiveness is possible if one is truly sincere; have you tried apologizing to her with all sincerity?" Shi Bei inquired, as she was completely interested in his story.
"I can not face her; I feel guilty every ti I look at her; she is one-of-a-kind, but I was blinded by circumstances and caused her so much pain," Yuan Renshu said with a nostalgic smile.
"And, besides, I am certain she will not forgive ," Yuan Renshu exhaled slightly.
He was confident that Xin Yan would never forgive him, given what she had discovered. She was determined to end him, so that is exactly what she would do.
"Have you ever thought about trying to et her? Who knows, she may find it in her heart to forgive you." Shi Bei had a positive outlook, whereas Yuan Renshu had a negative one.
He felt sothing stir in him as he looked at her. She differed from Jiang Lanfen. She had only recently t him, but she had already given him advice that his wife would not even consider giving him.
Jiang Lanfen was self-centered; he had recently discovered this and wondered why he had not realized it sooner.
"You know, I have not tried pleading for her forgiveness because I have been so preoccupied with myself that I have forgotten about this; thank you for such wonderful advice," he thanked her, almost jumping on her to give her a big hug, but he was able to resist.
Shi Bei tried not to grin. She could see his reaction but chose not to ntion it.
"I would like you to eat your al and then take so hangover drugs before you leave," she said, smiling.
"Am I allowed to sleep here?" He asked, "I promise to leave tomorrow morning." He did not want to return ho because he knew he would be subjected to Jiang Lanfen’s nagging.
Honestly, he felt more at ease in this situation. Shi Bei was far superior to Jiang Lanfen in terms of fun and gentleness.
"It is up to you; if you want to sleep over, I will not force you to return to your ho, it is your choice." Shi Bei’s response was unexpected, and for the first ti that evening, she noticed him smile, and she was drawn to his beautiful smile.
"You look really beautiful while smiling," she complinted him, causing his smile to widen.
"Thank you; you are also very beautiful," he said to her, and she gave him a shy smile.
They started staring at each other, and one thing led to another, until Shi Bei found herself in his arms, her clothes being pulled off.
She wanted to stop herself because he appeared to be married, but her body refused to cooperate; she could not resist him.
Each piece of clothing was gradually removed from her body. Slow, sensual kisses trailed up from her hands and reached her throat.
She tried to suppress a moan, but when he bit her on the sensitive spot behind her left ear, she could not help but moan.
"I really want to do it with you, but I will respect your wishes; if you want
to stop, you can tell
now," Yuan Renshu decided to ask her permission.
He wanted her, but if she did not want him, he would not force himself on her. He wanted them to agree.
Shi Bei imdiately told him, "Do not stop." She enjoyed simply being with him.
Who cared about his marital status? She would worry about the consequences later.
Yuan Renshu wasted no ti in pressing her under him once he had her permission.
*Li Qiang’s Mansion*
After a long day at the mall, Xin Yan and Li Chuxi arrived ho.
"I am so exhausted," Xin Yan exclaid before collapsing onto the chair and rubbing her legs. She was too tired.
"Here, mommy, you will need it," Li Chuxi said, passing a glass of water to Xin Yan, who smiled. Her daughter was the cutest, she told herself.
"Mommy, are your legs hurting?" Li Chuxi inquired, worried, as she noticed Xin Yan constantly rubbing her legs.
"Just a little, they are just sore; they will improve once I get enough rest," Xin Yan admitted with a smile, and Li Chuxi pursed her lips.
She noticed the tiredness on Xin Yan’s face. She paused for a mont before heading to her room.
She quickly dialed a number, which turned out to be Li Qiang’s. He had gotten her a phone so she could reach him in an ergency, and Xin Yan’s case was currently an ergency.
Li Qiang was in a eting when they were interrupted by the sound of a phone.
Everyone turned to face themselves. Who had the audacity to bring a phone into the conference room?
They searched amongst themselves for a while but could not find the ringing telephone. All eyes turned to the President, who had beco self-aware.
He did not say anything, but he did pull the phone from his pocket. He frowned when he noticed it was Li Chuxi. He raised his hands to indicate that they had remained silent, which stunned the board greatly.
What happened to not having phone calls during the eting?
"Chuxi, what is the problem?" Li Qiang inquired, his brow furrowed.
When he ntioned that na, they quickly got an answer. Everyone was aware of Chuxi’s identity. Their President’s adoptive child. They still wondered why the couple adopted a child, but they did not dare to ask because it was none of their business.
"Daddy, mommy is not feeling well, but you know how she is; she will not take any dication even if I tell her to," Li Qiang frowned at her words.
He was, of course, aware of Xin Yan’s behavior. She would not care about her health as long as she did not experience a breakdown. It appeared that Li Chuxi had called him regarding sothing serious.
"I will be ho soon; for the ti being, try to get her to eat," Li Qiang said before hanging up the phone.
"I apologize, but this is where we have to end this eting," Li Qiang said before walking out, accompanied by a surprised Gao Yang and leaving the board of directors with open mouths.
