While Xin Yi saw the doctor off, Zhang Luiying opened her eyes. She had woken up when the doctor and Xin Yi had stepped into the room.

At first, she wanted to let them know that she was awake, but she decided against it, and she was glad she did.

While still on the bed, she thought to herself, ’am I really carrying a baby in my belly?’

She rubbed her stomach calmly, and a smile appeared on her face. She was excited about the prospect of having a baby, but she did not know what Xin Yi thought about it.

Xin Yi walked into the room, and a gentle smile spread on his lips, seeing Zhang Luiying sleep peacefully.

He ca to stand beside her, the smile on his face not leaving his face one bit.

Zhang Luiying’s heart felt stifled. It wasn’t clear to her why Xin Yi had such a thought, knowing the dilemma they were facing.

Once Xin Yi left, Zhang Luiying imdiately sat up. She pald her forehead in fright. She felt a headache coming up.

"Xin Yi, I truly hope I am not pregnant, I know you will be disappointed, but I cannot risk our future baby’s peace when all these issues haven’t been settled," Zhang Luiying held her stomach, praying fervently for a miracle to happen.

An hour later, Xin Yi was finally done with the pudding. He wiped the sweat off his forehead as he looked at the ss he made.

But it was all worth it since he could finally make the pudding, he actually had three trials, before he could finally make it to good taste.

"Grandma, does it look good?" He asked as he looked at his grandma on the phone. He enlisted the help of his grandma; thus, he could only video call her.

Grandma Xin looked at the Green Tea Tofu Pudding with a face full of concentration. The twins who were at the back were also quiet, for fear of making her lose concentration.

"It is good, now, taste it, how does it taste?" Grandma Xin instructed, and Xin Yi did as told.

"It is okay, I only hope she likes it, she has not had anything tangible to eat for the past few days, and she is easily nauseous," Xin Yi was distressed.

Grandma Xin chuckled quietly.

"What was the doctor’s conclusion?" Grandma asked.

"The doctor concluded that she could be pregnant, but we should be at the hospital tomorrow for a conclusive test, grandma,

I hope she is really pregnant, I really want to see a little Luiying running around," Xin Yi had a face full of expectation, and Grandma Xin had a gentle look on her face.

"Be positive, and everything will be okay," Grandma Xin motivated him, and he nodded.

"I will, thanks for your help Grandma, I will be hanging up now," he said to her, and the phone went blank imdiately.

"Okay, now, I have to take care of the kitchen," he murmured to himself, looking at the huge ss he made. He could only breathe out loud, before he busied himself with the cleaning.

He was done a few monts later, and his back was drenched with sweat.

"Phew, glad that is over," he exhaled, before deciding to check up on Zhang Luiying.

Zhang Luiying was seated on the bed with a horrible expression when he ca in. He frowned, wondering what must have happened to her.

"I hurt my finger," Zhang Luiying showed him her finger which was bleeding.
