Yunyi went to the cafeteria, picked up their main dishes, and returned to the small courtyard with Huo Jingrui. "Have you found that person’s whereabouts?" she asked.

Huo Jingrui placed the several lunchboxes on the table and nodded. "Found it. But as the saying goes, ’a cunning hare has three burrows.’ I’m afraid that place is just a temporary hideout. I’ve already had soone keep an eye on it."

Yunyi was sowhat puzzled. "Why would they go to such a remote place to pass ssages?"

Huo Jingrui arranged the lunchboxes one by one. "It’s probably because that man spent most of his ti active around the Agricultural Reclamation Group, so they chose that location."

After saying this, he thought of sothing. "That person is crucial. Whether we can dig out the most deeply hidden ’fish’ might well depend on him."

Yunyi looked at Huo Jingrui. "Do you an that the big ’fish’ that slipped through the net before will contact him directly?"

Huo Jingrui nodded. "Yes."

After opening the lunchboxes, Huo Jingrui then asked, "What about on your end?"

Thinking back to what she had seen, Yunyi shook her head, trying to dispel the unpleasant images from her mind. "Zhong Liyuan is no good," she said. "When I went over yesterday, I found soone in her room. And that person was none other than Guo Aibing, who went to the countryside with Lun Huaijing."

Upon hearing this, Huo Jingrui frowned. "They were together?"

Yunyi nodded. "Guo Aibing must have been manipulated by Zhong Liyuan into betraying Lun Huaijing. I just don’t know if Lun Huaijing has grown suspicious. I didn’t want to startle the snake, so I figured it’s best to leave this matter to the professionals."

Huo Jingrui naturally understood Yunyi’s aning. "Got it. I’ll arrange it as soon as I get back to the county town."

He was incredibly busy, but having just reunited with his treasure, he didn’t want her to worry, so he had made a special trip back.

After dinner, Huo Jingrui asked, "Yi’er, you ntioned before that you traded your space for my sake. Then what was that all about yesterday?"

Yunyi stood up, went out to latch the courtyard gate, and then returned to the room, pulling him into the space. She then recounted everything that had happened since she arrived here; of course, Huo Jingrui already knew so of it, as he had previously conducted an investigation.

Huo Jingrui hadn’t expected his little girl to be so lucky. "Your luck is truly unparalleled."

Yunyi took him on a tour of the space. "This space seems much inferior to my previous one, but the stones here are all treasures." With a re thought, a piece of greenish-yellow Warm Jade appeared in her hand. "Look, the quality of this Warm Jade isn’t bad, right? When I was filming outside a few days ago, I relied solely on it to stay warm. The Jade Stones here are thousands of tis better than ordinary jade."

Huo Jingrui took the Warm Jade from her hand. "Indeed, it’s top-grade."

Yunyi said with a proud look, "All the stones in this space are treasures, and each color has a different effect."

Looking at these Jade Stones, an idea sparked in her mind. I’ll carve so jade ornants later to have on hand for ergencies.

Hearing Yunyi’s words, Huo Jingrui took the Jade Pendant from his pocket. "Yi’er, this Jade Pendant..."

He had intended to say that the Jade Pendant was of special significance and that he would feel more at ease if Yunyi kept it.

But Yunyi stopped him. "I originally gave you that Jade Pendant. Since it ca here with you, there must be a reason for it. You should keep it with you."

Huo Jingrui gently caressed the Jade Pendant. He recalled that it hadn’t been with him in his previous life, but for so reason, it had appeared here this ti. Perhaps, just as Yunyi said, there’s a reason for it. "Alright," he agreed.

The space wasn’t large, and Yunyi soon finished showing Huo Jingrui around. Knowing he had to rush back to the county town soon, Yunyi said, "You’ll probably be busy for a while. We have a mont, so why don’t you drink so Spiritual Spring Water and then take a bath?"

Huo Jingrui knew Yunyi was looking out for his well-being. He glanced at his wristwatch. "Okay, I’ll do as you say."

The reason she had Huo Jingrui drink the Spiritual Spring Water and soak in a warm spring bath before leaving was because she had noticed many hidden injuries on his body. Now that he had recovered his mory, she naturally wanted to help him recuperate, especially since the upcoming operation to "close the net" was bound to be even tougher.
