Inside the restaurant, Camilla lowered her gaze, lost in thought, remaining motionless for a long while.

Vicente waited quietly, saying nothing.

Hidden beneath the brim of his baseball cap, his dark eyes flickered imperceptibly toward a certain direction.

Noticing that a furtive figure was still lingering, his eyes narrowed slightly.

Had she followed them to confirm whether he was really eting with Calvin, or was there another reason?

"Sir, miss," A waiter approached with an elegantly arranged al, breaking the silence between them.

"Pardon the interruption—here are the dishes you ordered."

The waiter’s arrival pulled Camilla back from the tangled web of her speculations.

"Thank you."

"You’re welco," The waiter set down the plates, unable to resist stealing a discreet glance at Camilla.

Her skin was porcelain-fair, her features exquisitely delicate.

Despite her breathtaking beauty, there was an unmistakable air of cool detachnt about her—a clarity that cut through like ice.

The striking contrast in her beauty blended seamlessly, captivating all eyes that fell upon her.

No wonder this gentleman had abandoned his wife and children just to dine with her..

The waiter sighed inwardly, his sympathy for lissa deepening.

Yet with such breathtaking looks, she could have had countless options—why ddle in soone else’s marriage?

Camilla noticed the waiter’s peculiar gaze and glanced up. "Is there anything else?"

eting those clear, luminous eyes, the waiter stiffened, snapping back to reality.

"No, nothing at all.

My apologies."

She stamred out the words before hastily retreating with the tray, not daring to linger.

Watching the waiter scurry away, a flicker of sothing unreadable passed through Camilla’s deep, beautiful eyes.

She turned to Vicente.

"Go ahead and eat. I’ll be right back."

"Alright," Vicente nodded.

Clutching her purse, Camilla rose and made her way toward the restroom.

The slender, graceful figure walking ahead exuded an indescribable elegance.

lissa bit her lip lightly.

She needed to see what kind of woman this was before confronting Vicente about it.

Glancing in his direction and confirming he wasn’t paying attention, she quietly rose from her seat and followed Camilla toward the restroom.

What lissa didn’t know was that the mont she left, Vicente’s dark, lowered eyes flicked toward her.

Leaving just because it wasn’t Calvin?

The corner of his mouth twitched as he took a sip of hot tea, swallowing down the bitterness.

Just then, a curvaceous figure with a slender waist and long legs approached his table

. "Vicente?"

Vincent looked up, surprise flashing across his face at the sight of the newcor.

anwhile.

The waitress set down a tray and headed toward the restroom.

Camilla followed behind her, expression icy.

That woman had given her a strange look earlier—sothing was off.

She needed to be cautious and get to the bottom of it.

The mont the waitress stepped out of the restroom, she spotted Camilla waiting by the sinks.

She looked visibly uncomfortable and tried to leave after washing her hands.

"Wait, I need to ask you sothing."

lissa, still inexperienced in surveillance, hesitated to follow too closely for fear of being noticed.

She dawdled her way toward the restroom.

Standing in front of the sink, she pretended to fix her makeup, waiting for what felt like an eternity.

Yet, the familiar figure she expected never erged from inside.

What’s taking so long?

After a few seconds of hesitation, lissa stepped into the restroom—only to find every stall empty.

Her brows furrowed in confusion.

That’s strange.

She definitely ca this way.

Did I miss?

With no sign of the person, lissa had no choice but to give up and go confront Vicente instead.

Only after she left did two figures erge from the adjacent break room.

"The person who told you those things—"

Camilla released her grip from the waiter’s mouth and turned her gaze toward her.

"—was this young lady?"

The icy aura surrounding her gradually softened.

The woman before her appeared delicate and harmless, but just monts ago, she had pinned the waiter against the wall with a needle, interrogating her in a way that sent chills down the spine.

Too terrified to lie, the waiter nodded with a pale face.

"Y-yes, that’s right."

"I see."

Camilla nodded, the coldness in her eyes lting away completely, leaving only a gentle, almost radiant beauty.

"Did I frighten you just now?"

The waiter instinctively nodded again before quickly shaking her head in realization.

"N-no, not at all."

"I’ll have soone prepare an apology gift for you later."

A faint smile curled at Camilla’s crimson lips.

"Go ahead with your work."

The waiter only caught the latter half of the sentence, as if granted a reprieve.

The waiter nodded hastily at Camilla and hurried away.

anwhile.

lissa stord toward Vicente’s table, her face flushed with anger.

But just a few steps away, she froze.

—There, beside Vicente, sat a woman with fiery red lips and a curvaceous figure, clutching his arm as she whispered sothing in his ear.

Vicente made no move to pull away, still lounging lazily against the back of the sofa, his expression unreadable.

From her angle, the two looked uncomfortably close.

One wasn’t enough, and now another?

At least the last one hadn’t been this intimate—but what about this?

A haze of tears blurred lissa’s vision, her thoughts spiraling into chaos.

She had no idea how to react or what to do next.

For several seconds, she stood rooted to the spot, stunned.

Then, abruptly, she turned and rushed toward the exit, her steps unsteady, almost frantic.

By the ti she reached the door, she was so distracted that she missed a step and nearly stumbled.

Luckily, a passing guest caught her arm in ti, steadying her.

Taking in her disheveled state, the stranger asked with concern, "Miss, are you all right?"

"I’m fine," lissa didn’t look up, shaking her head as she murmured in a barely audible voice, "Thanks."

After leaving the restaurant, she didn’t return to the car that had brought her. Instead, she wandered aimlessly, picking a direction at random.

Her bloodshot eyes and disheveled, heartbroken appearance drew curious glances from passersby.

—— Back at the dining table, "Tsk, tsk," The glamorous woman pinched Vicente’s arm, her slightly raspy voice laced with playful insinuation.

"Having a girlfriend really changes a man—even your muscles have gone soft."

Vicente ignored her teasing, his icy tone carrying an unmistakable warning.

"Keep your hand there if you don’t want it anymore."

The woman pursed her lips, visibly displeased.

"After all this ti apart, you’re still this stingy?

Can’t even let touch you?

What a man you are."

Despite her words, she wisely withdrew her hand.

Vicente lifted his teacup and took a sip, his voice low and dripping with disdain.

"If it weren’t the case, do you think I’d let soone like you get this close?"

"What’s wrong with how I look?

Not good enough for you?"

The stunning woman deliberately straightened her posture, accentuating her already alluring figure.

"I put a lot of effort into dressing up like this, you know."

"Disgusting."

Vicente didn’t even spare her a glance.

When Camilla returned to the dining table, she didn’t see lissa—instead, she witnessed this scene.

Her eyes instantly turned icy.

Didn’t Sinclair say Vicente was already with lissa?

Then what the hell is this?
